ಯೋಬನು 5
1 “ಈಗ ನೀನು ಕರೆದರೆ, ನಿನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವವರು ಇದ್ದಾರೋ? ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೀನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ?
Call now; is there any that will answer thee? And to which of the holy ones wilt thou turn?
2 ಮೂಢನನ್ನು ಅಸಮಾಧಾನವು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವುದು; ಮುಗ್ಧನನ್ನು ಅಸುಹೆ ಸಾಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು.
For anger killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one.
3 ಮೂಢನು ಬೇರೂರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು, ಕೂಡಲೇ ಅವನ ಮನೆ ಶಾಪಕ್ಕಿಡಾಗುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು.
I have seen the foolish taking root; but suddenly I beheld his habitation cursed.
4 ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಭದ್ರತೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವರಾಗುವರು; ಬಿಡಿಸತಕ್ಕವರಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ನ್ಯಾಯಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋತುಹೋಗುವರು.
His children are far from safety, and are crushed in the gate, with none to deliver them.
5 ಹಸಿದವರು ಅವನ ಪೈರನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಡುವರು; ಮುಳ್ಳುಬೇಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ಅವನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಾಯಾರಿಕೆಯಾದವರು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವರು.
Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the snare gapeth for their substance.
6 ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ತೊಂದರೆ ಮೊಳೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
For affliction cometh not forth from the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
7 ಆದರೂ ಕಿಡಿಗಳು ಹಾರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಶ್ರಮೆಹೊಂದಲು ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ.
But man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.
8 “ನಾನು ನೀನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ದೇವರಿಗೇ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ; ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಇಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ.
But as for me, I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause;
9 ದೇವರು ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗದಷ್ಟು ಮಹಾಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅಸಂಖ್ಯವಾದ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Who doeth great things and unsearchable, marvellous things without number;
10 ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಳೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಹೊಲಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields;
11 ದೇವರು ತಗ್ಗಿದವರನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತದಲ್ಲಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ದುಃಖವುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಭದ್ರತೆಗೆ ಒಯ್ಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
So that He setteth up on high those that are low, and those that mourn are exalted to safety.
12 ದೇವರು ವಂಚಕರ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಭಂಗಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರ ಕೈಗಳು ಯಾವುದೇ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
He frustrateth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands can perform nothing substantial.
13 ದೇವರು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಯುಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಕುತಂತ್ರಿಯ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರರ್ಥಕಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
He taketh the wise in their own craftiness; and the counsel of the wily is carried headlong.
14 ಕುತಂತ್ರರು ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಂತೆ ತಡಕಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
They meet with darkness in the day-time, and grope at noonday as in the night.
15 ದೇವರು ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವರನ್ನು ದಬ್ಬಾಳಿಕೆಮಾಡುವವರ ಬಾಯಿಯೆಂಬ ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದಲೂ, ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
But He saveth from the sword of their mouth, even the needy from the hand of the mighty.
16 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯುಂಟಾಗುವುದು; ಅನ್ಯಾಯವು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth.
17 “ಇಗೋ, ದೇವರು ಗದರಿಸುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಧನ್ಯನು; ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಬೇಡ.
Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth; therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty.
18 ಗಾಯ ಮಾಡುವವರೂ ಗಾಯ ಕಟ್ಟುವವರೂ ದೇವರೇ; ಹೊಡೆಯುವುದೂ ಗುಣಪಡಿಸುವುದೂ ದೇವರ ಕೈಯೇ.
For He maketh sore, and bindeth up; He woundeth, and His hands make whole.
19 ದೇವರು ಆರು ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟುಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವರು; ಹೌದು, ಏಳರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೇಡು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದು.
He will deliver thee in six troubles; yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
20 ಬರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರಣದೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ, ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಖಡ್ಗದ ಬಲದಿಂದಲೂ ದೇವರು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸುವರು.
In famine He will redeem thee from death; and in war from the power of the sword.
21 ನೀನು ನಾಲಿಗೆಯೆಂಬ ಚಾಟಿಹೊಡೆತಕ್ಕೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರುವೆ; ನಾಶ ಬಂದಾಗ ನೀನು ಭಯಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue; neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.
22 ನೀನು ನಾಶಕ್ಕೂ, ಕ್ಷಾಮಕ್ಕೂ ನಗುವೆ; ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೂ ನೀನು ಭಯಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh; neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
23 ಹೊಲದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿನಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಇರುವುದು; ಕಾಡು ಮೃಗಗಳೂ ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿರುವವು.
For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field; and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.
24 ನಿನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರವು ಕ್ಷೇಮವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವಾಗ ಏನೂ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
And thou shalt know that thy tent is in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt miss nothing.
25 ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನಂತಿದೆ ಎಂದೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ.
Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth.
26 ಸಿವುಡು ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಸೇರುವಂತೆ ನೀನು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಾಯದವನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಸೇರುವೆ.
Thou shalt come to thy grave in a ripe age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in its season.
27 “ಇದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಇದು ಸತ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು, ಇದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಕೇಳಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ, ಇದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಅನ್ವಯಿಸು.”
Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.
