ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು 21

1 ಲೇವಿ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಹಿರಿಯರು, ನೂನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಎಲಿಯಾಜರನ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಬಂದರು.

Then the heads of ancestral houses of the Levites came near to Eleazar the cohen, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of ancestral houses of the tribes of the children of Israel.

2 ಅವರು ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದ ಶೀಲೋವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿ, “ನಾವು ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಶುಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅವುಗಳ ಉಪನಗರಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದರು.

They spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, "The LORD commanded Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for our livestock."

3 ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಗೋಮಾಳಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಅವುಗಳ ವಿವರ:

The children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of the LORD, these cities with their suburbs.

4 ಕೊಹಾತ್ಯರ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಚೀಟು ಬಂದಾಗ ಲೇವಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹದಿಮೂರು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಚೀಟಿಯಿಂದ ದೊರಕಿದವು.

The lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. The descendants of Aaron the cohen, who were of the Levites, had thirteen cities by lot out of the tribe of Judah, out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin.

5 ಕೊಹಾತ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ದಾನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಅರ್ಧ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಚೀಟಿಯಿಂದ ದೊರಕಿದವು.

The rest of the descendants of Kohath had ten cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.

6 ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಆಶೇರನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನಫ್ತಾಲಿಯ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಬಾಷಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಅರ್ಧ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹದಿಮೂರು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಚೀಟಿಯಿಂದ ದೊರಕಿದವು.

The descendants of Gershon had thirteen cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, out of the tribe of Asher, out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.

7 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೆರಾರೀಯರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ರೂಬೇನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಗಾದನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಜೆಬುಲೂನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ದೊರಕಿದವು.

The descendants of Merari according to their families had twelve cities by lot out of the tribe of Reuben, out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.

8 ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಗೋಮಾಳಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ಚೀಟು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

The children of Israel gave these cities with their suburbs by lot to the Levites, as the LORD commanded by Moses.

9 ಅವರು ಯೆಹೂದನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೆಲವು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

They gave out of the tribe of the descendants of Judah, and out of the tribe of the descendants of Simeon, these cities which are mentioned by name:

10 ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಚೀಟು ಬಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ, ಲೇವಿ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಕೊಹಾತ್ಯರಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಸಂತತಿಯರಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೂದ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೂಡಲಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ವಿವರ:

and they were for the descendants of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the descendants of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.

11 ಯೆಹೂದದ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅನಾಕನ ಪಿತೃವಾದ ಕಿರ್ಯತ್ ಅರ್ಬನ ಹೆಸರಿದ್ದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನನ್ನೂ, ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಗೋಮಾಳಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

They gave them Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak (that is, Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, with its suburbs around it.

12 ಆದರೆ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹೊಲಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅದರ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯೆಫುನ್ನೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಕಾಲೇಬನಿಗೂ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

But they gave the fields of the city and its villages to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.

13 ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಆರೋನನ ವಂಶದವರಿಗೆ ಅಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದವನಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಲಿಬ್ನಾವನ್ನೂ

To the descendants of Aaron the cohen they gave Hebron with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, Libnah with its suburbs,

14 ಯತ್ತೀರನ್ನೂ ಎಷ್ಟೆಮೋವನ್ನೂ

Jattir with its suburbs, Eshtemoa with its suburbs,

15 ಹೋಲೋನನ್ನೂ ದೆಬೀರನ್ನೂ

Holon with its suburbs, Debir with its suburbs,

16 ಆಯಿನ್, ಯುಟ್ಟಾ, ಬೇತ್ ಷೆಮೆಷ್ ಎಂಬ ಆ ಎರಡು ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ಈ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

Ashan with its suburbs, Juttah with its suburbs, and Beth Shemesh with its suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.

17 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನನ್ನೂ ಗೆಬಾನನ್ನೂ

Out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its suburbs, Geba with its suburbs,

18 ಅನಾತೋತನ್ನೂ ಅಲ್ಮೋನನ್ನೂ ಹೀಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

Anathoth with its suburbs, and Almon with its suburbs; four cities.

19 ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಆರೋನನ ವಂಶದವರಿಗೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ಹದಿಮೂರು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ, ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.

All the cities of the descendants of Aaron, the cohanim, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.

20 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಲೇವಿಯರಾದ ಕೊಹಾತ್ಯನ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರಿಗೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚೀಟಿಯಿಂದ ದೊರಕಿದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ವಿವರ:

The families of the descendants of Kohath, the Levites, even the rest of the descendants of Kohath, had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.

21 ಅಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದವನಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮನ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ, ಶೆಕೆಮನ್ನೂ ಗೆಜೆರನ್ನೂ

They gave them Shechem with its suburbs in the hill country of Ephraim, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Gezer with its suburbs,

22 ಕಿಬ್‌ಚೈಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬೇತ್ ಹೋರೋನ್ ಹೀಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.

Kibzaim with its suburbs, and Beth Horon with its suburbs; four cities.

23 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾನ್ಯನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಎಲ್ತೆಕೇಯನ್ನೂ ಗಿಬ್ಬೆತೋನನ್ನೂ

Out of the tribe of Dan, Elteke with its suburbs, Gibbethon with its suburbs,

24 ಅಯ್ಯಾಲೋನನ್ನೂ ಗತ್ ರಿಮ್ಮೋನನ್ನೂ ಹೀಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.

Aijalon with its suburbs, Gath Rimmon with its suburbs; four cities.

25 ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಅರ್ಧಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ, ತಾನಕನ್ನೂ ಗತ್ ರಿಮ್ಮೋನನ್ನೂ ಹೀಗೆ ಎರಡು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.

Out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its suburbs, and Beth Shean with its suburbs; two cities.

26 ಹೀಗೆ ಉಳಿದಂಥ ಕೊಹಾತ್ಯನ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.

All the cities of the families of the rest of the descendants of Kohath were ten with their suburbs.

27 ಲೇವಿ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಅರ್ಧಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದವನಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಬಾಷಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗೋಲಾನನ್ನೂ ಬೆಯೆಷ್ಟೆರಾವನ್ನೂ ಹೀಗೆ ಎರಡು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.

They gave to the descendants of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh Golan in Bashan with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Be Eshterah with its suburbs; two cities.

28 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರನ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಸೊತ್ತಿನಿಂದ ಕಿಷ್ಯೋನನ್ನೂ ದಾಬೆರತನ್ನೂ

Out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishion with its suburbs, Daberath with its suburbs,

29 ಯರ್ಮೂತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಏಂಗನ್ನೀಮನ್ನೂ ಹೀಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.

Jarmuth with its suburbs, En Gannim with its suburbs; four cities.

30 ಆಶೇರನ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಸೊತ್ತಿನಿಂದ ಮಿಷಾಲನ್ನೂ, ಅಬ್ದೋನನ್ನೂ

Out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with its suburbs, Abdon with its suburbs,

31 ಹೆಲ್ಕತನ್ನೂ ರೆಹೋಬನ್ನೂ ಹೀಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.

Helkath with its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs; four cities.

32 ನಫ್ತಾಲಿಯ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದವನಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಗಲಿಲಾಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೆದೆಷನ್ನೂ ಹಮ್ಮೋತ್ ದೋರನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತಾನನ್ನೂ ಹೀಗೆ ಮೂರು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.

Out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galil with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, Hammothdor with its suburbs, and Kartan with its suburbs; three cities.

33 ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹದಿಮೂರು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.

All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their suburbs.

34 ಉಳಿದ ಲೇವಿಯರಾದ ಮೆರಾರೀಯ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಜೆಬುಲೂನನ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಸೊತ್ತಿನಿಂದ ಯೊಕ್ನೆಯಾಮ್, ಕರ್ತಾ,

To the families of the descendants of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with its suburbs, Kartah with its suburbs,

35 ದಿಮ್ನಾ, ನಹಲಾಲ್, ಹೀಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.

Rimmon with its suburbs, and Nahalal with its suburbs; four cities.

36 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ರೂಬೇನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಚೆರನ್ನೂ ಯಹಚವನ್ನೂ

And across the Jordan opposite Jericho, from the tribe of Reuben: a city of refuge for the manslayer, Bezer in the wilderness, on the plateau, with its suburbs, Jahaz with its suburbs,

37 ಕೆದೇಮೋತನ್ನೂ ಮೇಫಾತನ್ನೂ ಹೀಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.

Kedemoth with its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs; four cities.

38 ಗಾದ್ಯರ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದವನಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ರಾಮೋತನ್ನೂ, ಮಹನಯಿಮನ್ನೂ,

Out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Mahanaim with its suburbs,

39 ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನನ್ನೂ ಯಜ್ಜೇರನ್ನೂ ಹೀಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.

Heshbon with its suburbs, Jazer with its suburbs; four cities in all.

40 ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಲೇವಿ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಉಳಿದಂಥ ಮೆರಾರೀಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಚೀಟಿಯಿಂದ ದೊರೆತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು.

All these were the cities of the descendants of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites. Their lot was twelve cities.

41 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ನಡುವೆ ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತೆಂಟು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ದೊರಕಿದವು.

All the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the children of Israel were forty-eight cities with their suburbs.

42 ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಪ್ರತಿ ಒಂದಕ್ಕೂ ಗೋಮಾಳಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಎಲ್ಲ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೂ ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಇದ್ದವು.

Each of these cities included their suburbs around them. It was this way with all these cities.

43 ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟ ದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

So the LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers. They possessed it, and lived in it.

44 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವರ ತಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅವರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಕೈಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.

The LORD gave them rest all around, according to all that he swore to their fathers. Not a man of all their enemies stood before them. The LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.

45 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಅತಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾಗ್ದಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನೆರವೇರಿದವು.

Nothing failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
