ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 75
1 ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಅಲ್ತಷ್ಟೇತೆಂಬ ರಾಗ. ಆಸಾಫನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಒಂದು ಗೀತೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ; ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಜನರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಜಪಿಸಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
“To the chief musician, Al-tashcheth, a psalm or song of Asaph.” We give thanks unto thee, O God, we give thanks, and nigh is thy name: men relate thy wondrous deeds.
2 “ನಿಯಮಿತ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು. ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವೆನು,
“For I will take up a fixed time when I will judge uprightly.
3 ಭೂಮಿಯೂ ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬೆರಗಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾನು ಅದರ ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
The earth and all her inhabitants are melting away: I myself establish firmly her pillars.” (Selah)
4 ‘ಅಹಂಕಾರದಿಂದ ವರ್ತಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ,’ ಎಂದು ಅಹಂಕಾರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ‘ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೊಂಬು ಎತ್ತಬೇಡಿರಿ,’ ಎಂದು ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವೆನು.
I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn.
5 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನು ಪರಲೋಕದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಎತ್ತಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಹಟಮಾರಿತನದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Lift not up on high your horn, speak not with a stiffly erect neck.
6 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಉದ್ಧಾರವು ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದಲೂ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಿಂದಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
For neither from the rising [of the sun], nor from [his] setting, nor from the wilderness of mountains [cometh this];
7 ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದೇವರು ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತುತ್ತಾರೆ.
But God is the judge: he lowereth one, and lifteth up another,
8 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯು ಇದೆ. ಔಷಧಿಮಿಶ್ರವಾಗಿ ಉಕ್ಕುವ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ಇದೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಹೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅದರ ಮಡ್ಡಿಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ಭೂಮಿಯ ದುಷ್ಟರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೀರಿಕೊಂಡು ಕುಡಿಯುವರು.
For there is a cup in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foameth, it is full of mixture: and he poureth out of the same; but its lees they drain, they drink—all the wicked of the earth.
9 ನಾನಾದರೋ ಸದಾ ವರ್ಣಿಸುವವನಾಗಿ ಯಾಕೋಬ ವಂಶದವರ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸಂಕೀರ್ತಿಸುವೆನು.
But I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10 ದುಷ್ಟರ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡಿದುಹೋಗುವುದು. ಆದರೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳು ಎತ್ತಲಾಗುವುದು.
And all the horns of the wicked will I hew off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
