ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 14

1 ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. “ದೇವರು ಇಲ್ಲಾ,” ಎಂದು ಮೂರ್ಖರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಕೆಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿ, ಅಸಹ್ಯ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

For the choirmaster. Of David. The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt; their acts are vile. There is no one who does good.

2 ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಇದ್ದಾರೋ ಎಂದು ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಸ್ವರ್ಗದಿಂದ, ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದರು.

The LORD looks down from heaven upon the sons of men to see if any understand, if any seek God.

3 ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಒಬ್ಬರಾದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

All have turned away, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.

4 ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಏನೂ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯಂತೆ ತಿಂದು ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆಯೋ? ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಎಂದೂ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

Will the workers of iniquity never learn? They devour my people like bread; they refuse to call upon the LORD.

5 ದೇವರು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಸಹವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ, ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವವರು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಭಯಭ್ರಾಂತರಾಗುವರು.

There they are, overwhelmed with dread, for God is in the company of the righteous.

6 ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವ ನಡೆಸುವವರೇ, ನೀವು ಬಡವರ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರಾಶೆಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ, ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ಅವರ ಆಶ್ರಯವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

You sinners frustrate the plans of the oppressed, yet the LORD is their shelter.

7 ಓ, ಚೀಯೋನಿನಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ಬಂದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು! ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವಾಗ, ಯಾಕೋಬ್ಯರು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಗೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುವರು.

Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come from Zion! When the LORD restores His captive people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad!
