ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು 15
1 ಯೆಹೂದ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಿದ ಮೇರೆ ಯಾವುದೆಂದರೆ: ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಗಿರುವ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಎದೋಮಿನ ಮೇರೆಯಾದ ಚಿನ್ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾಗ.
Now the allotment for the clans of the tribe of Judah extended to the border of Edom, to the Wilderness of Zin at the extreme southern boundary:
2 ಲವಣ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕಡೆಗಿರುವ ಕೊನೆಯಿಂದ,
Their southern border started at the bay on the southern tip of the Salt Sea,
3 ಅಕ್ರಬ್ಬೀಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಕಣಿವೆಯ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಚಿನಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವದು. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕಾದೇಶ್ ಬರ್ನೇಯಕ್ಕೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ರೋನನಿಂದ ಅದ್ದಾರವರೆಗೂ ಮುಂದುವರೆದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರಿಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ಕದವರೆಗೂ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು,
proceeded south of the Ascent of Akrabbim, continued on to Zin, went over to the south of Kadesh-barnea, ran past Hezron up to Addar, and curved toward Karka.
4 ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟನ ಅಚ್ಮೋನ ನದಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಮೆಡಿಟೆರಿಯನ್ ಸಮುದ್ರದವರೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಸೇರುವುದು. ಇದೇ ಯೆಹೂದದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಮೇರೆ.
It proceeded to Azmon, joined the Brook of Egypt, and ended at the Sea. This was their southern border.
5 ಅದರ ಪೂರ್ವದ ಮೇರೆ, ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿ ಕೊನೆಯ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗಿರುವ ಲವಣ ಸಮುದ್ರವು. ಉತ್ತರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿ ಮೇರೆ ಕೊನೆ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮುಖದ್ವಾರದಿಂದ ಇತ್ತು;
The eastern border was the Salt Sea as far as the mouth of the Jordan. The northern border started from the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan,
6 ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬೇತ್ ಹೊಗ್ಲಾಕ್ಕೂ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಬೇತ್ ಅರಾಬನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ, ರೂಬೇನನ ಮಗ ಬೋಹನನ ಬಂಡೆಯ ವರೆಗೆ ಇತ್ತು.
went up to Beth-hoglah, proceeded north of Beth-arabah, and went up to the Stone of Bohan son of Reuben.
7 ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಆಕೋರ್ ತಗ್ಗನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ದೆಬೀರಿಗೂ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ನದಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅದುಮೀಮಿನ ದಿಬ್ಬೆಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿರುವ ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿಗೂ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಏನ್ ಷೆಮೆಷ್ ಎಂಬ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗೂ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಏನ್ ರೋಗೆಲ್‌ವರೆಗೂ ಇತ್ತು.
Then the border went up to Debir from the Valley of Achor, turning north to Gilgal, which faces the Ascent of Adummim south of the ravine. It continued along the waters of En-shemesh and came out at En-rogel.
8 ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರು ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹಿನ್ನೋಮ್ ತಗ್ಗನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ, ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕಿರುವ ರೆಫಾಯಿಮ್ ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆನ್ ಹಿನ್ನೋಮನ ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಮುಂದಿರುವ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಖರದವರೆಗೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.
From there the border went up the Valley of Hinnom along the southern slope of the Jebusites (that is, Jerusalem) and ascended to the top of the hill that faces the Valley of Hinnom on the west, at the northern end of the Valley of Rephaim.
9 ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಖರದಿಂದ ನೆಫ್ತೋಹದ ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಎಫ್ರೋನನ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕಿರ್ಯತ್ ಯಾರೀಮ್ ಆದ ಬಾಲಾ ಎಂಬ ಊರಿನವರೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.
From the hilltop the border curved to the spring of the Waters of Nephtoah, proceeded to the cities of Mount Ephron, and then bent around toward Baalah (that is, Kiriath-jearim).
10 ಬಾಲಾದಿಂದ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಸೇಯೀರ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕೆಸಾಲೋನಿನ ಯಾರೀಮ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬೇತ್ ಷೆಮೆಷ್ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ತಿಮ್ನಾಗೆ ಹೋಯಿತು.
The border curled westward from Baalah to Mount Seir, ran along the northern slope of Mount Jearim (that is, Chesalon), went down to Beth-shemesh, and crossed to Timnah.
11 ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಎಕ್ರೋನಿನ ಗುಡ್ಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಕೆರೋನಿಗೂ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಾಲಾ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಯಬ್ನೆಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಗಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.
Then it went out to the northern slope of Ekron, curved toward Shikkeron, proceeded to Mount Baalah, went on to Jabneel, and ended at the Sea.
12 ಅದು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದ ಮೇರೆಯ ಮೆಡಿಟರೇನಿಯನ್ ಮಹಾಸಾಗರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೇ ಯೆಹೂದ ಗೋತ್ರದವರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಉಂಟಾದ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಮೇರೆ.
And the western border was the coastline of the Great Sea. These are the boundaries around the clans of the descendants of Judah.
13 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯೆಫುನ್ನೆಯ ಮಗ ಕಾಲೇಬನಿಗೆ ಅನಾಕನ ತಂದೆಯ ಕಿರ್ಯತ್ ಅರ್ಬ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನಡುವೆ ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
According to the LORD’s command to him, Joshua gave Caleb son of Jephunneh a portion among the sons of Judah—Kiriath-arba, that is, Hebron. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)
14 ಆಗ ಕಾಲೇಬನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅನಾಕನ ಮೂವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಶೇಷೈ, ಅಹೀಮನ್, ತಲ್ಮೈರನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
And Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak—the descendants of Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
15 ಕಾಲೇಬನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು, ಕಿರ್ಯತ್ ಸೇಫೆರ್ ಎಂದು ಅನ್ನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ದೆಬೀರಿನ ವಾಸಿಗಳ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು.
From there he marched against the inhabitants of Debir (formerly known as Kiriath-sepher).
16 ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲೇಬನು, “ಕಿರ್ಯತ್ ಸೇಫೆರನ್ನು ದಾಳಿಮಾಡಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಅಕ್ಸಾ ಎಂಬಾಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು.
And Caleb said, “To the man who strikes down Kiriath-sepher and captures it, I will give my daughter Acsah in marriage.”
17 ಆಗ ಕಾಲೇಬನ ತಮ್ಮನಾದ ಕೆನಾಜನ ಮಗನಾದ ಒತ್ನಿಯೇಲನು ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದನು. ಅನಂತರ ಕಾಲೇಬನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಅಕ್ಸಾ ಎಂಬಾಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
So Othniel son of Caleb’s brother Kenaz captured the city, and Caleb gave his daughter Acsah to him in marriage.
18 ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಅಕ್ಷಾ ಒತ್ನಿಯೇಲನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಇನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿ, ಕತ್ತೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಇಳಿದಳು. ಆಗ ಕಾಲೇಬನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ, “ನಿನಗೆ ಏನು ಬೇಕು?” ಎಂದನು.
One day Acsah came to Othniel and urged him to ask her father for a field. When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, “What do you desire?”
19 ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನನಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಮೊದಲು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟೆ; ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡು,” ಎಂದಳು. ಆಗ ಕಾಲೇಬನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಮೇಲಿನ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
“Give me a blessing,” she answered. “Since you have given me land in the Negev, give me springs of water as well.” So Caleb gave her both the upper and lower springs.
20 ಯೆಹೂದ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಉಂಟಾದ ಸೊತ್ತಿನ ವಿವರ:
This is the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Judah.

These were the southernmost cities of the tribe of Judah in the Negev toward the border of Edom: Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,

Kinah, Dimonah, Adadah,
23 ಕೆದೆಷ್, ಹಾಚೋರ್, ಇತ್ನಾನ್,
Kedesh, Hazor, Ithnan,
24 ಜೀಫ್, ಟೆಲೆಮ್, ಬೆಯಾಲೋತ್,
Ziph, Telem, Bealoth,
25 ಹಾಚೋರ್ ಹದತ್ತಾ, ಕಿರ್ಯೋತ್ ಹೆಚ್ರೋನ್, ಎಂಬುವ ಹಾಚೋರ್,

Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain, and Rimmon—twenty-nine cities in all, along with their villages.
33 ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದ ತಗ್ಗಿನ ದೇಶ ಎಷ್ಟಾವೋಲ್, ಚೊರ್ಗಾ, ಅಶ್ಣಾ,
These were in the foothills: Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah,
34 ಜಾನೋಹ, ಏಂಗನ್ನೀಮ್, ತಪ್ಪೂಹ, ಏನಾಮ್,
Zanoah, En-gannim, Tappuah, Enam,
35 ಯರ್ಮೂತ್, ಅದುಲ್ಲಾಮ್, ಸೋಕೋ, ಅಜೇಕಾ,
Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah,
36 ಶಾರಯಿಮ್, ಅದೀತಯಿಮ್, ಗೆದೇರಾ, ಗೆದೆರೋತಯಿಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು.
Shaaraim, Adithaim, and Gederah (or Gederothaim)—fourteen cities, along with their villages.
37 ಚೆನಾನ್, ಹದಾಷಾ, ಮಿಗ್ದಲ್ಗಾದ್,
Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal-gad,
38 ದಿಲಾನ್, ಮಿಚ್ಪೆ, ಯೊಕ್ತೇಲ್,
Dilan, Mizpeh, Joktheel,
39 ಲಾಕೀಷ್, ಬೊಚ್ಕತ್, ಎಗ್ಲೋನ್,
Lachish, Bozkath, Eglon,
40 ಕಬ್ಬೋನ್, ಲಹ್ಮಾಸ್, ಕಿತ್ಲೀಷ್,

Gederoth, Beth-dagon, Naamah, and Makkedah—sixteen cities, along with their villages.
42 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಲಿಬ್ನಾ, ಎತೆರ್, ಆಷಾನ್,
Libnah, Ether, Ashan,
43 ಇಪ್ತಾಹ, ಅಶ್ಣಾ, ನೆಜೀಬ್,
Iphtah, Ashnah, Nezib,
44 ಕೆಯೀಲಾ, ಅಕ್ಜೀಬ್, ಮಾರೇಷಾ, ಎಂಬ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು.
Keilah, Achzib, and Mareshah—nine cities, along with their villages.
45 ಎಕ್ರೋನ್ ಅದರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು ಸಹ.
Ekron, with its towns and villages;
46 ಎಕ್ರೋನಿನ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಸಮುದ್ರದವರೆಗೆ ಅಷ್ಡೋದಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು.
from Ekron to the sea, all the cities near Ashdod, along with their villages;

51 ಗೋಷೆನ್, ಹೋಲೋನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗಿಲೋ ಎಂಬ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಅವುಗಳ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು.
Goshen, Holon, and Giloh—eleven cities, along with their villages.

56 ಇಜ್ರೆಯೇಲ್, ಯೊಗ್ದೆಯಾಮ್, ಜಾನೋಹ,
Jezreel, Jokdeam, Zanoah,

Maarath, Beth-anoth, and Eltekon—six cities, along with their villages.
60 ಕಿರ್ಯತ್ ಯಾರೀಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಕಿರ್ಯತ್ ಬಾಳ್, ರಬ್ಬಾ ಎಂಬ ಎರಡು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು.
Kiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim), and Rabbah—two cities, along with their villages.
61 ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೇತ್ ಅರಾಬಾ, ಮಿದ್ದೀನ್, ಸೆಕಾಕಾ,
These were in the wilderness: Beth-arabah, Middin, Secacah,
