ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 118
1 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಅವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರು. ಅವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
Tell Yahweh that you thank him very much for the good [things that he has done for you] He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever.
2 “ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಇದೆ,” ಎಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಹೇಳಲಿ.
You Israeli [people] should [repeatedly] shout, “He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever!”
3 “ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಇರುವುದು,” ಎಂದು ಆರೋನನ ಮನೆಯವರು ಹೇಳಲಿ.
You [priests] who are descendants of Aaron should repeatedly shout, “He faithfully loves us, his people, forever!”
4 “ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಇರುವುದು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರು ಹೇಳಲಿ.
All you who revere him should repeatedly shout, “He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever!”
5 ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೂಗಿದೆನು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದರು.
When I was distressed, I called out to Yahweh, and he answered me and set me free [from my worries/troubles].
6 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಪರವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನಾನು ಭಯಪಡೆನು. ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನನಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲನು?
Yahweh is (on my side/helping me), so I will not be afraid [of anything]. No one [RHQ] can do anything that will [prevent God from blessing] me forever.
7 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕರು; ನಾನು ವೈರಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಯ ಸಾಧಿಸುವೆನು.
[Yes], Yahweh is (on my side/helping me), [so] I will look triumphantly at my enemies [while he defeats them].
8 ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಡುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಡೆಯುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು.
It is better to trust in Yahweh than to (depend on/trust in) people.
9 ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಡುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಡೆಯುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು.
It is better to trust Yahweh to protect [us] than to trust [that influential/important] people [will protect us].
10 ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುವೆನು.
Armies of [MTY] many nations surrounded me, [but] Yahweh enabled me to defeat them by his power [MTY].
11 ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸುವೆನು.
They completely surrounded me, [but] I defeated them all by the power of Yahweh.
12 ಜೇನುನೊಣಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡರೂ, ಅವರು ಮುಳ್ಳಿನ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವಾಗಿ ಹೋದರು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸುವೆನು.
They swarmed around me like [angry] bees; they were like a fire that blazes strongly, but only briefly, in a thornbush, [but] I defeated them by the power [MTY] that Yahweh gave me.
13 ನಾನು ಬೀಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ವೈರಿಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೂಕಿದನು; ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
[My enemies] attacked me fiercely and almost defeated me, but Yahweh helped me.
14 ನನ್ನ ಬಲವೂ, ಬೆಂಬಲವೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ; ಅವರೇ ನನಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾದರು.
Yahweh is the one who makes me strong, and he is the one about whom I [always] sing; he has saved me [from my enemies].
15 ಜಯಘೋಷವೂ ಹರ್ಷಧ್ವನಿಯೂ ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಲಗೈ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದೆ.
Listen to the joyful songs of victory being sung in the tents of godly/righteous people! They sing, “Yahweh has defeated our enemies by his mighty power [MTY];
16 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಲಗೈ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಎತ್ತಲಾಗಿದೆ; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಲಗೈ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದೆ.
he has raised his strong right arm [to show he has defeated his enemies]. Yahweh has completely defeated them!”
17 ನಾನು ಸಾಯದೆ ಬದುಕಿರುವೆನು, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಾರುವೆನು.
I will not be killed [in battle]; I will live to proclaim the great things that Yahweh has done.
18 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು; ಆದರೆ ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Yahweh has punished me severely, but he has not allowed (me to die/[my enemies] to kill me).
19 ನೀತಿಯ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತೆರೆಯಿರಿ; ಅವುಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸು.
[You gatekeepers], open for me the gates of the temple in order that I may enter and thank Yahweh.
20 ಇದೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಾಗಿಲು; ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವರು.
Those are the gates [through which we enter the temple to worship] Yahweh; godly/righteous people enter those gates.
21 ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾವಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವೆನು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನಗೆ ನೀವು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು, ನನಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾದಿರಿ.
[Yahweh], I thank you that you answered my prayer, and you saved me [from my enemies].
22 ಮನೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವವರು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ ಕಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಮೂಲೆಗಲ್ಲಾಯಿತು.
[Yahweh’s promised/chosen king is like] [MET] the stone which the builders rejected [when they were building a house], [but that stone] became the (cornerstone/most important stone in the building).
23 ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಂದಲೇ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು; ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
(This was done by Yahweh/Yahweh has done this), and it is a wonderful thing for us to see.
24 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನವು ಇದೇ; ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡೋಣ.
This is the day in which [we remember that] Yahweh acted [powerfully to defeat our enemies]; we will rejoice and be glad/happy today.
25 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ನಮಗೆ ಜಯಕೊಡಿರಿ.
Yahweh, we plead with you to [keep] rescuing us [from our enemies]. Yahweh, please help us (accomplish/do well) [what we want to do].
26 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವವನು ಧನ್ಯನು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವೆವು.
Yahweh, bless the one who will come with your authority [MTY]. And from the temple we (bless/[ask Yahweh to] bless) all of you.
27 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ.
Yahweh is God, and he has caused his light to shine on us. Come, carrying [palm] branches, and join the people [who are starting] the festival as they go to the altar.
28 ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವೆನು; ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರು; ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾನು ಉನ್ನತಪಡಿಸುವೆನು.
[Yahweh], you are the God whom I [worship], and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will tell [everyone] that you are great!
29 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾ ಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಅವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರು; ಅವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
Thank Yahweh, because he does good things [for us] He will faithfully love [us] forever.
