ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 63
1 ದಾವೀದನು ಯೆಹೂದ ಸೀಮೆಯ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರು ನೀವೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕುತೂಹಲದಿಂದ ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ದಾಹಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀರಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವನು ಹೇಗೆ ನೀರಿಗಾಗಿ ಹಾತೊರೆವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಇಡೀ ಸರ್ವಸ್ವವೂ ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ದಾಹಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, thou [art] my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
2 ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಹೌದು, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
To see thy power and thy glory, so [as] I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
3 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಜೀವಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದದ್ದು. ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸುವುದು.
Because thy loving-kindness [is] better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4 ನಾನು ಜೀವಿಸುವ ಕಾಲವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆನು. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈ ಮುಗಿಯುವೆನು.
Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 ಮೃಷ್ಟ ಭೋಜನದಿಂದಲೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೃಪ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಉತ್ಸಾಹದ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವುದು.
My soul shall be satisfied as [with] marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise [thee] with joyful lips:
6 ನನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವಾಗ ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಜಾವಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವೆನು.
When I remember thee upon my bed, [and] meditate on thee in the [night] watches.
7 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವೇ ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆನು.
Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
8 ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆತುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲಗೈ ನನಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲವಾಗಿದೆ.
My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
9 ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇಡು ಬಯಸುವವರು ತಾವೇ ನಾಶವಾಗುವರು ಅವರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಆಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವರು.
But those [that] seek my soul to destroy [it], shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
10 ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಅವರು ಬೀಳುವರು. ನರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವಾಗುವರು.
They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
11 ಆದರೆ ಅರಸನು ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುವನು. ದೇವರ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಹೊಂದಿದವರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡುವವರ ಬಾಯಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಹೋಗುವುದು.
But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
