1 ಮುದ್ರೆ ಹಾಕಿದವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಹಕಲ್ಯನ ಮಗ ನೆಹೆಮೀಯನು. ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯ,

9 ಲೇವಿಯರು: ಅಜನ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಷೂವ, ಹೇನಾದಾದ್ ಎಂಬವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿನ್ನೂಯ್, ಕದ್ಮಿಯೇಲ್,
And the Levites: Jeshua' the son of Azanyah, Binnui [[of]] the sons of Chenadad, Kadmiel;
10 ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡಿಗರಾದ ಶೆಬನ್ಯ, ಹೋದೀಯ, ಕೆಲೀಟ, ಪೆಲಾಯ, ಹಾನಾನ್,
And their brethren, Shebanyah, Hodiyah, Kelita, Palayah, Chanan,
11 ಮೀಕ, ರೆಹೋಬ್, ಹಷಬ್ಯ,
Micha, Rechob, Chashabyah,
12 ಜಕ್ಕೂರ್, ಶೇರೇಬ್ಯ, ಶೆಬನ್ಯ,

28 ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರೂ, ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರೂ, ಹಾಡುಗಾರರೂ, ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸೇವಕರೂ, ದೇವರ ನಿಯಮದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಆ ದೇಶಗಳ ಜನರೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ, ಅವರ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರೂ, ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರರೂ, ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರೂ, ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯೂ ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆಯೂ ಉಳ್ಳವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ,
And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gate-keepers, the singers, the temple-servants, and all those that had separated themselves from the nations of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding,
29 ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ತಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ದೇವರ ಸೇವಕ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದೇವರ ನಿಯಮದಂತೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತೇವೆಂದೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆಂದೂ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಹೀಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು;
Held firmly with their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in the law of God, which was given through means of Moses the servant of God, and to observe and to do all the commandments of the Eternal One, our Lord, and his ordinances and his statutes;
30 ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರನ್ನು ಇತರ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ನಮ್ಮ ಪುತ್ರರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಆಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
And that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons;
31 ಬೇರೆ ದೇಶದ ಜನರು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಕುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಧಾನ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಮಾರಲು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರೆ, ನಾವು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಾದರೂ, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಅವರಿಂದ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಮತ್ತು ನಾವು ಏಳನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಲಗಳನ್ನು ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
And that if the people of the land should bring wares or any provisions on the sabbath day to sell, we would not buy of them on the sabbath, or on [another] holy day; and that we would leave [the fields without reaping in] the seventh year, and [give up] every loan of hand.
32 ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ 4 ಗ್ರಾಂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.
And we established for us as one of the commandments to impose on ourselves [to give] the third part of a shekel in every year for the service of the house of our God;
33 ಈ ಹಣವನ್ನು, ಸಮ್ಮುಖದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ನಿತ್ಯಧಾನ್ಯ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಅಮಾವಾಸ್ಯೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ನಿತ್ಯ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತವಾದ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರದ ಬಲಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬೇಕು.
For the shew-bread, and for the continual meat-offering, and for the continual burnt-offering, [for those of] the sabbaths, of the new-moons, for the appointed feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin-offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and [for] all the work of the house of our God.
34 ಮೋಶೆಯ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಿತವಾದ ಕಾಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ವರ್ಷ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವಾಲಯದೊಳಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರಬೇಕಾದ ಸೌದೆಯ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೂ, ಜನರಿಗೂ ಚೀಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದೆವು.
And we, the priests, the Levites, and the people, cast lots concerning the procuring of the wood, to bring it into the house of our God, unto the house of our fathers, at fixed times, year by year, to burn upon the altar of the Lord our God, as it is written in the law;
35 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಫಲಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ತರುವುದಕ್ಕೂ,
And to bring the first-fruits of our ground, and the first-fruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the Lord;
36 ಮೋಶೆಯ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪುತ್ರರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ಪಶುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು; ನಮ್ಮ ದನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮಂದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದು, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವಿಸುವ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇವೆ;
And also the first-born of our sons, and for our [unclean] cattle, as it is written in the law, and to bring the first-born of our herds and of our flocks to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God;
37 ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲಿನ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸಕಲ ಮರಗಳ ಫಲವನ್ನೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನೂ, ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದಿಡುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಲೇವಿಯರು ಒಕ್ಕಲುತನವಿರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಂದ ಹತ್ತರಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಹತ್ತರಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ತರುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು.
And that we would bring the first portion of our dough, and our heave-offerings, and this of the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, to the priests, unto the chambers of the house of our God, and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites; and that these same Levites should be the receivers of the tithes in all the cities of our land-tillage;
38 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಹತ್ತರಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ ಆರೋನನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಯಾಜಕನೊಬ್ಬನು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಲೇವಿಯರು ಹತ್ತರಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಪಾಲಾದದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಡಿಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಿರುವ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸದ ಮನೆಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು.
And that the priest the son of Aaron should be with the Levites, when the Levites receive the tithes; and that the Levites should bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure-house.
39 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಸಲಕರಣೆಗಳೂ, ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಯಾಜಕರೂ, ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರೂ, ಹಾಡುಗಾರರೂ ಇರುವ ಕೊಟ್ಟಡಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ, ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾದ ಧಾನ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನೂ, ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ತರಬೇಕು. “ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಎಂದೂ ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಬರೆದುಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
For into the chambers shall the children of Israel and the children of Levi bring the heave-offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, and there shall be the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the gatekeepers, and the singers: and that we will not forsake the house of our God.
