ಯೋಬನು 40
1 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಯೋಬನಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಇಂತೆಂದರು:
Moreover Jehovah answered Job, and said,
2 “ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರಾದ ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೇ ತಪ್ಪು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯುವ ನೀನು, ದೇವರಿಗೇ ಪಾಠ ಕಲಿಸಿಕೊಡುವೆಯಾ? ದೇವರ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಆರೋಪಿಸುವ ನೀನು ಈಗ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡು!”
Shall he that cavilleth contend with the Almighty? He that argueth with God, let him answer it.
3 ಆಗ ಯೋಬನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ,
Then Job answered Jehovah, and said,
4 “ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ನಾನು ಅಯೋಗ್ಯ, ತಮಗೆ ಏನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಲಿ? ಬಾಯಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಯಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer thee? I lay my hand upon my mouth.
5 ಒಂದು ಸಾರಿ ಮಾತಾಡಿದೆ, ಈಗ ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಮತ್ತೆ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಆದರೆ ಮಾತಾಡಲು ನನಗೆ ಇನ್ನೇನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದನು.
Once have I spoken, and I will not answer; Yea, twice, but I will proceed no further.
6 ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಯೋಬನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
Then Jehovah answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
7 “ಈಗ ಶೂರನಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ನಡು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೋ; ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡು.
Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
8 “ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀಯೋ? ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಪರಾಧಿ ಎಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸುತ್ತೀಯೋ?
Wilt thou even annul my judgment? Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?
9 ದೇವರಾದ ನನಗಿರುವ ಭುಜಬಲ ನಿನಗಿದೆಯೋ? ನನ್ನ ಧ್ವನಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ಗುಡುಗಬಲ್ಲೆಯೋ?
Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
10 ಹಾಗಾದರೆ, ಮಹಿಮೆ ಘನತೆಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿಕೋ; ನೀನು ಗೌರವ ಪ್ರಭಾವಗಳನ್ನೂ ಧರಿಸಿಕೋ.
Deck thyself now with excellency and dignity; And array thyself with honor and majesty.
11 ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡುಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗರ್ವಿಷ್ಠರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸು.
Pour forth the overflowings of thine anger; And look upon every one that is proud, and abase him.
12 ಹೌದು, ಗರ್ವಿಷ್ಠರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೋಡಿ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಬಿಡು; ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಅವರು ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಡು.
Look on every one that is proud, [and] bring him low; And tread down the wicked where they stand.
13 ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಸಿಬಿಡು; ಅಂಧಕಾರ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಸುಕುಹಾಕು.
Hide them in the dust together; Bind their faces in the hidden [place].
14 ನೀನು ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಬಲ್ಲದೆಂದು ನಾನೇ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
Then will I also confess of thee That thine own right hand can save thee.
15 “ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಗೆ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಮಾಡಿದ ನೀರಾನೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡು; ಅದು ಎತ್ತಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತದೆ.
Behold now, behemoth, which I made as well as thee; He eateth grass as an ox.
16 ಅದರ ಸೊಂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಥಾ ಬಲ ಅಡಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದರ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯ ನರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಎಂಥಾ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿದೆ!
Lo now, his strength is in his loins, And his force is in the muscles of his belly.
17 ನೀರಾನೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಲವನ್ನು ದೇವದಾರು ಮರದಂತೆ ಬಗ್ಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದರ ತೊಡೆಯ ನರಗಳೋ ಹೆಣೆದುಕೊಂಡಿವೆ.
He moveth his tail like a cedar: The sinews of his thighs are knit together.
18 ಅದರ ಮೂಳೆಗಳು ಕಂಚಿನ ಸಲಿಕೆಗಳಂತೆ ಬಲವಾಗಿವೆ; ಅದರ ಕೈಕಾಲುಗಳು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಕಂಬಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.
His bones are [as] tubes of brass; His limbs are like bars of iron.
19 ದೇವರ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು; ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತ ದೇವರು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೋರೆಹಲ್ಲಿನ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
He is the chief of the ways of God: He [only] that made him giveth him his sword.
20 ಪರ್ವತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇವು ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆಡುತ್ತವೆ.
Surely the mountains bring him forth food, Where all the beasts of the field do play.
21 ನೀರಾನೆಯು ತಾವರೆ ಗಿಡಗಳಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆಪಿನ ಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಜವುಗು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಿಶ್ರಮಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.
He lieth under the lotus-trees, In the covert of the reed, and the fen.
22 ತಾವರೆ ಎಲೆಗಳು ನೆರಳನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹರಡುತ್ತವೆ; ನದಿಯ ನೀರವಂಜಿ ಮರಗಳು ಅದನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ.
The lotus-trees cover him with their shade; The willows of the brook compass him about.
23 ಹೊಳೆ ಉಕ್ಕಿ ಬಂದರೂ ನೀರಾನೆಯು ಹೆದರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿ ಅದರ ಬಾಯೊಳಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿದರೂ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದಿರುವುದು.
Behold, if a river overflow, he trembleth not; He is confident, though a Jordan swell even to his mouth.
24 ಅದು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯಬಲ್ಲರೋ? ಅದರ ಮೂಗನ್ನು ಗಾಳದಿಂದ ಚುಚ್ಚಬಲ್ಲರೋ?
Shall any take him when he is on the watch, Or pierce through his nose with a snare?
