ಲೂಕನು 24
1 ವಾರದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದ, ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವದಲ್ಲಿ, ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪರಿಮಳ ದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
but, on the first day of the week, at early dawn, unto the tomb, came they, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
2 ಆಗ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಿಂದ ಬಂಡೆ ಉರುಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕಂಡರು,
And they found the stone, rolled away from the tomb;
3 ಅವರು ಅದರ ಒಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ.
but, when they entered, they found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 ಅವರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಗಲಿಬಿಲಿಗೊಂಡರು. ಆಗ ಮಿಂಚಿನಂತೆ ಹೊಳೆಯುವ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪುರುಷರು ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಅವರ ಬಳಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರು.
And it came to pass, while they were perplexing themselves concerning this, that lo! two men, stood near them, in dazzling raiment.
5 ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ತಮ್ಮ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ನೆಲದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಾಟಿರಲು, ಆ ಪುರುಷರು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಜೀವಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗೆ ನೀವು ಏಕೆ ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತೀರಿ?
And, they becoming afraid, and bending their faces unto the ground, they said unto them—Why seek ye the Living One with the dead?
6 ಅವರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಜೀವಂತರಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ! ಅವರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಗಲಿಲಾಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ:
He is not here, but hath arisen: Remember how he spake unto you while yet he was in Galilee:
7 ‘ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನಾದ ನಾನು ಪಾಪಿಷ್ಠರ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದವನಾಗಿ, ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಲಾಗಿ ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಜೀವಂತನಾಗಿ ಏಳುವೆನು,’ ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀವು ನೆನಪುಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ,” ಎಂದರು.
Saying, as to the Son of Man, that he must needs be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, —and, on the third day, arise.
8 ಆಗ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
And they remembered his sayings;
9 ಸಮಾಧಿಯಿಂದ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ, ಆ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ಮಂದಿಗೂ ಉಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
and, returning [from the tomb], reported all these things unto the eleven, and unto all the rest.
10 ಮಗ್ದಲದ ಮರಿಯಳು, ಯೋಹಾನಳು, ಯಾಕೋಬನ ತಾಯಿ ಮರಿಯಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದ ಬೇರೆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರಿಗೆ ಈ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
Now they were the Magdalene Mary, and Joana, and Mary the mother of James; and, the other women with them, were telling, unto the apostles, these things.
11 ಅವರಿಗಾದರೋ ಈ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ಕಟ್ಟು ಕಥೆಗಳಂತೆ ಕಂಡವು, ಅವರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And these sayings appeared before them, as if idle talk, and they were minded to disbelieve them.
12 ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಎದ್ದು, ಸಮಾಧಿ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ, ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಬಗ್ಗಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಾರುಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ನಡೆದ ಸಂಭವಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು.
But, Peter, arising, ran unto the tomb, —and, bending near, beholdeth the linen bandages, alone; and departed, unto himself, marvelling at the thing that had happened.
13 ಅದೇ ದಿನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ಕಿಲೋಮೀಟರು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಮ್ಮಾಹು ಎಂಬ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
And lo! two from among them, on the selfsame day, were journeying unto a village, distant sixty furlongs from Jerusalem, the name of which, was Emmaus;
14 ಅವರು ನಡೆದ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಭವಗಳ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
and, they, were conversing one with another, about all these things which had occurred.
15 ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಚರ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗಲು, ಯೇಸು ತಾವೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋದರು;
And it came to pass, as they were conversing and reasoning together, that, Jesus himself, drawing near, was journeying with them;
16 ಆದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಗುರುತು ಹಿಡಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
but, their eyes, were held, so as not to know him.
17 ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಚರ್ಚೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲಾ ಏನು ವಿಷಯ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಅವರು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ನಿಂತರು, ಅವರ ಮುಖ ದುಖಃಭರಿತವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
And he said unto them—What are these things which ye are debating one with another, as ye walk along? And they came to a stand, sad in countenance.
18 ಆಗ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದ, ಕ್ಲೆಯೊಫ ಎಂಬುವನು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, “ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನೊಳಗೆ ನಡೆದಿರುವ ಘಟನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದ ಪರಸ್ಥಳದವನು ನೀನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀಯಾ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
But one, by name Cleopas, answering, said unto him—Art, thou, lodging, alone, in Jerusalem, and knowest not the things which have come to pass therein in these days?
19 ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಯಾವ ಘಟನೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು, ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, “ನಜರೇತಿನ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ವಿಷಯಗಳೇ, ಅವರು ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಾತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬಹುಶಕ್ತಿವಂತರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
And he said unto them—What things? And, they, said unto him—The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who became a prophet, mighty in work and word, before God and all the people:
20 ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೂ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಮರಣದಂಡನೆಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
In what way also our High-priests and Rulers delivered him up unto a sentence of death, and crucified him.
21 ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸುವವರು ಆ ಯೇಸುವೇ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ನಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆವು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಈ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ನಡೆದು ಇದು ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನವಾಗಿದೆ.
We, however, were hoping that, he, was the one destined to redeem Israel! But indeed, even with all these things, this brings on, the third, day, since these things happened: —
22 ನಮ್ಮವರಲ್ಲಿ, ಕೆಲವು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಇಂದು ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರು.
Nay! certain women also, from amongst us, have made us beside ourselves, in that they went early unto the tomb;
23 ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಕಾಣದೆ ಬಂದು, ಯೇಸು ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ ದೇವದೂತರನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡಿದ್ದ ದೃಶ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ನಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
and, not finding his body, came, saying—that, a vision of messengers, they had seen, who were affirming him to be alive.
24 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದ ಕೆಲವರು ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನೇ ಕಂಡರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದರು.
And certain of them who were with us departed unto the tomb, —and found so, according as, the women, had said; but, him, they saw not.
25 ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಎಂಥ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರು ನೀವು, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ನಂಬುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂದ ಹೃದಯದವರೇ!
And, he, said unto them—O thoughtless ones! and slow in heart to rest your faith upon all things which the prophets have spoken: —
26 ಶ್ರಮೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಮಹಿಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವುದು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ,
Was it not needful for the Christ, these very things, to suffer, and to enter into his glory?
27 ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಂದ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ, ಪವಿತ್ರ ವೇದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಬರೆದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
And, beginning from Moses, and from all the prophets, he thoroughly explained to them, in all the Scriptures, the things concerning himself.
28 ಅವರು ಹೋಗಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಸಮೀಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಯೇಸು ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುವವರಂತೆ ವರ್ತಿಸಿದರು.
And they drew near unto the village, whither they were journeying; and, he, made for journeying, further.
29 ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, “ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರು, ಈಗ ಸಂಜೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಕತ್ತಲಾಯಿತು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋದರು.
And they constrained him, saying—Abide with us; because it is, towards evening, and the day hath already declined. And he went in to abide with them.
30 ಯೇಸು ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡಿರಲು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ, ಮುರಿದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
And it came to pass, when he reclined with them, taking the loaf, he blessed, and, breaking it, went on to give unto them.
31 ಆಗ ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ತೆರೆದವು. ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಗುರುತು ಹಿಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಯೇಸು ಅವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಅದೃಶ್ಯರಾದರು.
And, their, eyes were opened, and they knew him; and, he, vanished from them.
32 ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು, “ಅವರು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೂಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಪವಿತ್ರ ವೇದವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಂತೆ ದಹಿಸಿತಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡರು.
And they said one to another—Was not, our heart, burning, as he was speaking to us in the way, as he was opening to us the Scriptures?
33 ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಅದೇ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಹೋದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ಮಂದಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೂ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದವರೂ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡರು.
And, arising in that very hour, they returned unto Jerusalem, —and found, gathered together, the eleven, and them who were with them,
34 ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರು, “ಇದು ನಿಜವೇ! ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ಜೀವಂತರಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸೀಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
saying—In truth, the Lord hath arisen, and hath appeared unto Simon!
35 ಆಗ ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಮುರಿಯುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹೇಗೆ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಗುರುತು ಹಿಡಿದರೆಂದೂ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
And, they, went on to relate the things, [that had passed] on the journey, and how he was made known unto them in the breaking of the loaf.
36 ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಯೇಸು ತಾವೇ ಅವರ ನಡುವೆ ನಿಂತು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಲಿ,” ಎಂದರು.
Now, as, these very things, they were telling, he himself, stood in their midst and saith unto them—Peace to you!
37 ಅವರು ತಾವು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಭೂತವೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ, ದಿಗಿಲುಬಿದ್ದು ಭಯಹಿಡಿದವರಾದರು.
But, being agitated and becoming, afraid, they began to imagine, that, upon a spirit, they were looking.
38 ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಏಕೆ ನೀವು ಕಳವಳಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶಯಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟುವುದು ಏಕೆ?
And he said unto them—Why are ye troubled? and for what cause do reasonings arise in your hearts?
39 ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರಿ. ನಾನೇ ಆತನು! ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ನೋಡಿರಿ; ನೀವು ಕಾಣುವಂತೆ ನನಗಿರುವ ಮಾಂಸ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಭೂತಕ್ಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದರು.
See my hands, and my feet, —that it is, I, myself: Handle me, and see! because, a spirit, hath not, flesh and bones, as ye perceive, I, have.
40 ಹೀಗೆ ಯೇಸು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.
And, this saying, he pointed out to them his hands and his feet.
41 ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಸಂತೋಷದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ನಂಬದೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಆಹಾರವೇನಾದರೂ ಇದೆಯೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
Now, while yet they believed not for the joy, and were marvelling, he said unto them—Have ye anything to eat, here?
42 ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ತುಂಡು ಸುಟ್ಟ ಮೀನನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
And they gave unto him a piece of boiled fish;
43 ಯೇಸು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ತಿಂದರು.
and, taking it before them, he did eat.
44 ಯೇಸು ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ, “ಮೋಶೆಯ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವುದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ನೆರವೇರುವುದು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾಗಲೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
And he said unto them—These, are my words, which I spake unto you yet being with you: That all the things that are written in the law of Moses and the Prophets and Psalms, concerning me, must needs be fulfilled.
45 ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಪವಿತ್ರ ವೇದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆದರು.
Then, opened he their mind, to understand the Scriptures;
46 ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಬಾಧೆಪಟ್ಟು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು ಬರುವುದು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತೆಂತಲೂ
and said unto them—Thus, it is written, That the Christ, should suffer, and arise from among the dead on the third day;
47 ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗದವರೊಳಗೆ ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಟ್ಟು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಪಗಳ ಕ್ಷಮಾಪಣೆ ಸಾರಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ ಬರೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ.
And that repentance for remission of sins should be proclaimed upon his name unto all the nations, —beginning from Jerusalem.
48 ಇವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನೀವು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Ye, are witnesses of these things.
49 ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು; ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಪರಲೋಕದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊದಿಸುವ ತನಕ, ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರಿ,” ಎಂದರು.
And lo! I, am sending forth the promise of my Father upon you; but tarry, ye, in the city, until ye be clothed, from on high, with power.
50 ಯೇಸು ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಬೇಥಾನ್ಯದವರೆಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದರು.
And he led them forth as far as unto Bethany; and, uplifting his hands, he blessed them.
51 ಯೇಸು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿದರು.
And it came to pass, while he was blessing them, he parted from them and was born up into heaven.
52 ಆಗ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ, ಬಹು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದರು.
And, they, having bowed down unto him returned unto Jerusalem, with great joy;
53 ಅವರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದರು.
and were continually in the temple, blessing God.
