ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 35
1 ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಿ.
“Of David.” Contend, O Lord, with those that contend with me: fight against those that fight against me.
2 ಗುರಾಣಿಯನ್ನೂ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಎದ್ದು ಬನ್ನಿರಿ.
Take hold of shield and buckler, and rise up for my help.
3 ಬರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನೂ ಭಲ್ಲೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಅಡ್ಡಗಟ್ಟಿರಿ. “ನಾನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ” ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ.
And draw out the spear, and step in against my pursuers; say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
4 ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಟ್ಟು ಅವಮಾನ ಹೊಂದಲಿ; ನನಗೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವವರು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಲಜ್ಜೆಪಡಲಿ.
Let those be put to shame and be confounded that seek after my life: let those be turned backward and be made to blush, that devise unhappiness for me.
5 ಅವರು ಗಾಳಿಗೆ ಹಾರುವ ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಗಲಿ; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೂತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಲಿ.
Let them be as chaff before the wind; and may the angel of the Lord cast them forth.
6 ಅಂಥವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯೂ ಜಾರುವಿಕೆಯೂ ಆಗಿರಲಿ; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೂತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಲಿ.
May their way be dark and slippery: and may the angel of the Lord pursue them.
7 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲೆಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಒಡ್ಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನನಗೆ ಗುಂಡಿಯನ್ನು ಅಗೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
For without cause have they hidden for me their net in a pit, without cause have they dug [pit-falls] against my life.
8 ನಾಶವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಬರಲಿ; ಅವರು ಅಡಗಿಸಿಟ್ಟ ಬಲೆಯು ಅವರನ್ನೇ ಹಿಡಿಯಲಿ; ವಿನಾಶನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಗುಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳಲಿ.
May then destruction come upon each of them at unawares; and may his net that he hath hidden catch himself: in [utter] destruction let him fall therein.
9 ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಗೊಂಡು, ದೇವರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುವುದು.
But my soul shall exult in the Lord: she shall be glad through his salvation.
10 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, “ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಾಗೆ ಯಾರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ? ಬಡವನನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗಿಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಿಂದ ಕಾಪಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ ದರಿದ್ರನನ್ನೂ, ಕೊರತೆಯುಳ್ಳವನನ್ನೂ ಸುಲಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ,” ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಾಣವೇ ಹೇಳುವುದು.
All my bones will say, Lord, who is like unto thee, who deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that robbeth him?
11 ಸುಳ್ಳುಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ನನಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು, ನಾನು ತಿಳಿಯದವುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
There rise up witnesses of violence; concerning what I know not they question me.
12 ನನ್ನ ಉಪಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದುಃಖದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರಂತೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೆ
They recompense me with evil in place of good, [bringing] bereavement on my soul.
13 ನಾನಾದರೋ ಅವರು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರಾದಾಗ ಗೋಣಿತಟ್ಟು ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಉಪವಾಸದಿಂದ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ದೊರೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I afflicted with fasting my soul, and my prayer returned into my own bosom.
14 ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥರಾದವನು ನನಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಸಹೋದರನೂ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗಾಗಿ ದುಃಖಪಡುವವನ ಹಾಗೆ ಭಾರವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ ತಲೆಬಾಗಿ ಅಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು.
As though he had been to me a friend or a brother did I walk about: as one that mourneth for a mother did I sorrowfully bend down my head.
15 ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಎಡವಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಹೌದು, ದೂಷಕರು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ನನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
But in my downfall they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together; there gathered themselves together against me abject wretches, whom I knew not; they did tear me, and ceased not:
16 ಔತಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗೇಲಿಮಾಡುವ ಕಪಟಿಗಳಂತೆ ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
With hypocritical babbling mockers, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
17 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ನೀವು ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಇರುವಿರಿ? ಅವರ ಅಪಾಯಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿರಿ. ಆ ಸಿಂಹಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿರಿ.
O Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, from the young lions my solitary spirit.
18 ಆಗ ನಾನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಭೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು; ಬಹುಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆನು.
I will thank thee in the great assembly: among a mighty people will I praise thee.
19 ನಿಷ್ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಳ್ಳಾಗಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡದೆ ಇರಲಿ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರು ಕಣ್ಣು ಸನ್ನೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಇರಲಿ.
Let not rejoice over me those that are my enemies wrongfully: [nor] let those who hate me without cause wink with the eye.
20 ಅವರು ಅಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶಾಂತರಾಗಿ ಬಾಳುವವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೋಸದ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
For they speak not peace; but against the quiet in the land they devise deceitful words.
21 ಹೌದು, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ, “ಆಹಾ, ಆಹಾ, ನಾವು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಂಡೆವು,” ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Yea, they opened wide against me their mouth; they said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.
22 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಮೌನವಾಗಿರಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನನಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿರಲೂ ಬೇಡಿರಿ.
Thou hast seen it, O Lord! remain not silent: O Lord, be not far from me.
23 ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದೇಳಿರಿ.
Arouse thyself, and awake to do me justice, my God and my Lord, unto my cause.
24 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನನಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಿರಿ; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡದೆ ಇರಲಿ.
Judge me according to thy righteousness, O Lord my God; and let them not rejoice over me.
25 ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ, “ಆಹಾ, ನಮ್ಮ ಇಷ್ಟವೇ ನೆರವೇರಿತು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳದಿರಲಿ; “ಅವನನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟೆವು,” ಎಂದೂ ಅವರು ಹೇಳದೇ ಇರಲಿ.
Let them not say in their heart, Aha, [this is the wish of] our soul: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
26 ನನ್ನ ಕೇಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವವರು ನಾಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕಳವಳಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿ; ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು ನಾಚಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದಲಿ.
Let those be made ashamed and put to the blush together that rejoice at my mishap; let them be clothed with shame and confusion that magnify themselves above me.
27 ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವವರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹಧ್ವನಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಆನಂದಪಡಲಿ; “ಹೌದು, ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಲಿ,” ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಹೇಳಲಿ.
Let those shout, and rejoice, that desire my righteousness: yea, let them say continually, Great is the Lord, who desireth the welfare of his servant.
28 ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ವರ್ಣಿಸುವುದು.
And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness, all the day of thy praise.
