ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 54

1 ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ತಂತಿವಾದ್ಯದೊಡನೆ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು. ಜಿಫೆಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳದವರು ಸೌಲನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ದಾವೀದನು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲೇ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಮಸ್ಕಿಲ್ ರಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾವೀದನು ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲದಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಿರಿ.

“For the leader of the music. To be sung on stringed instruments A psalm of David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, Doth not David hide himself with us?” Save me, O God! by thy name, And by thy strength defend my cause!

2 ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಕೊಡಿರಿ.

O God! hear my prayer, Give ear to the words of my mouth!

3 ಗರ್ವಿಗಳು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕ್ರೂರಿಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

For enemies have risen up against me, And oppressors seek my life; They have not set God before their eyes. (Pause)

4 ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಸಹಾಯಕರು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವವರು.

Behold! God is my helper; The Lord is the support of my life.

5 ನನ್ನ ಕೆಡುಕನ್ನು ಬಯಸುವವರು ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಲಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ನೀವು ಅವರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸಿರಿ.

He will repay evil to my enemies; For thy truth's sake, O God! cut them off!

6 ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಂತ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು.

With a willing heart will I sacrifice to thee; I will praise thy name, O LORD! for it is good;

7 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದ ದೇವರು ನೀವೇ. ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಯ ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡುವೆನು.

For thou hast delivered me from all trouble, So that my eye hath looked with joy upon my enemies!
