ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 38
1 ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದುರವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಭಕ್ತನ ದೇವರ ಸಹಾಯದ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ಬೇಸರದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಮನನೊಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ.
A Melody of David. To bring to Remembrance. O Yahweh, do not, in thine anger, correct me, nor, in thy wrath, chastise me;
2 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಣಗಳು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಟಿವೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಾ ಹಸ್ತವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಭಾರವಾಗಿದೆ.
For, thine arrows, have sunk down into me, and thy hand, presseth heavily upon me.
3 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೇಸರದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನ ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷೇಮವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
There is no soundness in my flesh, By reason of thine indignation, There is no peace in my bones, By reason of my sin;
4 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ನನ್ನ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳು ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಏರಿ ಹೋಗಿವೆ; ದೋಷ ಭಾವನೆಯ ಹೊರೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಬಹುಭಾರವಾಗಿವೆ.
For, mine iniquities, have passed over my head, Like a heavy burden, they are too heavy for me:
5 ನನ್ನ ಮೂರ್ಖತನದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನಗಾದ ಗಾಯಗಳು ದುರ್ವಾಸನೆಯಿಂದ ಕೀವು ತುಂಬಿವೆ.
My wounds are of bad odour—they have festered, by reason of my folly:
6 ನಾನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಬಾಗಿ ಕುಗ್ಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
I am bent, I am bowed down very low. All the day, have I gloomily walked;
7 ನನ್ನ ಸೊಂಟ ಬಹು ಬೇನೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ. ನನ್ನ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷೇಮವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
For, my loins, are filled with inflammation, and there is no soundness in my flesh:
8 ಬಲಹೀನನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಬಹಳ ಜಜ್ಜಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ವೇದನೆಯಿಂದ ನರಳುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ.
I am benumbed and crushed exceedingly, —I have cried aloud because of the groaning of my heart.
9 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗೊತ್ತೇ ಇದೆ; ನನ್ನ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾದದ್ದಲ್ಲ.
O My Lord! before thee, is all my longing, and, my sighing, from thee, hath not been hid:
10 ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ಬಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಿದೆ; ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಬೆಳಕು ಸಹ ಹೋಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
My heart, fluttereth, my strength hath forsaken me, and, as for the light of mine eyes, even they, are not with me:
11 ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯರೂ, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಧೆಗೆ ಓರೆಯಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವರು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
My lovers, and my friends, from before my stroke, stand aloof, —and, my near ones, far away, do stand:
12 ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರು ಬಲೆ ಒಡ್ಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರು ಕೇಡಿನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೋಸಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Yea they who are seeking my life, have laid snares, and they who are asking my harm, have threatened engulfing ruin, And, deceitful things—all day long, do they mutter.
13 ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಕಿವುಡನ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರೆಯದ ಮೂಕನ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
But, I, as one deaf, will not hear, —and as one dumb, who will not open his mouth:
14 ನಾನು ಕಿವಿ ಕೇಳಿಸದವನಂತೆ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಲಾರದಂತೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ.
Thus have I become as a man who cannot hear, in whose mouth are no arguments:
15 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ಎದುರು ನೋಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವಿರಿ.
Because, for thee, O Yahweh, have I waited, Thou, wilt answer, O Adonay, my God!
16 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು, “ಅವರು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡದೆ ಇರಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಪಾದ ಜಾರುವಾಗ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿರಲಿ,” ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
For I said, Lest they rejoice over me! When my feet were tottering, against me, have they magnified themselves:
17 ನಾನು ಎಡವಿ ಬೀಳಲಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ನೋವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದೆ.
For, I, to halt, am ready, and, my pain, is before me continually;
18 ನನ್ನ ಅಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ದುಃಖಪಡುವೆನು.
For, mine iniquity, will I declare, I shall be anxious because of my sin;
19 ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಬಲಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿನಾಕಾರಣವಾಗಿ ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
And, my foes, are alive—have become strong, —and multiplied are they who hate me for false cause:
20 ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವ ಕಾರಣ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Even they who are repaying evil for good, accuse me because I pursue the good.
21 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನನಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿರಬೇಡಿರಿ.
Do not forsake me, O Yahweh, My God! be not far from me:
22 ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಕ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಗ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ.
Make haste to help me, My Lord, my deliverance!
