ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 107
1 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ, ಅವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರು; ಅವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಇರುವುದು.
BOOK FIFTH: Oh give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for unto eternity endureth his kindness.
2 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದವರು ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಿ; ವೈರಿಯ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾದವರು ಆ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳಲಿ
Thus let the Lord's redeemed say, even those whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary;
3 ಪೂರ್ವ, ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ, ಉತ್ತರ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದವರು ಸಹ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಿ.
And whom he hath gathered out of the [various] lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the sea.
4 ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಹಾದಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಲೆದು, ವಾಸಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋದರು.
They wandered about in the wilderness, in the desert path; they could not find an inhabited city:
5 ಹಸಿದು, ದಾಹಗೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋಯಿತು.
Hungry and thirsty, their soul within them fainted.
6 ಆಗ ಅವರು ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು; ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಸಂಕಟಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದರು.
Then they cried unto the Lord when they were in distress, [and] out of their afflictions he delivered them.
7 ಜನರು ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಹಾಗೆ, ಜನರನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾದ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
And he led them forth on the right way, that they might go to an inhabited city.
8 ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಉಪಕಾರಮಾಡಲಿ, ಮಾನವರಿಗೆ ದೇವರು ಮಾಡುವ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಕೊಂಡಾಡಲಿ.
They [therefore] shall give thanks unto the Lord for his kindness, and [proclaim] his wonders to the children of men!
9 ದೇವರು ದಾಹಪಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಿ, ಹಸಿದ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದರಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
For he satisfied the longing soul, and the hungry soul he filled with good.—
10 ಕೆಲವರು ಕತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮರಣದ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತರು, ಕೆಲವರು ಸಂಕಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಬೇಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಧಿತರಾಗಿ ಸೆರೆಬಿದ್ದವರು ಕೆಲವರು.
Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, bound in misery and [fetters of] iron; —
11 ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿ, ಮಹೋನ್ನತರ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೀನೈಯಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗಾಯಿತು.
Because they have rebelled against the words of God, and have contemned the counsel of the Most High;
12 ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕಷ್ಟದಿಂದ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿದಾಗ ಸಹಾಯಕನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದರು.
And he humbled with trouble their heart; they stumbled, and there was none to help;
13 ಆಗ ಅವರು ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು; ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಸಂಕಟಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.
But when they cry unto the Lord when they are in distress, he saveth them out of their afflictions;
14 ಕತ್ತಲೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ, ಮರಣದ ನೆರಳಿನಿಂದಲೂ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದು ಅವರ ಬಂಧನಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
He bringeth them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and teareth their bands asunder.
15 ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ದೇವರು ಮಾನವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಕೊಂಡಾಡಲಿ.
They [therefore] shall give thanks unto the Lord for his kindness, and [proclaim] his wonders to the children of men!
16 ದೇವರು ಕಂಚಿನ ಕದಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಅಗುಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
For he hath broken the doors of copper, and the bolts of iron hath he hewn asunder.—
17 ಮೂಢರು ತಮ್ಮ ದ್ರೋಹದಿಂದಲೂ ಕೆಲವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಶ್ರಮೆ ಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Fools, because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
18 ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೂ ಅಸಹ್ಯಪಡುವಷ್ಟು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಮರಣದ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮೀಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
All manner of food their soul abhorreth; and they draw near unto the gates of death;
19 ಆಗ ಅವರು ಸಹ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೂಗಿದರು; ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಸಂಕಟಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.
But when they cry unto the Lord when they are in distress, he saveth them out of their afflictions.
20 ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿದರು; ನಾಶನದಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
He sendeth his word and healeth them, and delivereth them from their graves.
21 ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಕುಂದದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಅವರು ಮಾನವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಕೊಂಡಾಡಲಿ.
They [therefore] shall give thanks unto the Lord for his kindness, and [proclaim] his wonders to the children of men!
22 ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ದೇವರ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಸಾರಲಿ.
They shall also sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and relate his deeds with joyful song.—
23 ಕೆಲವರು ಹಡಗುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಜಲರಾಶಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಮಾಡುವವರು,
They who go down to the sea in ships, who do business on great waters; —
24 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅಗಾಧ ಜಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಾರೆ.
These have seen the works of the Lord, and his wonders on the deep.
25 ದೇವರು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು; ಅದು ಅದರ ತೆರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿತು.
For he spoke, and he raised the stormy wind, which lifteth up its waves.
26 ಅವರು ಆಕಾಶದವರೆಗೆ ಏರುತ್ತಾರೆ, ತಿರುಗಿ ಅಗಾಧಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಇಳಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅಪಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಕಳವಳದಿಂದ ಕರಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.
They would mount up to heaven, they would go down to the depths: their soul was melted because of their danger.
27 ಅವರು ಅತ್ತಿತ್ತ ತೂಗಾಡಿ ಕುಡುಕರಂತೆ ಓಲಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಜ್ಞಾನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮುಗಿದು ಹೋಯಿತು.
They would reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and all their wisdom was exhausted.
28 ಆಗ ಅವರು ಸಹ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟರು; ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಸಂಕಟಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು.
And they cried unto the Lord when they were in distress, and he brought them out of their afflictions.
29 ದೇವರು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಶಾಂತ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅದರ ತೆರೆಗಳು ನಿಂತುಹೋದವು.
He calmed the storm into a whisper, and stilled were the waves of the sea.
30 ಅವು ಶಾಂತವಾದಾಗ ಜನರು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ ಬಂದರಿಗೆ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
And they were rejoiced because they were silent: and then he guided them unto their desired haven.
31 ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಅವರು ಮಾನವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಕೊಂಡಾಡಲಿ.
They [therefore] shall give thanks unto the Lord for his kindness, and [proclaim] his wonders to the children of men!
32 ಜನರ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಲಿ, ಹಿರಿಯರ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲಿ.
And they must exalt him in the congregation of the people, and in the assembly of the elders must they praise him.—
33 ದೇವರು ನದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದರು, ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಹಗೊಂಡ ಭೂಮಿಯಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
He changeth rivers into a wilderness, and water-springs into parched ground;
34 ದೇವರು ಫಲವುಳ್ಳ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಜರಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲ ಕಾರಣ ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವೇ ಆಗಿತ್ತು.
A fruitful land into a salty waste, for the wickedness of those that dwell therein.
35 ದೇವರು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ನೀರಿನ ಕೆರೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ, ಒಣ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
He changeth the wilderness into a pool of water, and desert land into water-springs.
36 ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಹಸಿದವರನ್ನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ನಾಡಿಗೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು; ಆ ಜನರು ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದರು.
And there he causeth to dwell the hungry, that they may found an inhabited city;
37 ಅವರು ಹೊಲಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಿ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಬಳ್ಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟರು; ಅವು ಹುಟ್ಟುವಳಿಯ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವವು.
And they sow fields, and plant vineyards, that they may yield the fruits of the [annual] product.
38 ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅವರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದರು; ದೇವರು ದನಗಳು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
He also blesseth them, and they multiply greatly, and he suffereth not their cattle to diminish.
39 ಆದರೆ ಜನರು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿ ಚಿಂತೆ ಸಂಕಟದಿಂದ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋದರು.
They were also diminished and bowed low through oppression, misfortune, and sorrow:
40 ದೇವರು ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಸ್ತನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ದಾರಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
He [then] poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in a pathless wilderness.
41 ಆದರೂ ದೇವರು ಬಡವನನ್ನು ಸಂಕಟದಿಂದ ಉನ್ನತಕ್ಕೇರಿಸಿ, ಅವನ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ಮಂದೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
And he exalteth the needy from misery, and maketh [his] families like flocks.
42 ನೀತಿವಂತರು ನೋಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವರು; ಆದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಾರರು ಬಾಯಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
The righteous shall see it, and rejoice; but all wickedness shall stop her mouth.
43 ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಲಿ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.
Whoever is wise, let him observe these things, and let [all] understand the kindness of the Lord.
