ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 122

1 ದಾವೀದನ ಯಾತ್ರಾ ಗೀತೆ. “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ,” ಎಂದು ಜನರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದಾಗ, ನನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಯಿತು.

A Song of Ascents. David’s. I was glad, when they were saying unto me, Unto the house of Yahweh, let us go!

2 ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾದಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಲುಪಿದೆ.

Standing are our feet, within thy gates, O Jerusalem!

3 ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು, ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾಗಿದೆ.

Jerusalem! that hath been builded, A true city, all joined together as one:

4 ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳು, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳು ಯಾತ್ರೆಯಾಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.

Whither have come up the tribes, The tribes of Yah, A testimony to Israel, To give thanks unto the Name of Yahweh:

5 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯ ನಿರ್ಣಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಗಳೂ, ಅಂದರೆ, ದಾವೀದನ ಮನೆಯ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಗಳೂ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.

For there are set—Thrones for justice, Thrones for the house David.

6 ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಸಮಾಧಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಮಾಡಿರಿ. “ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಲಿ.

Ask ye for the peace of Jerusalem, They shall prosper, who love thee!

7 ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಿರಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅರಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯೂ ಇರಲಿ.”

Peace be within thy walls, prosperity within thy palaces:

8 ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ “ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಿರಲಿ,” ಎಂದು ಈಗ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

For the sake of my brethren and friends, Oh, might I speak [saying], Peace be within thee!

9 ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹಾರೈಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

For the sake of the house of Yahweh our God, will I seek blessing for thee.
