ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 48
1 ಒಂದು ಗೀತೆ. ಕೋರಹೀಯನ ಪುತ್ರರು ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮಹೋನ್ನತರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪರ್ವತ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
A Song. A Psalm. Of the sons of Korah. Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised, in the town of our God, in his holy mountain.
2 ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಹಾರಾಜರ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತವು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಚಾಪೋನಿನ ಶಿಖರದಂತೆ ಇಡೀ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷಕರವಾದದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.
Beautiful in its high position, the joy of all the earth, is the mountain of Zion, the mountain of God, the town of the great King.
3 ದೇವರು ಅದರ ಅರಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ದೇವರು ತಾವೇ ಅದರ ಭದ್ರಕೋಟೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
In its buildings God is seen to be a high tower.
4 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಇಗೋ, ಅರಸರು ಕೂಡಿಬಂದರು. ಅವರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ದಾಳಿಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದರು.
For see! the kings came together by agreement, they were joined together.
5 ಅವರು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಬೆರಗಾದರು. ಅವರು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಓಡಿಹೋದರು.
They saw it, and so were full of wonder; they were troubled, and went quickly away in fear.
6 ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಡುಕವವೂ ಹೆರುವವಳ ಹಾಗೆ ನೋವೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯಿತು.
Shaking came on them and pain, as on a woman in childbirth.
7 ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ತಾರ್ಷೀಷ್ ಹಡಗುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವು ಒಡೆಯುತ್ತೀರಲ್ಲಾ.
By you the ships of Tarshish are broken as by an east wind.
8 ನಾವು ಹೇಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದೆವೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಂಡೆವು, ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾಗಿರುವ, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆವು: ದೇವರು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸುವರು.
As it came to our ears so have we seen it, in the town of the Lord of armies, in the town of our God; God will keep it fixed for ever. (Selah)
9 ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
Our thoughts were of your mercy, O God, while we were in your Temple.
10 ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆಯೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಇದೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲಗೈ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ.
As your name is, O God, so is your praise to the ends of the earth; your right hand is full of righteousness.
11 ನಿಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯ ನಿರ್ಣಯಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತವು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಲಿ; ಯೆಹೂದ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಪಡಲಿ.
Let there be joy in the mountain of Zion, and let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of your wise decisions.
12 ಚೀಯೋನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿ ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ತಿರುಗಾಡಿ ಅದರ ಗೋಪುರಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿರಿ.
Make your way about Zion, and go round it, numbering its towers.
13 ಮುಂದಿನ ತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಅದರ ಗೋಪುರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟು ನೋಡಿರಿ, ಅದರ ಅರಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ.
Take note of its strong walls, looking well at its fair buildings; so that you may give word of it to the generation which comes after.
14 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಈ ದೇವರು ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಿಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಅಂತ್ಯದವರೆಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಿಯಾಗಿರುವರು.
Because this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide.
