ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 3
1 ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನಿಂದ ಓಡಿಹೋದಾಗ ರಚಿಸಿದ್ದು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳು ಬಹುಜನ! ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಏಳುವವರು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಜನ!
A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how are they multiplied that trouble me? many [are] they that rise up against me.
2 “ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಅನೇಕರು ನನ್ನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Many [there are] who say of my soul, [There is] no help for him in God. (Selah)
3 ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವೇ ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ, ನನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯೂ ನನ್ನ ತಲೆ ಮೇಲೆತ್ತುವವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.
4 ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಧ್ವನಿಯೆತ್ತಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವೆನು, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪರ್ವತದಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವರು.
I cried to the LORD with my voice, and he heard me from his holy hill. (Selah)
5 ನಾನು ಮಲಗಿ ನಿದ್ರಿಸುವೆನು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಂಡೆನು.
I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
6 ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜನರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದರೂ ನಾನು ಭಯಪಡೆನು.
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set [themselves] against me on all sides.
7 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಏಳಿರಿ! ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ. ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೆಲ್ಲರ ದವಡೆಗೆ ಹೊಡೆಯಿರಿ; ದುಷ್ಟರ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಬಿಡಿರಿ.
Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all my enemies [upon] the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಂದಲೇ ಬರುವುದು. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವಿರಲಿ.
Salvation [belongeth] to the LORD: thy blessing [is] upon thy people. (Selah)
