ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 1

1 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ನಂತರದ ಎರಡನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ಎರಡನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದೊಳಗೆ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು:

And the Lord spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after their going out of the land of Egypt, saying,

2 “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನಸಮೂಹದ ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನು ಗೋತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಎಣಿಸಬೇಕು.

Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, every male according to their polls;

3 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸತಕ್ಕವರನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ, ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸೈನ್ಯಸೈನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನನು ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: these shall ye number according to their armies, thou and Aaron.

4 ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಗೋತ್ರದ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕನಾಗಿರಲಿ.

And with you there shall be one man each of every tribe; a man who is the head of his family division.

5 “ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಪುರುಷರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು: “ರೂಬೇನ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಿಂದ ಶೆದೇಯೂರನ ಮಗ ಎಲೀಚೂರ್,

And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you; of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.

6 ಸಿಮೆಯೋನ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಿಂದ ಚುರೀಷದ್ದೈಯನ ಮಗ ಶೆಲುಮೀಯೇಲ್,

Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

7 ಯೆಹೂದ ಗೋತ್ರದಿಂದ ಅಮ್ಮೀನಾದಾಬನ ಮಗ ನಹಶೋನ್,

Of Judah: Nachshon the son of 'Amminadab.

8 ಇಸ್ಸಾಕರ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಿಂದ ಚೂವಾರನ ಮಗ ನೆತನೆಯೇಲ್,

Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.

9 ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಿಂದ ಹೇಲೋನನ ಮಗ ಎಲೀಯಾಬ್,

Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Chelon.

10 ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್‌ನಿಂದ ಅಮ್ಮೀಹೂದನ ಮಗ ಎಲೀಷಾಮಾ, ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಗೋತ್ರದಿಂದ ಪೆದಾಚೂರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗಮಲಿಯೇಲ್,

Of the children of Joseph, of Ephraim: Elishama the son of 'Ammihud; of Menasseh: Gamliel the son of Pedahzur.

11 ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಿಂದ ಗಿದ್ಯೋನಿನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬೀದಾನ,

Of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gidoni.

12 ದಾನ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಿಂದ ಅಮ್ಮೀಷದ್ದೈಯನ ಮಗ ಅಹೀಗೆಜೆರ್,

Of Dan: Achiezer the son of 'Ammishaddai.

13 ಆಶೇರ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಿಂದ ಒಕ್ರಾನನ ಮಗ ಪಗೀಯೇಲ್,

Of Asher: Pagiel the son of 'Ochran.

14 ಗಾದ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಿಂದ ದೆವುಯೇಲನ ಮಗ ಎಲ್ಯಾಸಾಫ್,

Of Gad: Elyassaph the son of Deuel.

15 ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ ಗೋತ್ರದಿಂದ ಏನಾನನ ಮಗ ಅಹೀರನು.”

Of Naphtali: Achira the son of 'Enan.

16 ಇವರು ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ನೇಮಕವಾದವರು. ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪುರಾತನ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ನಾಯಕರು. ಇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಮುಖರು.

These were the selected of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; the heads of the thousands of Israel were they.

17 ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಸೂಚಿತರಾದ ಈ ಪುರುಷರನ್ನು ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನನು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.

And Moses and Aaron took these men who are expressed by name:

18 ಎರಡನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪುರುಷರನ್ನೂ ಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಗೋತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯನ್ನು ನೊಂದಾಯಿಸಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.

And all the congregation they assembled together on the first day of the second month, and they were enrolled in the lists of their pedigrees after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, according to their polls.

19 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಮೋಶೆ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಗಣತಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

As the Lord had commanded Moses, so did he number them in the wilderness of Sinai.

20 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗ ರೂಬೇನನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಪುರುಷರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರು ಗೋತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಲಾದರು.

And there were of the children of Reuben the first-born of Israel, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

21 ರೂಬೇನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರು 46,500 ಜನರು.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.

22 ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಪುರುಷರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರು ಗೋತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಲಾದರು.

Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, those that were numbered of them, by numbering the names according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

23 ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರು 59,300 ಜನರು.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.

24 ಗಾದನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಪುರುಷರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರು ಗೋತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಲಾದರು.

Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

25 ಗಾದನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರು 45,650 ಜನರು.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.

26 ಯೆಹೂದ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಪುರುಷರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರು ಗೋತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಲಾದರು.

Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

27 ಯೆಹೂದ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರು 74,600 ಜನರು.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Judah, were seventy and four thousand and six hundred.

28 ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಪುರುಷರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರು ಗೋತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಲಾದರು.

Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

29 ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರು 54,400 ಜನರು.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.

30 ಜೆಬುಲೂನನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಪುರುಷರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರು ಗೋತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಲಾದರು.

Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

31 ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರು 57,400 ಜನರು.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.

32 ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಪುರುಷರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರು ಗೋತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಲಾದರು.

Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war.

33 ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರು 40,500 ಜನರು.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.

34 ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಪುರುಷರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರು ಗೋತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಲಾದರು.

Of the children of Menasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

35 ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರು 32,200 ಜನರು.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Menasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.

36 ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಪುರುಷರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರು ಗೋತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಲಾದರು.

Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

37 ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರು 35,400 ಜನರು.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.

38 ದಾನನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಪುರುಷರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರು ಗೋತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಲಾದರು.

Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

39 ದಾನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರು 62,700 ಜನರು.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Dan, were sixty and two thousand and seven hundred.

40 ಆಶೇರನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಪುರುಷರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರು ಗೋತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಲಾದರು.

Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

41 ಆಶೇರನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರು 41,500 ಜನರು.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.

42 ನಫ್ತಾಲಿಯ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಪುರುಷರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರು ಗೋತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಲಾದರು.

Of the children of Naphtali, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

43 ನಫ್ತಾಲಿಯ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರು 53,400 ಜನರು.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

44 ಮೋಶೆ, ಆರೋನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ನಾಯಕರು ಲೆಕ್ಕಮಾಡಿದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಜನರು ಇವರೇ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

These are those that were numbered, whom Moses numbered with Aaron, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men; one man each for his family division were they.

45 ಹೀಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷದವರೂ, ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳವರೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾದವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.

Thus were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the descent from their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel, —

46 ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದವರು ಒಟ್ಟು 6,03,550 ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

Even all they that were numbered, were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

47 ಲೇವಿಯರ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಗೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಇತರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಎಣಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

But the Levites, after the tribe of their fathers, were not numbered among them.

48 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:

For the Lord had spoken unto Moses, saying,

49 “ನೀವು ಲೇವಿಯ ಕುಲವನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಬಾರದು ಅಥವಾ ಇತರ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಜನಗಣತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಬಾರದು.

Only the tribe of Levi shalt thou not number, and their sum shalt thou not take, among the children of Israel;

50 ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಲಕರಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸು. ಅವರು ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಲಕರಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಅದರ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿ, ಗುಡಾರದ ಸುತ್ತುಮುತ್ತಲೂ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all things that belong to it: they shall carry the tabernacle, and all its vessels; and they shall minister unto it; and round about the tabernacle shall they encamp.

51 ದೇವದರ್ಶನ ಗುಡಾರವು ಹೊರಡುವಾಗ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಲಿ. ಗುಡಾರವು ಇಳಿಯುವಾಗ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲಿ. ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಸಾಯಬೇಕು.

And when the tabernacle is to be carried forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

52 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ದಂಡಿನ ಧ್ವಜದ ಬಳಿ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their armies.

53 ಆದರೆ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಹೀಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಭೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಿರದು. ಲೇವಿಯರು ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರ ಕಾಯುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.”

But the Levites shall encamp round shout the tabernacle of the testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.

54 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು.

And the children of Israel did so: all, just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so did they.
