ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 115
1 ನಮಗಲ್ಲ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಮಗಲ್ಲ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮಹಿಮೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ಯತೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಾಗಲಿ.
Not to us, Adonai, not to us, but to your name give kavod ·weighty glory·, for your chesed ·loving-kindness·, and for your truth’s sake.
2 “ಅವರ ದೇವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?” ಎಂದು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಏಕೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು?
Why should the nations say, “Where is their God, now?”
3 ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುವುದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.
4 ಜನರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ಬಂಗಾರದವುಗಳು, ಅವು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿವೆ.
Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
5 ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಾಯಿಯಿದೆ, ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿವೆ, ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
They have mouths, but they don’t speak. They have eyes, but they don’t see.
6 ಕಿವಿಗಳಿವೆ, ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಮೂಗು ಉಂಟು, ಮೂಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
They have ears, but they don’t sh'ma ·hear obey·. They have noses, but they don’t smell.
7 ಕೈಗಳುಂಟು, ಮುಟ್ಟುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಕಾಲುಗಳುಂಟು, ನಡೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರ ಗಂಟಲಿನಿಂದ ಧ್ವನಿ ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.
They have hands, but they don’t feel. They have feet, but they don’t walk, neither do they speak through their throat.
8 ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರು ಅವುಗಳಂತೆಯೇ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವವರು ಅವುಗಳಂತಾಗುವರು.
Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.
9 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮನೆಯವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಡಿರಿ; ಅವರೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹಾಯವೂ, ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Israel [God prevails], trust in Adonai! He is their help and their shield.
10 ಆರೋನನ ಮನೆಯವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಡಿರಿ; ಅವರೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹಾಯವೂ, ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
House of Aaron [Light-bringer], trust in Adonai! He is their help and their shield.
11 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರೇ, ನೀವು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಡಿರಿ; ಅವರೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹಾಯವೂ ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
You who fear Adonai, trust in Adonai! He is their help and their shield.
12 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವರು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವರು; ಆರೋನನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವರು.
Adonai remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel [God prevails]. He will bless the house of Aaron [Light-bringer].
13 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯ ಪಡುವವರಾದ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಕಿರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಬೇಧವಿಲ್ಲದೇ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವರು.
He will bless those who fear Adonai, both small and great.
14 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸುವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಾಡುವರು.
May Adonai increase you more and more, you and your children.
15 ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನೂ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಹೊಂದಿದವರು.
Blessed are you by Adonai, who made heaven and earth.
16 ಉನ್ನತ ಆಕಾಶಗಳು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರದೇ, ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾನವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
The heavens are the heavens of Adonai; but the earth has he given to the children of men.
17 ಸತ್ತವರೂ ಮೌನಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಇಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
The dead don’t Halleluyah ·praise Yah·, neither any who go down into silence;
18 ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ಈಗಲೂ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆವು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ.
But we will bless Yah, from this time forward and forever more. Halleluyah ·praise Yah·!
