ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 120

1 ಯಾತ್ರಾ ಗೀತೆ. ನನ್ನ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೂಗಿದೆನು; ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

In my trouble I cried to the Lord: and he heard me.

2 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಸುಳ್ಳು ತುಟಿಯಿಂದಲೂ, ಮೋಸದ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಬಿಡಿಸಿರಿ.

O Lord, deliver my soul from wicked lips, and a deceitful tongue.

3 ಮೋಸದ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯೇ, ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಏನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು? ಯಾವ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕು?

What shall be given to thee, or what shall be added to thee, to a deceitful tongue.

4 ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯ ಹದವಾದ ಬಾಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಲಿ ಮರದ ಕೆಂಡಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗುವುದು.

The sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals that lay waste.

5 ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ನಾನು ಮೆಷೆಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗಬೇಕಲ್ಲಾ! ಕೇದಾರಿನ ಗುಡಾರಗಳ ಬಳಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

Woe is me, that my sojourning is prolonged! I have dwelt with the inhabitants of cedar:

6 ನಾನು ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸುವವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುಕಾಲ ಜೀವಿಸಬೇಕಾಯಿತು.

My soul hath been long a sojourner.

7 ನಾನು ಶಾಂತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯನು; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಮಾತಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವರು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

With them that hate peace I was peaceable: when I spoke to them they fought against me without cause.
