ಯಾಜಕಕಾಂಡ 24

1 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

2 “ಬೆಳಕಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೀಪಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ಅವರು ಕುಟ್ಟಿದ ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಓಲಿವ್ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತರುವಂತೆ ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಬೇಕು.

“Command the people of Israel to bring you pure oil beaten from olives to be used in the lamp, that the light may burn continually.

3 ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುವ ಪರದೆಯ ಹೊರಗೆ, ಆರೋನನು ಸಂಜೆಯಿಂದ ಉದಯದವರೆಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ದೀಪವನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಉರಿಸುತ್ತಿರಬೇಕು. ಈ ನಿಯಮವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ನಿಯಮವಾಗಿರುವುದು.

Outside the curtain before the covenant decrees in the tent of meeting, Aaron must continually, from evening to morning, keep the lamp lit before Yahweh. This will be a permanent statute throughout your people's generations.

4 ದೀಪಗಳು ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬಂಗಾರದ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಅವನು ಕ್ರಮಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು.

The high priest must always keep the lamps lit before Yahweh, the lamps on the lampstand of pure gold.

5 “ನೀನು ನಯವಾದ ಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಡಬೇಕು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಎರಡೆರಡು ಓಮರನಷ್ಟು ಇರಬೇಕು.

You must take fine flour and bake twelve loaves with it. There must be two-tenths of an ephah in each loaf.

6 ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಮೇಜಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆರರಂತೆ, ಎರಡು ಸಾಲುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಇಡಬೇಕು.

Then you must set them in two rows, six in a row, on the table of pure gold before Yahweh.

7 ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಇರುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಸಾಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಸಾಂಬ್ರಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕಬೇಕು.

You must put pure incense along each row of loaves as a representative offering. This incense will be burnt for Yahweh.

8 ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕ್ರಮಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

Every Sabbath day the high priest must regularly set out the bread before Yahweh on behalf of the people of Israel, as a sign of an everlasting covenant.

9 ಅದು ಆರೋನನ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಪುತ್ರರದಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ನಿಯಮವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಹಾಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವುದು.”

This offering will be for Aaron and his sons, and they are to eat it in a place that is holy, for it is a portion from the offerings to Yahweh made by fire.”

10 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನವಳಾದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೂ, ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನವನಾದ ಪುರುಷನಿಗೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮಗನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪಾಳ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನವಳಾದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಈ ಮಗನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಗಳವಾಡಿದರು.

Now it happened that the son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went among the people of Israel. This son of the Israelite woman fought against an Israelite man in the camp.

11 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಮಗನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸಿ, ಶಪಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದರು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಶೆಲೋಮಿತ್. ಇವಳು ದಾನ್ ಕುಲದ ದಿಬ್ರೀಯನ ಮಗಳು.

The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the name of Yahweh and cursed God, so the people brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, from the tribe of Dan.

12 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವಂತೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಾವಲಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟರು.

They held him in custody until Yahweh himself should declare his will to them.

13 ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,

Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

14 “ಶಪಿಸಿದವನನ್ನು ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಆಚೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿರಿ, ಅವನಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಡಲಿ, ಸಭೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯಲಿ.

“Take the man who has cursed God outside the camp. All who heard him must lay their hands on his head, and then the entire assembly must stone him.

15 ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು, ‘ತನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸುವವನು, ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

You must explain to the people of Israel and say, 'Whoever curses his God must carry his own guilt.

16 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ದೂಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುವವನಿಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಬೇಕು. ಸಭೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯಬೇಕು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸ್ವದೇಶೀಯನಾಗಿರಲಿ, ಪರಕೀಯನಾಗಿರಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ದೂಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ, ಅವನನ್ನು ಮರಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು.

He who blasphemes the name of Yahweh must surely be put to death. All the assembly must certainly stone him, whether he is a foreigner or a native-born Israelite. If anyone blasphemes the name of Yahweh, he must be put to death.

17 “‘ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದರೆ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡಬೇಕು.

If anyone strikes down another human being, he must certainly be put to death.

18 ಪಶುವನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವವರು, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಪಶುವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.

If anyone strikes down someone's animal, he must pay it back, life for life.

19 ಯಾರಾದರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ಊನವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

If anyone injures his neighbor, it must be done to him as he did to his neighbor:

20 ಮುರಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಮುರಿತ, ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣು, ಹಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹಲ್ಲು, ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಊನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As he has caused an injury to a person, so must it also be done to him.

21 ಪಶುವನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವವರು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲುಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವವರನ್ನು ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು.

Anyone who kills an animal must pay it back, and anyone who kills a person must be put to death.

22 ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ವಿಧವಾದ ನಿಯಮವಿರಬೇಕು. ಸ್ವದೇಶಸ್ಥನಿಗೆ ಇರುವಂತೆಯೇ ಪರಕೀಯನಿಗೂ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಾನೇ.’”

You must have the same law for both the foreigner and the native-born Israelite, for I am Yahweh your God.'”

23 ಶಪಿಸಿದವನನ್ನು ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದು, ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು. ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

So Moses spoke to the people of Israel, and the people brought the man outside the camp, the one who had cursed Yahweh. They stoned him with stones. The people of Israel carried out the command of Yahweh to Moses.
