ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 37
1 ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಕೆಟ್ಟವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕೋಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಕಿಚ್ಚುಪಡಬೇಡ.
A Psalme of David. Fret not thy selfe because of the wicked men, neither be enuious for the euill doers.
2 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಅವರು ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೇಗ ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಗುವರು. ಹಸಿರಾದ ಸೊಪ್ಪಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗುವರು.
For they shall soone bee cut downe like grasse, and shall wither as the greene herbe.
3 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡು; ಆಗ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿ ಹಸಿರುಗಾವಲನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವಿ.
Trust thou in the Lord and do good: dwell in the land, and thou shalt be fed assuredly.
4 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದವಾಗಿರು; ಆಗ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸುವರು.
And delite thy selfe in the Lord, and hee shall giue thee thine hearts desire.
5 ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸು; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಡು; ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವರು:
Commit thy way vnto the Lord, and trust in him, and he shall bring it to passe.
6 ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಉದಯದ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವರು, ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೊಳೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವರು.
And he shall bring foorth thy righteousnes as the light, and thy iudgement as the noone day.
7 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಶಾಂತನಾಗಿರು; ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಎದುರು ನೋಡು; ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಲವಾಗುವವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಸಿಡುಕಬೇಡ. ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕೋಪ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ.
Waite patiently vpon the Lord and hope in him: fret not thy selfe for him which prospereth in his way: nor for the man that bringeth his enterprises to passe.
8 ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸು ಮತ್ತು ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಬಿಡು. ಸಿಡುಕಬೇಡ, ಅದು ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಕ್ಕೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತದೆ.
Cease from anger, and leaue off wrath: fret not thy selfe also to doe euill.
9 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗಿಗಳು ನಾಶವಾಗುವರು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವವರೇ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
For euill doers shalbe cut off, and they that wait vpon the Lord, they shall inherite the land.
10 ಇನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದುಷ್ಟನು ಕಾಣದೆ ಹೋಗುವನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದರೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Therefore yet a litle while, and the wicked shall not appeare, and thou shalt looke after his place, and he shall not be found.
11 ಆದರೆ ಸಾತ್ವಿಕರು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ದೀನರು ಬಹಳ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನೂ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವರು.
But meeke men shall possesse the earth, and shall haue their delite in the multitude of peace.
12 ದುಷ್ಟನು ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಆದರೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಹಲ್ಲು ಕಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
The wicked practiseth against the iust, and gnasheth his teeth against him.
13 ದುಷ್ಟನ ದಿವಸ ಬರುತ್ತದೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.
But the Lord shall laugh him to scorne: for he seeth, that his day is comming.
14 ದುಷ್ಟರು ಬಡವನನ್ನೂ ದೀನನನ್ನೂ ಬೀಳಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಹಿರಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಸನ್ಮಾರ್ಗದವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಗ್ಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
The wicked haue drawen their sworde, and haue bent their bowe, to cast downe the poore and needie, and to slay such as be of vpright conuersation.
15 ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಖಡ್ಗ ಅವರ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿದು ಬಿಡುವುದು; ಅವರ ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಮುರಿದುಹೋಗುವವು.
But their sword shall enter into their owne heart, and their bowes shalbe broken.
16 ದುಷ್ಟರ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯಕ್ಕಿಂತ ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಅಲ್ಪವೇ ಲೇಸು.
A small thing vnto the iust man is better, then great riches to the wicked and mightie.
17 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟರ ತೋಳುಗಳು ಮುರಿದುಹೋಗುವವು, ಆದರೆ ನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಉದ್ಧಾರ ಮಾಡುವರು.
For the armes of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord vpholdeth the iust men.
18 ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ದಿವಸಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಪರಾಮರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆಯುವರು. ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಇರುವುದು.
The Lord knoweth the dayes of vpright men, and their inheritance shall bee perpetuall.
19 ಆಪತ್ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಕುಂದುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಕ್ಷಾಮದ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವರು.
They shall not be confounded in the perilous time, and in the daies of famine they shall haue ynough.
20 ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟರು ನಾಶವಾಗುವರು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಗದ್ದೆಯ ಹೂಗಳಂತೆ ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗುವರು; ಹೊಗೆಯಂತೆ ಮಾಯವಾಗುವರು.
But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be consumed as the fatte of lambes: euen with the smoke shall they consume away.
21 ದುಷ್ಟನು ಸಾಲ ಮಾಡಿ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಡದೆ ಹೋಗುವನು. ಆದರೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನು ಧಾರಾಳವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
The wicked boroweth and payeth not againe. but the righteous is mercifull, and giueth.
22 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವವರು, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ಆದರೆ ದೇವರ ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವವರು ನಾಶವಾಗುವರು.
For such as be blessed of God, shall inherite the lande, and they that be cursed of him, shalbe cut off.
23 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಹರ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ ಅವರ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸುವರು.
The pathes of man are directed by the Lord: for he loueth his way.
24 ಅವನು ಎಡವಿದರೂ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಾವೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಹಿಡಿಯುವರು.
Though he fall, hee shall not be cast off: for the Lord putteth vnder his hand.
25 ನಾನು ಬಾಲಕನಾಗಿದ್ದೆನು, ಈಗ ಮುದುಕನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಆದರೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುವುದನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಾಗಿ ಭಿಕ್ಷೆ ಬೇಡುವುದನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದೂ ನಾನು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
I haue beene yong, and am olde: yet I sawe neuer the righteous forsaken, nor his seede begging bread.
26 ಅವರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಧಾರಾಳವಾಗಿ ಸಾಲ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನೀತಿವಂತನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಹೊಂದುವರು.
But hee is euer mercifull and lendeth, and his seede enioyeth the blessing.
27 ಕೇಡಿನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡು, ಆಗ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವೆ.
Flee from euill and doe good, and dwell for euer.
28 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ತಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತ ಜನರನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಡರು. ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಸದಾಕಾಲಕವೂ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತರಾಗಿರುವರು; ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಸಂತತಿಯು ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗುವುದು.
For the Lord loueth iudgement, and forsaketh not his Saintes: they shall be preserued for euermore: but the seede of the wicked shall be cut off.
29 ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವರು.
The righteous men shall inherit the lande, and dwell therein for euer.
30 ನೀತಿವಂತನ ಬಾಯಿ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯುವುದು; ಅವನ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದು.
The mouth of the righteous will speake of wisedome, and his tongue will talke of iudgement.
31 ಅವನ ದೇವರ ನಿಯಮವೂ ಅವನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೆ; ಅವನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಕದಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
For the Lawe of his God is in his heart, and his steppes shall not slide.
32 ದುಷ್ಟನು ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾನೆ.
The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
33 ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ನ್ಯಾಯ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ಅಪರಾಧಿಯೆಂದು ತೀರ್ಪು ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
But the Lord wil not leaue him in his hand, nor condemne him, when he is iudged.
34 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸು; ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆ; ಆಗ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅವರು ಉನ್ನತಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವರು; ದುಷ್ಟರ ವಿನಾಶವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಾಣುವಿರಿ.
Waite thou on the Lord, and keepe his way, and he shall exalt thee, that thou shalt inherite the lande: when the wicked men shall perish, thou shalt see.
35 ದುಷ್ಟರು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಂಡೆನು; ಅವರು ಹಸಿರಾಗಿ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಮರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದರು.
I haue seene the wicked strong, and spreading himselfe like a greene bay tree.
36 ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಅಳಿದೇ ಹೋದರು; ಅವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದೆನು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Yet he passed away, and loe, he was gone, and I sought him, but he could not be founde.
37 ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸು; ಯಥಾರ್ಥನನ್ನು ನೋಡು; ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಹುಡುಕುವವರಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವಿದೆ.
Marke the vpright man, and beholde the iust: for the end of that man is peace.
38 ಆದರೆ ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಾಶವಾಗುವರು; ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.
But the transgressours shall be destroyed together, and the ende of the wicked shall bee cut off.
39 ನೀತಿವಂತರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಂದಲೇ; ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರೇ ಅವರ ಕೋಟೆ.
But the saluation of the righteous men shalbe of the Lord: he shalbe their strength in the time of trouble.
40 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವರು. ದುಷ್ಟರಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಬಿಡಿಸುವರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
For the Lord shall helpe them, and deliuer them: he shall deliuer them from the wicked, and shall saue them, because they trust in him.
