ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು 13

1 ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ದಿನತುಂಬಿದ ಮುದುಕನಾಗಲು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಈಗ ಮುದುಕನಾದಿ, ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳತಕ್ಕ ದೇಶಗಳು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಹಳ ಇವೆ.

Now Joshua was very old when Yahweh said to him, “You are very old, but there is still very much land to capture.

2 “ಅವು ಯಾವುವೆಂದರೆ: “ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಮತ್ತು ಗೆಷೂರ್ಯರ ದೇಶವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂದರೆ,

This is the land that still remains: All the regions of the Philistines, and all those of the Geshurites,

3 ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾದ ಶೀಹೋರ್ ನದಿಯಿಂದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಉತ್ತರ ಮೇರೆಯಾದ ಎಕ್ರೋನಿನವರೆಗೂ ಅಂದರೆ, ಗಾಜಾ, ಅಷ್ಡೋದ್, ಅಷ್ಕೆಲೋನ್, ಗಾತ್, ಎಕ್ರೋನ್ ಎಂಬುವ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಐದು ಮಂದಿ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅವ್ವೀಯರ ಸೀಮೆ;

from Shihor, which is east of Egypt, and northward to the border of Ekron, which is considered property of the Canaanites; the five rulers of the Philistines, those of Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gath, and Ekron—the territory of the Avvites.

4 ಸೀದೋನ್ಯರ ಆರಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಿಂದ ಅಫೇಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಮೇರೆಯವರೆಗೆ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶವು,

In the south (the territory of the Avvites); all the lands of the Canaanites, from Arah that belongs to the Sidonians, as far as Aphek which is on the border of the Amorites;

5 ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗೆಬಾಲ್ಯರ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯ, ಹೆರ್ಮೋನ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇರುವ ಬಾಲ್ಗಾದಿನಿಂದ ಹಮಾತಿನ ದಾರಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರದೇಶ.

the land of the Gebalites, all of Lebanon toward the east, from Baal Gad below Mount Hermon to Lebo Hamath.

6 “ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಲೆಬನೋನಿನಿಂದ ಮಿಸ್ರೆಫೋತ್ಮಯಿಮಿನವರೆಗೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೀದೋನ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು. ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀನು ಚೀಟುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಿ ಪಾಲು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.

Also, all the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon as far as Misrephoth Maim, including all the people of Sidon. I will drive them out before the army of Israel. Be sure to assign the land to Israel as an inheritance, as I commanded you.

7 ಈಗ ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಒಂಬತ್ತು ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಿಗೂ ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಕುಲದ ಅರ್ಧ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಿ ಪಾಲು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

Divide this land as an inheritance to the nine tribes and to the half tribe of Manasseh.”

8 ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಕುಲದ ಉಳಿದ ಅರ್ಧ ಗೋತ್ರದವರೂ ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರೂ ಗಾದ್ಯರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿ ಆಚೆ ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಿದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲಾದವು. ಅವುಗಳು ಯಾವುವೆಂದರೆ:

With the other half of the tribe of Manasseh, the Reubenites and the Gadites had received their inheritance that Moses gave them on the east side of the Jordan,

9 ಅರ್ನೋನ್ ಕಣಿವೆಯ ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅರೋಯೇರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಮತ್ತು ಅದೇ ಕಣಿವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ದೀಬೋನಿನವರೆಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಮೇದೆಬಾದ ಸಮನಾದ ಭೂಮಿಯೂ

from Aroer, which is on the edge of the Arnon river gorge (including the city that is in the middle of the gorge), to all the plateau of Medeba as far as Dibon;

10 ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳಿದ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸ ಸೀಹೋನನಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರ ಮೇರೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಇದ್ದ ಸಕಲ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು.

all the cities of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who ruled in Heshbon, to the border of the Ammonites;

11 ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್, ಗೆಷೂರ್ಯರ, ಮಾಕಾತೀಯರ ಮೇರೆಯೂ ಹೆರ್ಮೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಸಲೆಕಾವರೆಗೆ ಇರುವ ಇಡೀ ಬಾಷಾನ್ ಪೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ.

Gilead, and the region of the Geshurites and Maacathites, all of Mount Hermon, all Bashan to Salekah;

12 ಅಂದರೆ, ಬಾಷಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಷ್ಟಾರೋತ್, ಎದ್ರೈ ಎಂಬ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳಿದ ರೆಫಾಯರ ವಂಶಸ್ಥನಾದ ಓಗನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ರಾಜ್ಯವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇವುಗಳೇ. ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.

all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and Edrei—these are what was left of the remnant of the Rephaim—Moses struck them and drove them out.

13 ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಗೆಷೂರ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಮಾಕತೀಯರನ್ನೂ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಗೆಷೂರ್ಯರೂ ಮಾಕಾತೀಯರೂ ಈ ದಿನದವರೆಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

But the people of Israel did not drive out the Geshurites or the Maacathites. Instead, Geshur and Maacath live among Israel to this day.

14 ಆದರೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಯಾವ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರೇ ಅವರ ಸೊತ್ತು.

To the tribe of Levi alone Moses gave no inheritance. The offerings of Yahweh, the God of Israel, made by fire, are their inheritance, as God said to Moses.

15 ಮೋಶೆಯು ರೂಬೇನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸೊತ್ತು ಇವು:

Moses gave an inheritance to the tribe of Reuben, clan by clan.

16 ಅರ್ನೋನ್ ಕಣಿವೆಯ ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅರೋಯೇರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು, ಮೇದೆಬಾದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಕಲ ಸಮನಾದ ಭೂಮಿಯೂ,

Their territory was from Aroer, on the edge of the Arnon River gorge, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plateau by Medeba.

17 ಸಮನಾದ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಾದ ದೀಬೋನ್, ಬಾಮೋತ್ ಬಾಳ್, ಬೇತ್ ಬಾಳ್ ಮೆಯೋನ್,

Reuben also received Heshbon and all its cities that are in the plateau, Dibon, and Bamoth Baal, and Beth Baal Meon,

18 ಯಹಚ, ಕೆದೇಮೋತ್, ಮೇಫಾತ್,

and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,

19 ಕಿರ್ಯಾತಯಿಮ್, ಸಿಬ್ಮಾ, ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚೆರೆತ್ ಶಹರ್,

and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth Shahar on the hill of the valley.

20 ಬೇತ್ ಪೆಗೋರ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ ಪಿಸ್ಗಾದ ಕೆಳಗಡೆ ಇರುವ ಸೀಮೆ, ಬೇತ್ ಯೆಷೀಮೋತ್,

Reuben also received Beth Peor, the slopes of Pisgah, Beth Jeshimoth,

21 ಸಮನಾದ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳಿದ ಸೀಹೋನೆಂಬ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸನ ರಾಜ್ಯವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಅವರ ಮೇರೆಗೊಳಗಾದವು. ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವನನ್ನೂ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾದಂಥ ಮಿದ್ಯಾನಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಾದ ಎವೀ, ರೆಕೆಮ್, ಚೂರ್, ಹೂರ್, ರೆಬಾ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನೂ ಸೆದೆಬಡಿದನು.

all the cities of the plateau, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who had reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses had defeated together with the leaders of Midian, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur and Reba, the princes of Sihon, who had lived in the land.

22 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದ ಇತರರ ಸಂಗಡ ಬೆಯೋರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಿಳಾಮನೆಂಬ ಕಣಿ ಹೇಳುವವನನ್ನು ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು.

The people of Israel also killed with the sword Balaam son of Beor, who practiced divination, among the rest of those they had killed.

23 ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯು ರೂಬೇನ್ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಮೇರೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ ಇವುಗಳ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳೂ ರೂಬೇನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ದೊರಕಿದ ಸೊತ್ತು.

The border of the tribe of Reuben is the Jordan River; this is their boundary. This was the inheritance of the tribe of Reuben, given to each of their clans, with their cities and villages.

24 ಮೋಶೆಯು ಗಾದನ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸೊತ್ತು ಇವು:

This is what Moses gave to the tribe of Gad, clan by clan:

25 ಯಜ್ಜೇರ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶ, ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ ರಬ್ಬಾ ಊರಿನ ಎದುರಾಗಿರುವ ಅರೋಯೇರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರ ಅರ್ಧ ದೇಶವು.

Their territory was Jazer, all the cities of Gilead and half the land of the Ammonites, to Aroer, which is east of Rabbah,

26 ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನಿಂದ ರಾಮತ್ ಮಿಚ್ಪೆ, ಬೆಟೊನೀಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಊರುಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಮಹನಯಿಮಿನಿಂದ ದೆಬೀರ್ ಮೇರೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ದೇಶವು.

from Heshbon to Ramath Mizpah and Betonim, from Mahanaim to the territory of Debir.

27 ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೇತ್‌ಹಾರಾಮ್, ಬೇತ್ ನಿಮ್ರಾ, ಸುಕ್ಕೋತ್, ಚಾಪೋನ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನ ಉಳಿದ ರಾಜ್ಯವೂ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿ ತೀರವಾಗಿ ಕಿನ್ನೆರೆತ್ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಪರ್ಯಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಇರುವ ದೇಶವು ಅವರ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾದವು.

In the valley, Moses gave them Beth Haram, Beth Nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, with the Jordan as a border, to the lower end of the Sea of Kinnereth, eastward beyond the Jordan.

28 ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ, ಇವುಗಳ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳೂ ಗಾದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಿವೆ.

This is the inheritance of the tribe of Gad, clan by clan, with their cities and villages.

29 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಅರ್ಧ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸೊತ್ತು ಇವು:

Moses gave an inheritance to the half tribe of Manasseh. It was assigned to the half tribe of the people of Manasseh, clan by clan.

30 ಮಹನಯಿಮಿನಿಂದ ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಓಗನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ರಾಜ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವ ಬಾಷಾನೆಲ್ಲವೂ, ಬಾಷಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯಾಯೀರನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಊರುಗಳಾದ ಅರವತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ ಅವರ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾದವು.

Their territory was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities;

31 ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ಅರ್ಧ ಭಾಗ, ಬಾಷಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಓಗ್ ರಾಜನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಾದ ಅಷ್ಟಾರೋತ್, ಎದ್ರೈ, ಇವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಮಗ ಮಾಕೀರನ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಕೀರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

half of Gilead, and Ashtaroth and Edrei (the royal cities of Og in Bashan). These were assigned to the clan of Machir son of Manasseh—half of the people of Machir, clan by clan.

32 ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಗೆ ಆಚೆ ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿನ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರ ಬಯಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಾಗಿ ಹಂಚಿದ ದೇಶಗಳು ಇವೆ.

This is the inheritance that Moses assigned to them on the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan east of Jericho.

33 ಆದರೆ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಯಾವ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ಅವರ ಸೊತ್ತು.

Moses did not give an inheritance to the tribe of Levi. Yahweh, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, just as he said to them.
