1 ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಅಲ್ತಷ್ಖೇತೆಂಬ ರಾಗವನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿದೆ. ದಾವೀದನ ಮಿಕ್ಟಮ್ ಹಾಡಿನ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆ. ಸೌಲನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದವರು ದಾವೀದನ ಜೀವ ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವನ ಮನೆಯ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಒಳಸಂಚುಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕಾವ್ಯ. ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿರಿ. ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದವರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ

2 ಕೆಡುಕನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿರಿ. ಕೊಲೆಪಾತಕರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ.
Deliver me from evildoers. Save me from the bloodthirsty men.
3 ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ಒಳಸಂಚುಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕ್ರೂರರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಾಧವಿಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ಯಾವ ತಪ್ಪೂ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ.
For, look, they lie in wait for my soul. The mighty gather themselves together against me, not for my disobedience, nor for my sin, LORD.
4 ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪು ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರು ಹಾನಿಮಾಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನನ್ನ ಅವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರಿ, ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿರಿ.
I have done no wrong, yet they are ready to attack me. Rise up, look, and help me.
5 ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರಿ. ದುಷ್ಟ ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ದಯೆಸಿಗದಿರಲಿ.
You, LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, rouse yourself to punish the nations. Show no mercy to the wicked traitors. (Selah)
6 ಅವರು ಸಂಜೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವರು. ನಾಯಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೊಗಳುವರು. ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರು.
They return at evening, howling like dogs, and prowl around the city.
7 ಇಗೋ, ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಬೊಗಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರ ತುಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಖಡ್ಗಗಳು ಇವೆ. ಅವರು, “ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವರು ಯಾರು?” ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Look, they spew with their mouth. Swords are in their lips, "For," they say, "who hears us?"
8 ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನಗುವಿರಿ. ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗವೆಲ್ಲ ಅಪಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕಿಡಾಗಲಿ.
But you, LORD, laugh at them. You scoff at all the nations.
9 ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಬಲವೇ, ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಕೋಟೆಯಾಗಿರುವಿರಿ.
Oh, my Strength, I watch for you, for God is my high tower.
10 ದೇವರು ಪ್ರಸನ್ನರಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುವರು. ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ನಿಂದಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಯಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವರು.
My God of mercy will come to meet me. God will let me look at my enemies in triumph.
11 ನಮ್ಮ ಗುರಾಣಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ಮರೆಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರು ಉಳಿದಿರಲಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸಿರಿ.
Do not kill them, or my people may forget. Scatter them by your power, and bring them down, LORD our shield.
12 ಅವರ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೂ, ಅವರ ತುಟಿಗಳ ಮಾತಿಗೂ, ಅವರು ನುಡಿಯುವ ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರ ಗರ್ವವೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯಲಿ.
For the sin of their mouth, and the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride, for the curses and lies which they utter.
13 ಅವರು ದಂಡನೆಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಲಿ. ಅವರು ನಿರ್ನಾಮವಾಗಿಬಿಡಲಿ. ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬರನ್ನು ಆಳುವವರು ದೇವರೇ ಎಂಬುದು ಇಡೀ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೇ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಲಿ.
Consume them in wrath. Consume them, and they will be no more. Let them know that God rules in Jacob, to the farthest parts of the earth. (Selah)
14 ಅವರು ಸಂಜೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವರು. ನಾಯಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೊಗಳುವರು. ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರು.
At evening let them return. Let them howl like a dog, and go around the city.
15 ಅವರು ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವರು. ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಗೊಣಗುಟ್ಟುವರು.
They shall wander up and down for food, and wait all night if they aren't satisfied.
16 ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹಾಡುವೆನು. ಹೌದು, ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಕುರಿತು ಹಾಡುವೆನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಭದ್ರಕೋಟೆಯೂ, ನನ್ನ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದೀರಿ.
But I will sing of your strength. Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning. For you have been my high tower, a refuge in the day of my distress.
17 ನನ್ನ ಬಲವಾಗಿರುವವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಭದ್ರಕೋಟೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನೀವು ನಾನು ಭರವಸೆ ಇಡುವ ಕರುಣೆಯುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
To you, my strength, I will sing praises. For God is my high tower, the God of my mercy.
