ಮತ್ತಾಯನು 21
1 ಅವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿ ಓಲಿವ್ ಗುಡ್ಡದ ಬೇತ್ಫಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ, ಯೇಸು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ,
When they drew near to Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,
2 ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎದುರಿಗಿರುವ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ. ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಒಂದು ಕತ್ತೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಮರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಾಣುವಿರಿ. ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿರಿ.
saying to them, "Go into the village that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them, and bring them to me.
3 ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಕೇಳಿದರೆ, ನೀವು ಅವನಿಗೆ, ‘ಇವು ಕರ್ತದೇವರಿಗೆ ಅವಶ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರಿ. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
And if anyone says anything to you, you are to say, 'Because the Lord needs them,' and he will send them at once."
4 ಇದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಪವಿತ್ರ ವೇದದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು ನೆರವೇರುವಂತೆ ಆಯಿತು. ಅದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
This took place that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying,
5 “ಚೀಯೋನಿನ ಪುತ್ರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ, ‘ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅರಸನು, ಸಾತ್ವಿಕನಾಗಿ, ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಕತ್ತೆಯಮರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹತ್ತಿದವನಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ.’”
Say to the daughter of Zion, "Look, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey."
6 ಆಗ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸು ತಮಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
The disciples went, and did just as Jesus directed them,
7 ಅವರು ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಮರಿಯನ್ನೂ ತಂದು ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದರು; ಯೇಸು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡರು.
and brought the donkey and the colt, and placed their clothes on them; and he sat on them.
8 ಆಗ ಜನರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹವು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಸಿದರು. ಇತರರು ಮರಗಳಿಂದ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ದು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿದರು.
A very large crowd spread their clothes on the road. Others cut branches from the trees, and spread them on the road.
9 ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಜನರ ಸಮೂಹಗಳು, “ದಾವೀದನ ಪುತ್ರನಿಗೆ ಹೊಸನ್ನ!” “ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವವನಿಗೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ!” “ಮಹೋನ್ನತದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯ!” ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು.
The crowds who went before him, and who followed kept shouting, "Hosanna to the son of David. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest."
10 ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಲಾಹಲವುಂಟಾಗಿ, “ಇವರು ಯಾರು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
When he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred up, saying, "Who is this?"
11 ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಜನಸಮೂಹವು, “ಇವರು ಯೇಸು, ಗಲಿಲಾಯದ ನಜರೇತಿನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿತು.
The crowds said, "This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee."
12 ಯೇಸು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಅಂಗಳದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಮಾರುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರನ್ನೂ ಹೊರಗಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಹಣ ವಿನಿಮಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರ ಮೇಜುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಾರಿವಾಳ ಮಾರುವವರ ಆಸನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕಿದರು.
Jesus entered into the temple, and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers' tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.
13 ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “‘ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯ ಮನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಬರೆದದೆ. ಆದರೆ ನೀವಾದರೋ ಅದನ್ನು, ‘ಕಳ್ಳರ ಗವಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ’ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
He said to them, "It is written, 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a den of robbers."
14 ಆಗ ಕುರುಡರು ಮತ್ತು ಕುಂಟರು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಯೇಸು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿದರು.
The blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.
15 ಯೇಸು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ, “ದಾವೀದನ ಪುತ್ರನಿಗೆ ಹೊಸನ್ನ,” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗುವುದನ್ನು ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕರೂ ನಿಯಮ ಬೋಧಕರೂ ಕಂಡು ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡರು.
But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying, "Hosanna to the son of David." they were indignant,
16 “ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆಯೋ?” ಎಂದು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಯೇಸು, “ಹೌದು,” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, “‘ಸಣ್ಣ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಲುಣ್ಣುವ ಕೂಸುಗಳ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ನೀನು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಿಗೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದೀ,’ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಓದಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?” ಎಂದರು.
and said to him, "Do you hear what these are saying?" Jesus said to them, "Yes. Did you never read, 'Out of the mouth of children and infants you have prepared praise?'"
17 ಯೇಸು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬೇಥಾನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಉಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು.
He left them, and went out of the city to Bethany, and lodged there.
18 ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ಹಸಿವಾಯಿತು.
Now in the morning, as he returned to the city, he was hungry.
19 ಯೇಸು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಅಂಜೂರದ ಮರವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಅದರ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಎಲೆಗಳನ್ನೇ ಹೊರತು ಮತ್ತೇನೂ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಗ ಯೇಸು, ಆ ಮರಕ್ಕೆ, “ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಫಲವು ಬಾರದಿರಲಿ,” ಎಂದರು. ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅಂಜೂರದ ಮರವು ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಯಿತು. (aiōn g165)
Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, "Let there be no fruit from you forever." Immediately the fig tree withered away. (aiōn g165)
20 ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯದಿಂದ, “ಇಷ್ಟು ಬೇಗನೆ ಈ ಅಂಜೂರದ ಮರವು ಒಣಗಿಹೋಯಿತಲ್ಲಾ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
When the disciples saw it, they were amazed, saying, "How did the fig tree immediately wither away?"
21 ಯೇಸು ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ: ಸಂದೇಹ ಪಡದೆ ನಂಬಿದರೆ, ನಾನು ಈ ಅಂಜೂರದ ಮರಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆಯೇ ನೀವೂ ಮಾಡುವಿರಿ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀವು ಈ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ, ‘ನೀನು ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಅದು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಗುವುದು.
Jesus answered them, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith, and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it would be done.
22 ನೀವು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೇನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರೋ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪಡೆಯುವಿರಿ,” ಎಂದರು.
All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
23 ಅನಂತರ ಯೇಸು ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕರೂ ಜನರ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, “ಯಾವ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ನೀನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀ? ಈ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟವರು ಯಾರು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
When he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, "By what authority do you do these things? Who gave you this authority?"
24 ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು, “ನಾನು ಸಹ ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ನಾನು ಯಾವ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ,
Jesus answered them, "I also will ask you one question, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
25 ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಕೊಡುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವು ಯೋಹಾನನಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂತು? ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದಲೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಂದಲೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ತರ್ಕಿಸುತ್ತಾ, “ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ, ‘ನೀವು ಏಕೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ?’ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುವರು.
The baptism of John, where was it from? From heaven or from people?" They reasoned with themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' he will ask us, 'Why then did you not believe him?'
26 ‘ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಂದ ಬಂತು,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಭಯಪಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೆಂದು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಗೌರವಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ,” ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡರು.
But if we say, 'From people,' we fear the crowd, for all hold John as a prophet."
27 ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, “ನಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ಸಹ ಯಾವ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದರು.
They answered Jesus, and said, "We do not know." He also said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.
28 ಅನಂತರ ಯೇಸು, “ನಿಮಗೇನು ಅನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ? ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದರು. ಅವನು ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, ‘ಮಗನೇ, ಹೋಗಿ ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡು,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, 'Son, go work today in the vineyard.'
29 “ಮಗನು ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, ‘ನಾನು ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಅನಂತರ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಟ್ಟು ತೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.
He answered, 'I will not,' but afterward he changed his mind, and went.
30 “ಆಮೇಲೆ ತಂದೆ ಎರಡನೆಯವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, ‘ಅಪ್ಪಾ, ನಾನು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಹೋಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And he came to the other, and said the same thing. And he answered and said, 'I go, sir,' but he did not go.
31 “ಈ ಇಬ್ಬರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಇಷ್ಟದಂತೆ ನಡೆದವನು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, “ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನೇ,” ಎಂದರು. ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಸುಂಕದವರೂ ವೇಶ್ಯೆಯರೂ ನಿಮಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರುವರೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
Which of the two did the will of his father?" They said, "The first." Jesus said to them, "Truly I tell you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering into the Kingdom of God before you.
32 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು ನೀತಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದೊಡನೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ನೀವು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಸುಂಕದವರೂ ವೇಶ್ಯೆಯರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಂಬಿದರು. ನೀವು ಇದನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಂಬುವಂತೆ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪ ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.”
For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. When you saw it, you did not even repent afterward, that you might believe him.
33 “ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಸಾಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ: ಒಬ್ಬ ಯಜಮಾನನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಬೇಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದನು. ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಲು ಆಲೆಯನ್ನು ಅಗೆದು ಕಾವಲುಗೋಪುರವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಗೇಣಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ದೂರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.
"Hear another parable. There was a landowner who planted a vineyard, set a hedge about it, dug a winepress in it, built a tower, leased it out to tenant farmers, and went on a journey.
34 ಫಲದ ಕಾಲ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿದಾಗ, ತನ್ನ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಗೇಣಿಗೆದಾರರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
When the season for the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the tenants, to receive his fruit.
35 “ಆಗ ಗೇಣಿಗೆದಾರರು ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು, ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು. ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದರು.
The tenants took his servants, beat one, killed another, and stoned another.
36 ಯಜಮಾನನು ಮೊದಲನೆಯವರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಗೇಣಿಗೆದಾರರು ಅವರಿಗೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they treated them the same way.
37 ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಯಜಮಾನನು, ‘ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗಾದರೂ ಮರ್ಯಾದೆ ಕೊಡುವರು’ ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, 'They will respect my son.'
38 “ಆದರೆ ಗೇಣಿಗೆದಾರರು ಆ ಮಗನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ, ‘ಇವನೇ ಬಾಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನು. ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ನಾವು ಇವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಇವನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ,’ ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡು,
But the tenants, when they saw the son, said among themselves, 'This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and have his inheritance.'
39 ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು.
So they took him, and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.
40 “ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿತೋಟದ ಯಜಮಾನನೇ ಬಂದಾಗ, ಆ ಗೇಣಿಗೆದಾರರಿಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವನು?” ಎಂದು ಯೇಸು ಕೇಳಲು,
When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?"
41 ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕರೂ ಜನರ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, “ಅವನು ಆ ದುಷ್ಟ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕ್ರೂರವಾಗಿ ಸಂಹರಿಸುವನು. ತಕ್ಕ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ತನಗೆ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಬೇರೆ ಗೇಣಿಗೆದಾರರಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿತೋಟವನ್ನು ಗೇಣಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
They told him, "He will utterly destroy those evil men, and will lease out the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him the fruit in its season."
42 ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “‘ಮನೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವವರು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ ಕಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಮೂಲೆಗಲ್ಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಿಂದಲೇ ಆಯಿತು. ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ತೋರುತ್ತದೆ,’ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಪವಿತ್ರ ವೇದದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದೂ ಓದಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ?
Jesus said to them, "Did you never read in the Scriptures, 'The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the head of the corner. This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes?'
43 “ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ತಕ್ಕ ಫಲಕೊಡುವ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
"Therefore I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation bringing forth its fruit.
44 ಈ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವವನು ತುಂಡುತುಂಡಾಗುವನು, ಆದರೆ ಇದೇ ಕಲ್ಲು ಯಾವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವುದೋ ಅವನನ್ನು ಅದು ಜಜ್ಜಿ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು,” ಎಂದರು.
He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it will fall, it will crush him."
45 ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕರೂ ಫರಿಸಾಯರೂ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಸಾಮ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರೆಂದು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke about them.
46 ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದರು. ಆದರೂ ಜನಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಜನರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೆಂದು ನಂಬಿದ್ದರು.
When they sought to seize him, they feared the crowds, because they considered him to be a prophet.
