ನೆಹೆಮೀಯನು 12
1 ಶೆಯಲ್ತಿಯೇಲನ ಮಗ ಜೆರುಬ್ಬಾಬೆಲನ ಮತ್ತು ಯೇಷೂವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋದ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಸೆರಾಯ, ಯೆರೆಮೀಯ, ಎಜ್ರ,
Now, these, are the priests and the Levites, who came up with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua, —Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra;
2 ಅಮರ್ಯ, ಮಲ್ಲೂಕ್, ಹಟ್ಟೂಷ್,
Amariah, Malluch, Hattush;
3 ಶೆಕನ್ಯ, ರೆಹೂಮ್, ಮೆರೇಮೋತ್,
Shecaniah, Rehum, Meremoth;
4 ಇದ್ದೋ, ಗಿನ್ನೆತೋನ್, ಅಬೀಯ,
Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah;
5 ಮಿಯಾಮಿನ್, ಮಾದ್ಯ, ಬಿಲ್ಗ,
Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah;
6 ಶೆಮಾಯ, ಯೋಯಾರೀಬ್, ಯೆದಾಯ,
Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah;
7 ಸಲ್ಲೂ, ಆಮೋಕ್, ಹಿಲ್ಕೀಯ, ಯೆದಾಯ. ಇವರು ಯೇಷೂವನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಜಕರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡಿಗರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah, —these, were the chiefs of the priests and their brethren, in the days of Jeshua.
8 ಲೇವಿಯರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಯೇಷೂವ, ಬಿನ್ನೂಯ್, ಕದ್ಮಿಯೇಲ್, ಶೇರೇಬ್ಯ, ಯೆಹೂದ, ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯ ಹಾಡುಗಳ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮತ್ತನ್ಯನೂ, ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡಿಗರು.
And, the Levites, Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah, —over the choirs, he and his brethren;
9 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಬಕ್ಬುಕ್ಯ, ಉನ್ನೀ ವರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎದುರುಗಡೆ ನಿಂತು ಹಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
and Bakbukiah and Unno their brethren, were over against them, in wards.
10 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೇಷೂವನು ಯೋಯಾಕೀಮನ ತಂದೆ, ಯೋಯಾಕೀಮನು ಎಲ್ಯಷೀಬನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು; ಎಲ್ಯಾಷೀಬನು ಯೋಯಾದನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು;
And Jeshua, begat Joiakim, —and Joiakim, begat Eliashib, and, Eliashib, [begat] Joiada;
11 ಯೋಯಾದಾವನು ಯೋನಾತಾನನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು; ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ಯದ್ದೂವನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು.
and, Joiada, begat Jonathan, —and, Jonathan, begat Jaddua.
12 ಯೋಯಾಕೀಮನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪಿತೃಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಯಾಜಕರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಸೆರಾಯನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಮೆರಾಯನು, ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಹನನ್ಯಯನು,
And, in the days of Joiakim, were priests, ancestral chiefs, —of Seraiah, Meraiah, of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
13 ಎಜ್ರನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಮೆಷುಲ್ಲಾಮನು, ಅಮರ್ಯನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಹಾನಾನನು,
of Ezra, Meshullam, —of Amariah, Jehohanan;
14 ಮಲ್ಲೂಕಿಯ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಯೋನಾತಾನನು, ಶೆಬನ್ಯನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಯೋಸೇಫನು,
of Malluchi, Jonathan, —of Shebaniah, Joseph;
15 ಹಾರಿಮನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಅದ್ನನು, ಮೆರಾಯೋತನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಹೆಲ್ಕಾಯನು,
of Harim, Adna, —of Meraioth, Helkai;
16 ಇದ್ದೋವಿನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನು, ಗಿನ್ನೆತೋನನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಮೆಷುಲ್ಲಾಮನು,
of Iddo, Zechariah, —of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17 ಅಬೀಯನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಜಿಕ್ರಿಯು, ಮಿನ್ಯಾಮೀನನ, ಮೋವಾದ್ಯನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಪಿಲ್ಟೈ,
of Abijah, Zichri, —of Miniamin, of Moadiah, Piltai;
18 ಬಿಲ್ಗನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಶಮ್ಮೂವನು, ಶೆಮಾಯನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಯೆಹೋನಾತಾನನು,
of Bilgah, Shammua, —of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;
19 ಯೋಯಾರೀಬನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಮತ್ತೆನೈ, ಯೆದಾಯನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀ,
and, of Joiarib, Mattenai, —of Jedaiah, Uzzi;
20 ಸಲ್ಲೂ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಕಲ್ಲಾಯನು, ಆಮೋಕನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಏಬೆರನು,
of Sallai, Kallai, —of Amok, Eber;
21 ಹಿಲ್ಕೀಯನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಹಷಬ್ಯನು, ಯೆದಾಯನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ನೆತನೆಯೇಲನು.
of Hilkiah, Hashabiah, —of Jedaiah, Nethanel.
22 ಎಲ್ಯಾಷೀಬ್, ಯೋಯಾದ, ಯೋಹಾನಾನ್, ಯದ್ದೂವ, ಇವರ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ, ಯಾಜಕರೂ, ಪಾರಸಿಯನಾದ ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯವರೆಗೆ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ.
The Levites—in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded as ancestral chiefs, —also the priests, unto the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 ಎಲ್ಯಾಷೀಬನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನಾನನ ಕಾಲದವರೆಗೆ ಲೇವಿ ಎಂಬವನ ಪುತ್ರರಾದ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
the sons of Levi, ancestral heads, were written in the book of Chronicles, —even until the days of Johanan, son of Eliashib.
24 ಲೇವಿಯರ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಹಷಬ್ಯನೂ, ಶೇರೇಬ್ಯನೂ; ಕದ್ಮಿಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಷೂವನೂ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾದ ತಂಡವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತ ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರರೂ, ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗ ವರ್ಗಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
And, the chiefs of the Levites, Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise—to give thanks, by the commandment of David the man of God, —ward joined to ward.
25 ಮತ್ತನ್ಯನೂ, ಬಕ್ಬುಕ್ಯನೂ, ಓಬದ್ಯನೂ, ಮೆಷುಲ್ಲಾಮನೂ, ಟಲ್ಮೋನನೂ, ಅಕ್ಕೂಬನೂ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were watchers, doorkeepers of the ward, in the storehouses of the gates.
26 ಯೋಚಾದಾಕನ ಮಗ ಯೇಷೂವನ ಮಗ ಯೋಯಾಕೀಮನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ; ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲನಾದ ನೆಹೆಮೀಯನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ; ನಿಯಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯೂ, ಯಾಜಕನೂ ಆದ ಎಜ್ರನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇವರು ಇದ್ದರು.
These, were in the days of Joiakim, son of Jeshua, son of Jozadak, —and in the days of Nehemiah the pasha, and Ezra the priest the scribe.
27 ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಸ್ತುತಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ಹಾಡುವುದರಿಂದಲೂ, ತಾಳಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ವೀಣೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಕಿದರು.
And, at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, they sought the Levites, out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, —to keep the dedication and the rejoicing, both with thanksgiving and with music, cymbals, harps, and with lyres.
28 ಹಾಡುಗಾರರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಬಯಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ನೆಟೋಫಾತ್ಯರ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಿಂದಲೂ,
So the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, —both out of the circuit round about Jerusalem, and out of the villages of the Netophathites;
29 ಬೇತ್ ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲ್ ಊರಿಂದಲೂ, ಗೆಬದ ಅಜ್ಮಾವೆತಿನ ಹೊಲಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಹಾಡುಗಾರರು ತಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
also out of Beth-gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba, and Azmaveth, —for, villages, had the singers builded for themselves, round about Jerusalem.
30 ಯಾಜಕರೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಜನರನ್ನೂ, ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, —and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 ಆಗ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನು ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ, ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲು ಎರಡು ಗುಂಪುಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದೆನು. ಒಂದು ಗುಂಪಿನವರು ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಿಂದ ತಿಪ್ಪೆ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
Then brought I up the rulers of Judah upon the wall, —and I appointed two large choirs, even to go in procession to the right, upon the wall, towards the dung-gate;
32 ಅವರ ಹಿಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಷಾಯನೂ, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧ ಜನರೂ,
and after them went Hoshaiah, and half the rulers of Judah;
33 ಅಜರ್ಯನೂ, ಎಜ್ರನೂ, ಮೆಷುಲ್ಲಾಮನೂ,
then Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam;
34 ಯೆಹೂದನೂ, ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನನೂ, ಶೆಮಾಯನೂ, ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನೂ;
Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah;
35 ತುತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಯಾಜಕರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಾಫನ ಮಗ ಜಕ್ಕೂರನ ಮಗ, ಮೀಕಾಯನ ಮಗ, ಮತ್ತನ್ಯನ ಮಗ, ಶೆಮಾಯನ ಮಗ, ಯೋನಾತಾನನ ಮಗ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನೂ,
and, of the sons of the priests, with trumpets, Zechariah—son of Jonathan—son of Shemaiah—son of Mattaniah, son of Micaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph;
36 ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಗೀತವಾದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಜೆಕರೀಯನ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಶೆಮಾಯ, ಅಜರಯೇಲ್, ಮಿಲಲೈ, ಗಿಲಲೈ, ಮಾಯೈ, ನೆತನೆಯೇಲ್, ಯೆಹೂದ, ಹನಾನೀ ಎಂಬವರು ನಡೆದರು; ನಿಯಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯಾದ ಎಜ್ರನು ಇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆದನು.
and his brethren—Shemaiah and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, Hanani, with the instruments of music of David, the man of God, —with Ezra the scribe before them;
37 ತಮಗೆ ಎದುರಾದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಗೋಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲುಗಳಿಂದ ದಾವೀದನ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಪೂರ್ವದ ಕಡೆಗಿರುವ ನೀರಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
and, over they fountain gate and straight before them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, —above the house of David, even as far as the water-gate, eastward.
38 ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಭಜನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಅವರಿಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ನಡೆದರು. ನಾನು ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಡೆದೆನು. ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದ ಅರ್ಧ ಜನರು ಬುರುಜುಗಳ ಗೋಪುರದ ಆಚೆಯಿಂದ ನಡೆದು, ಅಗಲವಾದ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು,
And, the second choir, was going over against them, I, following it, —with the half of the people upon the wall, above the tower of the ovens, even as far as the broad wall;
39 ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಯೆಷಾನಾ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಮೀನು ಬಾಗಿಲ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಹಾದು, ಹನನೇಲ್ ಗೋಪುರವನ್ನೂ, ಶತ ಗೋಪುರವನ್ನೂ ದಾಟಿ, ಕುರಿ ಬಾಗಿಲವರೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತರು.
and above the gate of Ephraim, and upon the old gate, and upon the fish-gate, and the tower of Hananel, and the tower of Hammeah, even as far as the sheep-gate, —and they came to a stand, at the gate of the guard.
40 ಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಎರಡು ಗುಂಪುಗಳೂ, ನಾನೂ, ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಅರ್ಧಮಂದಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೂ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದೆವು.
So the two choirs, came to a stand, at the house of God, —and I, and half the deputies with me;
41 ಆಗ ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಎಲ್ಯಾಕೀಮನೂ, ಮಾಸೇಯನೂ, ಮಿನ್ಯಾಮೀನನೂ, ಮೀಕಾಯನೂ, ಎಲ್ಯೋವೇನೈನೂ, ಜೆಕರ್ಯನೂ, ಹನನ್ಯನೂ, ತುತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡವರೂ;
and, the priests—Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;
42 ಮಾಸೇಯನೂ, ಶೆಮಾಯನೂ, ಎಲಿಯಾಜರನೂ, ಉಜ್ಜೀಯೂ, ಯೆಹೋಹಾನಾನನೂ, ಮಲ್ಕೀಯನೂ, ಏಲಾಮನೂ, ಏಜೆರನೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನಾದ ಯೆಜ್ರಾಹ್ಯನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹಾಡುಗಾರರು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಿದರು.
and Maaseiah and Shemaiah and Eleazar and Uzzi and Jehohanan and Malchijah and Elam and Ezer, —and the musicians sounded, aloud with Jezrahiah who was over them.
43 ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಹಾ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಲು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಡದಿಮಕ್ಕಳೂಡನೆ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಸಂತೋಷ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ಬಹು ದೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು.
And they sacrificed, on that day, great sacrifices, and rejoiced, for, God, had caused them to rejoice with great joy, moreover also, the women and children, rejoiced, —so that the rejoicing of Jerusalem was heard afar off.
44 ಅದೇ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಮೋಶೆಯ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನೇಮಕವಾದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಹೊಲಗಳಿಂದ ಬರಬೇಕಾದ ಪಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಪ್ರಥಮ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ಪಾಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇರಿಸುವ ಉಗ್ರಾಣಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಾರುಪತ್ಯಗಾರರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿತು ಯೆಹೂದದವರು ಬಹು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು.
And there were set in charge, on that day, certain men, over the chambers for the treasures, for the heave-offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, out of the fields of the cities, the portions appointed by the law, for the priests, and for the Levites, —for, the joy of Judah, was over the priests and over the Levites, who were remaining.
45 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾವೀದನೂ, ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹಾಡುಗಾರರೂ, ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಕಾವಲನ್ನೂ, ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಣದ ಕಾವಲನ್ನೂ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
So they kept the charge of their God, and the charge of the purification, and [so did] the singers and the doorkeepers, —according to the commandment of David and of Solomon his son.
46 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದಾವೀದನ ಮತ್ತು ಆಸಾಫನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನೂ, ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಡುಗಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಿದ್ದರು.
For, in the days of David and Asaph, of old, there were chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving, unto God.
47 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಜೆರುಬ್ಬಾಬೆಲನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನೆಹೆಮೀಯನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರು ಹಾಡುಗಾರರಿಗೂ, ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಿಗೂ, ನಿತ್ಯದ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯಾದ ಅವರವರ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ಇತರ ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿಟ್ಟರು ಮತ್ತು ಲೇವಿಯರು ಆರೋನನ ವಂಶಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿಟ್ಟರು.
