ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 140
1 ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಕೆಡುಕರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿರಿ, ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರಿಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕಾಪಾಡಿರಿ.
To him that excelleth. A Psalme of David. Deliuer me, O Lord, from the euill man: preserue me from the cruel man:
2 ಅವರು ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಕಲಹವೆಬ್ಬಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Which imagine euill things in their heart, and make warre continually.
3 ತಮ್ಮ ನಾಲಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾವಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಹದಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಸರ್ಪಗಳ ವಿಷವು ಅವರ ತುಟಿಗಳ ಕೆಳಗಿದೆ.
They haue sharpened their tongues like a serpent: adders poyson is vnder their lips. (Selah)
4 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ದುಷ್ಟರ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕಾಯಿರಿ. ಹಿಂಸಕರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು, ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Keepe mee, O Lord, from the handes of the wicked: preserue mee from the cruell man, which purposeth to cause my steppes to slide.
5 ಗರ್ವಿಷ್ಠರು ನನಗೆ ಉರುಲನ್ನೂ, ಪಾಶಗಳನ್ನೂ ರಹಸ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಬಲೆಯನ್ನು ದಾರಿಯ ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನಗೆ ಬೋನಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
The proude haue layde a snare for me, and spred a nette with cordes in my pathway, and set grennes for me. (Selah)
6 ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು, “ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಕರುಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಬೇಡುವ ನನ್ನ ಮೊರೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ.
Therefore I saide vnto the Lord, Thou art my God: heare, O Lord, the voyce of my prayers.
7 ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಬಲವಾಗಿರುವ ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧದ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಪಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ.
O Lord God the strength of my saluation, thou hast couered mine head in the day of battel.
8 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಅವರು ಉನ್ನತಕ್ಕೇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರ ಯುಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಬೇಡಿರಿ.”
Let not the wicked haue his desire, O Lord: performe not his wicked thought, least they be proude. (Selah)
9 ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವವರ ತುಟಿಗಳ ಕೇಡು, ಅವರ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೇ ಬರಲಿ.
As for the chiefe of them, that compasse me about, let the mischiefe of their owne lippes come vpon them.
10 ಉರಿ ಕೆಂಡಗಳು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಲಿ; ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರು ಏಳಲಾರದ ಹಾಗೆ, ಇತರರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕುಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಡವಲಿ.
Let coles fal vpon them: let him cast them into the fire, and into the deepe pits, that they rise not.
11 ಚಾಡಿಕೋರರು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯದಿರಲಿ; ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಡು ಬೇಟೆಯಾಡಿ ಕೆಡವಲಿ.
For the backbiter shall not be established vpon the earth: euill shall hunt the cruell man to destruction.
12 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಬಡವನಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು, ಬಲಹೀನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನೂ ತೀರಿಸುವರೆಂದೂ ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು.
I know that the Lord will auenge the afflicted, and iudge the poore.
13 ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನೀತಿವಂತರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರ ಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವರು; ಯಥಾರ್ಥರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಳುವರು.
Surely the righteous shall prayse thy Name, and the iust shall dwell in thy presence.
