ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 139
1 ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known [me].
2 ನಾನು ಕುಳಿತಿರುವುದನ್ನೂ, ಏಳುವುದನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ದೂರದಿಂದ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Thou knowest my down-sitting and my up rising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
3 ನಾನು ನಡೆಯುವುದನ್ನೂ, ನಾನು ಮಲಗುವುದನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ವಿವೇಚಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸುಪರಿಚಿತವಾಗಿವೆ.
Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted [with] all my ways.
4 ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಆರಂಭಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಅದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
For [there is] not a word on my tongue, [but] lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
5 ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ, ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thy hand upon me.
6 ಇಂಥ ಅರಿವು ನನಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವಿಸ್ಮಯವಾಗಿದೆ, ಅದು ನನಗೆ ನಿಲುಕಲಾರದಷ್ಟು ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿದೆ.
[Such] knowledge [is] too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot [attain] to it.
7 ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಾನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಲಿ?
Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8 ನಾನು ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿ ಹೋದರೆ, ನೀವು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೀರಿ; ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದರೂ ನೀವು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದೀರಿ. (Sheol h7585)
If I ascend into heaven, thou [art] there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou [art there]. (Sheol h7585)
9 ಉದಯದ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದರೆ,
[If] I take the wings of the morning, [and] dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವುದು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲಗೈ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವುದು.
Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
11 “ಕತ್ತಲೆಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕವಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳಕು ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇರುಳಾಗಲಿ,” ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ,
If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
12 ಕತ್ತಲು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ರಾತ್ರಿಯು ಹಗಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುವುದು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕತ್ತಲು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೆಳಕಿನಂತಿರುವುದು.
Yes, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light [are] both alike [to thee].
13 ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಾತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದವರು ನೀವೇ; ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದವರು ನೀವೇ.
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಚಿತ್ರವಾಗಿಯೂ ವಿಸ್ಮಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಕರವಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು, ನಾನು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
I will praise thee: for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made: wonderful [are] thy works; and [that] my soul well knoweth.
15 ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿದಾಗಲೂ, ಭೂಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿದಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಅಸ್ಥಿಪಂಜರವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
My substance was not hid from thee when I was made in secret, [and] curiously formed in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 ನಾನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಭ್ರೂಣವಾಗಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದವು; ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಅನುಮತಿಸಿರುವ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಕೊನೆಯದಿನದವರೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಿನಗಳೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲಾಗಿವೆ.
Thy eyes saw my substance, yet being imperfect; and in thy book all [my members] were written, [which] in continuance were fashioned, when [as yet there was] none of them.
17 ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ನನಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ! ಅವುಗಳ ಎಣಿಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ!
How precious also are thy thoughts to me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿದರೆ, ಅವು ಮರಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿವೆ! ನಾನು ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗುವಾಗ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವೆನು.
[If] I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
19 ದೇವರೇ, ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನೀವು ದುಷ್ಟರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಾಗಿರುವುದು! ಕೊಲೆಪಾತಕರೇ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿ ಹೋದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಹಿತ!
Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
20 ಅವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ವೈರಿಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ದುರುಪಯೋಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
For they speak against thee wickedly, [and] thy enemies take [thy name] in vain.
21 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸದಿರುವೆನೋ? ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹೀನೈಸದಿರುವೆನೋ?
Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 ನಾನು ಪೂರ್ಣ ದ್ವೇಷದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಂತೆ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them my enemies.
23 ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಚಿಂತಾಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts:
24 ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಡಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗವಿದೆಯೋ ಎಂದು ನೋಡಿರಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿರಿ.
And see if [there is any] wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
