ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 105
1 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಅವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳಿರಿ; ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿರಿ.
Give ye thanks to Yahweh, Call upon his Name, Make known, among the peoples, his doings;
2 ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹಾಡಿರಿ, ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ ಹಾಡಿರಿ; ದೇವರ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರಿ.
Sing ye to him, Make ye music to him, Speak ye of all his wonders.
3 ದೇವರ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳಿರಿ; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರ ಹೃದಯವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಲಿ.
Make your boast in his holy Name, Joyful be the heart of them who are seeking Yahweh.
4 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿರಿ, ಅವರ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ.
Search out Yahweh and his strength, Seek diligently his face at all times.
5 ದೇವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ನ್ಯಾಯ ನಿರ್ಣಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
Remember his wonders which he hath done, His portents, and the just decisions of his mouth.
6 ದೇವರ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಂತತಿಯೇ, ಅವರು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ,
O ye Seed of Abraham—his servants, Sons of Jacob—his chosen ones:
7 ಅವರೇ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇವೆ.
Yahweh himself, is our God, Through all the land, are his just decision.
8 ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಸಾವಿರ ತಲಾಂತರಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾತನ್ನೂ,
He hath remembered, unto times age-abiding, his covenant, The word he commanded, to a thousand generations;
9 ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ಆಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Which he solemnised with Abraham, and his oath, to Isaac;
10 ದೇವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ತೀರ್ಪನ್ನಾಗಿ ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿದರು; ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ನಿತ್ಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
And confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel, as a covenant age-abiding;
11 “ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯ ಪಾಲಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.”
Saying, To thee, will I give the land of Canaan, As your inherited portion;
12 ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರೂ, ಬಹು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ, ಪರದೇಶಸ್ಥರಾಗಿಯೂ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು.
While as yet they were men easily counted, —A very few, and sojourners therein;
13 ಅವರು ಜನಾಂಗದಿಂದ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೂ ಒಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬೇರೊಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
And they wandered from nation to nation, From a kingdom, to another people.
14 ಜನರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡದಂತೆ ದೇವರು ತಡೆದರು. ಹೌದು, ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೇವರು ಅರಸರನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು:
He suffered no son of earth to oppress them, And reproved—for their sakes—[even] kings!
15 “ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಬೇಡಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.”
Ye may not touch mine Anointed ones, And, to my Prophets, may ye do no wrong.
16 ದೇವರು ಕ್ಷಾಮವನ್ನು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಮತಿಸಿದರು. ಆಹಾರದ ಒದಗುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
Then called he a famine over the land, All the staff of bread, he brake;
17 ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು. ಅವನೇ ದಾಸನಾಗಿ ಮಾರಲಾದ ಯೋಸೇಫನು.
He sent before them a man, For a slave, was he sold—[even] Joseph;
18 ಸಂಕೋಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನ ಕಾಲನ್ನು ನೋಯಿಸಿದರು; ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಬೇಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿದರು.
They forced, into a fetter, his foot, Into the iron, entered his soul;
19 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂತಿಳಿಸಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನೆರವೇರುವವರೆಗೆ ಅವನು ದೇವರ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದ ಪರಿಶೋಧಿತನಾದನು.
Until the time when his word came to pass, Speech of Yahweh, proved him;
20 ಅರಸನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು. ಹೌದು, ಜನಗಳ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಿಂದ ಅವನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾದನು.
The king sent, and set him free, One having dominion over peoples, yet loosed he his bonds;
21 ಅರಸನು ಅವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಯಜಮಾನನಾಗಿಯೂ, ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ,
He appointed him lord to his household, And one having dominion over all he possessed;
22 ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ತನ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಯೋಸೇಫನನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.
That he might bind his rulers as he pleased, And, his elders, he might embue with wisdom.
23 ಅನಂತರ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು; ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಹಾಮನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರದೇಶಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
So Israel came into Egypt, And, Jacob, sojourned in the land of Ham;
24 ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ವೈರಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಟರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
And he made his people exceeding fruitful, —And caused them to become stronger than their adversaries.
25 ತಮ್ಮ ಜನರನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ನಡೆಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದನು.
He let them turn their heart—To hate his people, To deal treacherously with his servants;
26 ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕ ಮೋಶೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡ ಆರೋನನನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
He sent Moses his servant, Aaron, whom he had chosen.
27 ಇವರು ದೇವರ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಹಾಮನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.
He set among them his threatening signs, And his wonders, in the land of Ham;
28 ದೇವರು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕತ್ತಲು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ದೇವರ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟನವರು ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲವೇ?
He sent darkness, and made it dark, But they rebelled against his words;
29 ದೇವರು ಅವರ ನೀರನ್ನು ರಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಮೀನುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದರು.
He turned their waters into blood, And so caused their fish to die;
30 ಅವರ ದೇಶವು ಕಪ್ಪೆಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಿತು; ಅವರ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಅವು ನುಗ್ಗಿದವು.
Their land swarmed with frogs, In the chambers of their kings!
31 ದೇವರು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಲು ನೊಣದ ಗುಂಪುಗಳೂ, ಅವರ ಮೇರೆಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇನುಗಳೂ ಬಂದವು.
He spake, and there came in the gad-fly, Gnats, in all their bounds;
32 ದೇವರು ಕಲ್ಮಳೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಅಗ್ನಿ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿದರು.
He made their showers—hail, A fire flaming throughout their land;
33 ಅವರ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಬಳ್ಳಿ, ಅಂಜೂರದ ಗಿಡಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಮೇರೆಗಳ ಮರಗಳು ಮುರಿದು ಬಿದ್ದವು.
And he smote their vines, and their fig-trees, And brake in pieces the trees of their bounds;
34 ದೇವರು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಲು ಮಿಡತೆಗಳೂ, ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಂಬಳಿ ಹುಳುಗಳೂ ಬಂದವು.
He spake—then came the swarming locust, —The devouring locust, and that without number;
35 ಅವು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟವು; ಅವರ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ತಿಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟವು.
And devoured all the herbage in their land, And devoured the fruit of their ground.
36 ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಮುಖರೂ ದೇವರ ಬಾಧೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾದರು.
Then smote he every firstborn in their land, The beginning of all their strength;
37 ದೇವರು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಹೀನನಾದ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Thus brought he them forth, with silver and gold, Nor was there, throughout his tribes, one that faltered;
38 ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿತು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನವರಿಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೆದರಿಕೆ ಇತ್ತು.
Egypt rejoiced when they went out, For the dread of them had fallen upon them.
39 ದೇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ನೆರಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮೇಘವನ್ನೂ, ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನೂ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
He spread out a cloud as a covering, And fire, to give light by night,
40 ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ದೇವರು ಲಾವಕ್ಕಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿ, ಪರಲೋಕದ ಆಹಾರದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
They asked, and he brought in the quail, —And, with the bread of the heavens, he satisfied them;
41 ದೇವರು ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಲು ನೀರು ಹೊರಟಿತು; ಅದು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನದಿಯಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯಿತು.
He opened the rock, and there gushed forth waters, They flowed along, through parched places, as a river;
42 ಹೀಗೆ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ವಾಗ್ದಾನವನ್ನೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
For he remembered his holy word, With Abraham his servant.
43 ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆನಂದದಿಂದಲೂ, ತಾವು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡವರನ್ನು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊರತಂದರು.
Thus brought he forth his people with gladness, —With shouts of triumph, his chosen ones;
44 ದೇವರು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಇತರರ ಕಷ್ಟಾರ್ಜಿತವನ್ನು ತಮಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
And gave them, the lands of the nations, And, of the toil of the peoples, took they possession:
45 ದೇವರ ಸೂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡು, ಅವರ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಕಾಯಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದಲೇ ಹೀಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆಯಿತು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ.
In order that they might observe his statutes, And, over his laws, might keep watch, Praise ye Yah.
