ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 106
1 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಅವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರು. ಅವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord because he is good, for his mercie endureth for euer.
2 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿರಿ, ದೇವರನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯ?
Who can expresse the noble actes of the Lord, or shewe forth all his prayse?
3 ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಸರಿಯಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು.
Blessed are they that keepe iudgement, and doe righteousnesse at all times.
4 ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜನರ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದರ್ಶಿಸಿರಿ.
Remember me, O Lord, with the fauour of thy people: visite me with thy saluation,
5 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾನು ನೀವು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡವರ ಸುಖವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜನರ ಸಂತೋಷದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಕೀಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
That I may see the felicitie of thy chosen, and reioyce in the ioy of thy people, and glorie with thine inheritance.
6 ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಂತೆ ನಾವು ಕೂಡಾ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಅಕ್ರಮ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ದುಷ್ಟಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
We haue sinned with our fathers: we haue committed iniquitie, and done wickedly.
7 ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಿಗೆ ಲಕ್ಷಕೊಡದೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕರುಣಾತಿಶಯವನ್ನು ನೆನಸದೆ, ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಕೆಂಪುಸಮುದ್ರದ ಹತ್ತಿರ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದರು.
Our fathers vnderstoode not thy wonders in Egypt, neither remembred they the multitude of thy mercies, but rebelled at the Sea, euen at the red sea.
8 ಆದರೂ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಹಾಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.
Neuerthelesse he saued them for his Names sake, that he might make his power to be knowen.
9 ದೇವರು ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಲು, ಅದು ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಯಿತು; ಹೀಗೆ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ಹೋದಂತೆ ಜಲಾಗಾಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
And he rebuked the red Sea, and it was dryed vp, and he led them in the deepe, as in the wildernesse.
10 ವೈರಿಯ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು, ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
And he saued them from ye aduersaries hand, and deliuered them from ye hand of the enemie.
11 ಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳು ಅವರ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟವು, ವೈರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And the waters couered their oppressours: not one of them was left.
12 ಆಗ ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಬಿ, ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು.
Then beleeued they his wordes, and sang prayse vnto him.
13 ಆದರೆ ಬೇಗನೇ ದೇವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ದೇವರ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ಕಾದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋದರು.
But incontinently they forgate his workes: they wayted not for his counsell,
14 ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದುರಾಶೆಯಿಂದ ಆಶಿಸಿ, ಹಾಳು ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.
But lusted with concupiscence in the wildernes, and tempted God in the desert.
15 ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯಂತೆಯೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಭೀಕರ ರೋಗವನ್ನು ಸಹ ಅನುಮತಿಸಿದರು.
Then he gaue them their desire: but he sent leannesse into their soule.
16 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತನಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಕಿಚ್ಚುಪಟ್ಟರು.
They enuied Moses also in the tentes, and Aaron the holy one of the Lord.
17 ಆಗ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಾಯಿತೆರೆದು ದಾತಾನನನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿ, ಅಬೀರಾಮನ ಗುಂಪನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು.
Therefore the earth opened and swallowed vp Dathan, and couered the companie of Abiram.
18 ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅವರ ಗುಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉರಿದು, ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟಿತು.
And the fire was kindled in their assembly: the flame burnt vp the wicked.
19 ಅವರು ಹೋರೇಬಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಕದ ಕರುವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ಆ ವಿಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದರು.
They made a calfe in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
20 ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಲ್ಲು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಎತ್ತಿನ ರೂಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
Thus they turned their glory into the similitude of a bullocke, that eateth grasse.
21 ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬೇಗ ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟರು. ಹೌದು, ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ,
They forgate God their Sauiour, which had done great things in Egypt,
22 ಹಾಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಕೆಂಪುಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿಶಯವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
Wonderous woorkes in the lande of Ham, and fearefull things by the red Sea.
23 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೇವರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪೂರ್ಣದಂಡನೆ ಕೊಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡ ಮೋಶೆಯು, ದೇವರ ಕಠಿಣ ತೀರ್ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಶಾಂತಪಡಿಸಲು ಆಪತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡನು.
Therefore he minded to destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stand in the breach before him to turne away his wrath, least he shoulde destroy them.
24 ಹೌದು, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಮನೋಹರವಾದ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೀನೈಸಿ, ದೇವರ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನಂಬದೆ ಹೋದರು.
Also they contemned that pleasant land, and beleeued not his worde,
25 ತಮ್ಮ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗೊಣಗುಟ್ಟಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳದೆ ಹೋದರು.
But murmured in their tentes, and hearkened not vnto the voice of the Lord.
26 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಅವರ ಸಂತತಿಯರು ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ
Therefore hee lifted vp his hande against them, to destroy them in the wildernesse,
27 ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಯಿತು.
And to destroy their seede among the nations, and to scatter them throughout the countries.
28 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಬಾಳ್ ಪೆಯೋರನ ದೇವತೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು; ಜೀವವಿಲ್ಲದ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದರು.
They ioyned themselues also vnto Baalpeor, and did eate the offrings of the dead.
29 ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿತು.
Thus they prouoked him vnto anger with their owne inuentions, and the plague brake in vpon them.
30 ಆಗ ಫೀನೆಹಾಸನು ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದು ದಂಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ವ್ಯಾಧಿ ನಿಂತುಹೋಯಿತು.
But Phinehas stoode vp, and executed iudgement, and the plague was staied.
31 ಇದು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ, ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಫೀನೆಹಾಸನಿಗೆ ನೀತಿ ಎಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
And it was imputed vnto him for righteousnes from generation to generation for euer.
32 ಮೆರೀಬಾದ ನೀರಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಬಂತು.
They angred him also at the waters of Meribah, so that Moses was punished for their sakes,
33 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ದೇವರ ಆತ್ಮನಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಮೋಶೆ ದುಡುಕಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.
Because they vexed his spirite, so that hee spake vnaduisedly with his lippes.
34 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಜನಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ದಂಡಿಸದೆ ಹೋದರು.
Neither destroied they the people, as the Lord had commanded them,
35 ಆದರೆ ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅವರ ಪದ್ಧತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತುಕೊಂಡರು.
But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their workes,
36 ಅವರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು; ಅವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉರುಲಿನಂತಾದವು.
And serued their idoles, which were their ruine.
37 ತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ, ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಸುಳ್ಳು ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
Yea, they offered their sonnes, and their daughters vnto deuils,
38 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನಿರಪರಾಧದ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿ, ಕಾನಾನಿನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ದೇಶವನ್ನು ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
And shed innocent blood, euen the blood of their sonnes, and of their daughters, whome they offred vnto the idoles of Canaan, and the lande was defiled with blood.
39 ಹೀಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ದುರಾಚಾರಿಗಳಾದರು.
Thus were they steined with their owne woorkes, and went a whoring with their owne inuentions.
40 ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಹು ಬೇಸರಗೊಂಡರು. ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಾರಸುದಾರರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಸಂತೋಷಗೊಂಡು,
Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, and he abhorred his owne inheritance.
41 ಅವರನ್ನು ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರ ವೈರಿಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಳಿದರು.
And hee gaue them into the hande of the heathen: and they that hated them, were lordes ouer them.
42 ಅವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಾಧೆಪಡಿಸಿದರು; ಅವರ ಕೈಕೆಳಗೆ ಅವರು ಅಧೀನರಾದರು.
Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were humbled vnder their hand.
43 ಅನೇಕ ಸಾರಿ ದೇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದರು, ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿಬೀಳುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದರು; ತಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮದಿಂದಲೇ ಅವರು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋದರು;
Many a time did hee deliuer them, but they prouoked him by their counsels: therefore they were brought downe by their iniquitie.
44 ಆದರೂ ಅವರ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟು,
Yet hee sawe when they were in affliction, and he heard their crie.
45 ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ತಮ್ಮ ಅತಿಶಯವಾದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ,
And he remembred his couenant towarde them and repented according to the multitude of his mercies,
46 ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದವರ ಕರುಣೆ ತೋರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
And gaue them fauour in the sight of all them that lead them captiues.
47 ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯಘೋಷ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ.
Saue vs, O Lord our God, and gather vs from among the heathen, that we may praise thine holy Name, and glorie in thy praise.
48 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ತುತಿಯುಂಟಾಗಲಿ. ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ, “ಆಮೆನ್!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಿ. ನೀವು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ.
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for euer and euer, and let all the people say, So be it. Praise yee the Lord.
