ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 7
1 ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನವನಾದ ಕೂಷನ ಮಾತುಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ದಾವೀದನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹಾಡಿದ ಶಿಗ್ಗಯೋನ್ ಗೀತೆ. ನನ್ನ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಕಾಪಾಡಿರಿ,
Yahweh my God, I come to you to protect me. Rescue me, save me from all those who are pursuing me [in order to harm me].
2 ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಿಂಹದಂತೆ ಅವರು ಹರಿದುಬಿಡುವರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಡುವರು.
If you do not do that, they will tear me into pieces like a lion does [when it attacks the animals it wants to kill], and no one will save me [from them].
3 ನನ್ನ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ, ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಾಧವಿದ್ದರೆ,
Yahweh my God, if I have done anything that is wrong,
4 ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ಇದ್ದವನಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಕೇಡುಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ, ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಯಿಂದ ಏನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಸುಲಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೆ,
if I have done evil to some friend who did good things to me, or if, for no good reason, I have spared (OR, acted violently toward) those who were my enemies,
5 ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಯು ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿ ತುಳಿದು ಬಿಡಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಮಣ್ಣು ಪಾಲಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲಿ.
allow my enemies to pursue me and capture me. Allow them to trample me into the ground and leave me [SYN] [lying dead] in the dirt.
6 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದೇಳಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳ ಕ್ರೋಧಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ನೀಡಲು ಎದ್ದೇಳಿರಿ.
But Yahweh, because you are [very] angry [with those who pursue me], arise and attack/defeat my enemies who are furiously/angrily [attacking me] Do to them what is just!
7 ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಲು ಬಂದು ಸೇರಲಿ, ಉನ್ನತದಿಂದ ನೀವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಆಳಿರಿ.
Gather around you the people of [all] nations, and rule them from where you are in heaven [MTY].
8 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಜನಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಲಿ. ಮಹೋನ್ನತರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ, ಯಥಾರ್ಥತೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ನನಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಿರಿ.
Yahweh, judge the people of [all] nations! And, Yahweh, show that I have done nothing that is wrong.
9 ದುಷ್ಟರ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವು ಅಂತ್ಯವಾಗುವಂತೆಯೂ ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಭದ್ರತೆಯು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗುವಂತೆಯೂ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ನೀತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ಹೃದಯವನ್ನೂ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
God, you know what every person is thinking, and because you are righteous, you [always] do what is just/right. [So now] stop evil people from doing wicked [deeds], and defend [all of us who are] righteous!
10 ಮಹೋನ್ನತರಾದ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಗುರಾಣಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವರು ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
God, you protect me like a shield [protects soldiers] [MET]; you protect all those who are righteous in their inner being.
11 ದೇವರು ನೀತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದೇವರು ದುಷ್ಟನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸದಾ ರೋಷವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
You judge [everyone] correctly, and every day you punish [wicked people].
12 ಅಂಥವರು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಖಡ್ಗ ಮಸೆಯುವರು; ತಮ್ಮ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಬಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವರು.
Whenever your enemies do not (repent/change their behavior), [it is as though] [MET] you sharpen your sword and put a string on your bow [to get ready to kill them].
13 ಅಂಥವರಿಗೆ ಮರಣಾಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ತಮ್ಮ ಅಗ್ನಿಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
You are preparing your weapons that kill those whom they strike; the arrows that you will shoot have flaming tips.
14 ಅಂಥವರು ದುಷ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಧರಿಸಿ, ಸೇಡನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಹೆರುವರು.
Wicked people tell lies, and they think that they surely will be able to do [MET] the evil things that they are planning to do [just as surely as] a pregnant woman [knows that she is going to give birth to a child] [MET].
15 ಅಂಥವರು ಕುಣಿಯನ್ನು ಅಗೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ತಾವು ಅಗೆದ ಕುಣಿಯೊಳಗೆ ತಾವೇ ಬೀಳುವರು.
But when they dig a deep pit [to trap others], they themselves will fall into it.
16 ಅಂಥವರ ಕೇಡು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ತಿರುಗುವುದು; ಅವರ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರವೇ ಇಳಿಯುವುದು.
They themselves will experience the trouble that they want to cause others to have; they will hurt themselves by the violent things that they want to do to others.
17 ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಅವರು ನೀತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರು. ಮಹೋನ್ನತರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತನೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
I praise Yahweh because he [always acts] righteously/justly; I sing to praise Yahweh, the one who is much greater than any other god.
