ಮತ್ತಾಯನು 28
1 ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ಮುಗಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ವಾರದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನ ಬೆಳಗಾಗುವಾಗ ಮಗ್ದಲದ ಮರಿಯಳು ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಮರಿಯಳು ಸಮಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಬಂದರು.
Now late on the sabbath day, as it began to dawn toward the first [day] of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 ಆಗ ಮಹಾ ಭೂಕಂಪವಾಯಿತು. ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದುಬಂದು, ಬಾಗಿಲಿನಿಂದ ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ಉರುಳಿಸಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡನು.
And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled away the stone, and sat upon it.
3 ಅವನ ರೂಪವು ಮಿಂಚಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಅವನ ಉಡುಪು ಹಿಮದಂತೆಯೂ ಬಿಳುಪಾಗಿತ್ತು.
His appearance was as lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ನಡುಗುತ್ತಾ ಸತ್ತಂತಾದರು.
and for fear of him the watchers did quake, and became as dead men.
5 ಆ ದೂತನು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೇರಿಸಿದ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು.
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye; for I know that ye seek Jesus, who hath been crucified.
6 ಅವರು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಜೀವಂತರಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಂದು ನೋಡಿರಿ.
He is not here; for he is risen, even as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 ಬೇಗನೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ, ‘ಅವರು ಮರಣದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ನಿಮಗಿಂತ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಗಲಿಲಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನೀವು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವಿರಿ,’ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿರಿ. ಇದೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಸಂಗತಿ,” ಎಂದನು.
And go quickly, and tell his disciples, He is risen from the dead; and lo, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8 ಅವರು ಭಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಮಹಾ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದಲೂ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಿಂದ ಬೇಗನೆ ಹೊರಟು, ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು.
And they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.
9 ಅವರು ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಯೇಸು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿ, “ಶುಭವಾಗಲಿ” ಎಂದರು. ಅವರು ಬಂದು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದರು.
And behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and took hold of his feet, and worshipped him.
10 ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರು ಗಲಿಲಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವರೆಂದೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ,” ಎಂದರು.
Then saith Jesus unto them, Fear not: go tell my brethren that they depart into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
11 ಅವರು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city, and told unto the chief priests all the things that were come to pass.
12 ಇವರು ಹಿರಿಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದು ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಹಣಕೊಟ್ಟು,
And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave much money unto the soldiers,
13 “‘ನಾವು ನಿದ್ರೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು,’ ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿರಿ.
saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
14 ಇದು ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲನ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದರೆ, ನೀವು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನಪಡಿಸುವೆವು,” ಎಂದರು.
And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and rid you of care.
15 ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಆ ಹಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತಮಗೆ ಕಲಿಸಿದಂತೆ ವರದಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ಕಥೆಯು ಈ ದಿನದವರೆಗೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿದೆ.
So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying was spread abroad among the Jews, [and continueth] until this day.
16 ಆಗ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ಮಂದಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಯೇಸು ತಮಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಗಲಿಲಾಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.
But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, unto the mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
17 ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಕೆಲವರು ಸಂದೇಹ ಪಟ್ಟರು.
And when they saw him, they worshipped [him]; but some doubted.
18 ಯೇಸು ಬಂದು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth.
19 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶಗಳ ಜನರನ್ನು ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಂದೆಯ, ಮಗನ ಮತ್ತು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ,
Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:
