ಯೋಬನು 39
1 “ಕಾಡುಮೇಕೆಗಳು ಈಯುವ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವೆಯಾ? ಜಿಂಕೆಗಳ ಹೆರಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರುವೆಯಾ?
Whethir thou knowist the tyme of birthe of wielde geet in stoonys, ethir hast thou aspied hyndis bryngynge forth calues?
2 ಅವುಗಳ ಗರ್ಭ ತುಂಬುವ ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿರುವೆಯಾ? ಅವು ಈಯುವ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವಿಯೋ?
Hast thou noumbrid the monethis of her conseyuyng, and hast thou knowe the tyme of her caluyng?
3 ಅವು ಬಗ್ಗಿ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕುತ್ತವೆ; ಅದರ ಪ್ರಸವ ವೇದನೆಯನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಡುತ್ತವೆ.
Tho ben bowid to the calf, and caluen; and senden out roryngis.
4 ಅವುಗಳ ಮರಿಗಳು ಪುಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತವೆ; ಅವು ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಅಗಲಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
Her calues ben departid, and goen to pasture; tho goen out, and turnen not ayen to `tho hyndis.
5 “ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಗೆ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟವರು ಯಾರು? ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಯ ಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿದವರು ಯಾರು?
Who let go the wielde asse fre, and who loside the boondis of hym?
6 ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು ನಾನೇ. ಸವಳುಬಯಲನ್ನು ಅದರ ವಾಸ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದು ನಾನೇ.
To whom Y haue youe an hows in wildirnesse, and the tabernacles of hym in the lond of saltnesse.
7 ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗದ್ದಲವನ್ನು ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಯು ಧಿಕ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದು ಓಡಿಸುವವನ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
He dispisith the multitude of citee; he herith not the cry of an axere.
8 ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದರ ಮೇವು; ಹಸುರಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುವುದು.
He lokith aboute the hillis of his lesewe, and he sekith alle greene thingis.
9 “ಕಾಡುಕೋಣವು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಎಂದಾದರೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿದೆಯೆ? ಅದು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಗೋದಲಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆಯೆ?
Whether an vnycorn schal wilne serue thee, ethir schal dwelle at thi cratche?
10 ಕಾಡುಕೋಣವನ್ನು ಹಗ್ಗದಿಂದ ನೇಗಿಲ ಸಾಲಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವೆಯಾ? ಅದು ಕಣಿವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಕುಂಟೆ ಎಳೆಯುವುದೆ?
Whether thou schalt bynde the vnicorn with thi chayne, for to ere, ethir schal he breke the clottis of valeis aftir thee?
11 ಅದರ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನೇ ನಂಬಿರುವೆಯಾ? ನಿನ್ನ ಭಾರವಾದ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆಯಾ?
Whether thou schalt haue trist in his grete strengthe, and schalt thou leeue to hym thi traueils?
12 ಅದು ನಿನ್ನ ಧಾನ್ಯ ತೆನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮನೆಗೆ ತರುವುದೆಂದು ನಂಬುವೆಯಾ? ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಳು ಕೂಡಿಸುವದೆಂದೂ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆಯಾ?
Whether thou schalt bileue to hym, that he schal yelde seed to thee, and schal gadere togidere thi cornfloor?
13 “ಉಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ರೆಕ್ಕೆ ಬಡಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೂ ಕೊಕ್ಕರೆಯ ರೆಕ್ಕೆ ಗರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೋಲಿಸಲಾಗದು.
The fethere of an ostriche is lijk the fetheris of a gerfawcun, and of an hauk;
14 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಉಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಕೇವಲ ಮರಳಿನಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾವು ಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ.
which ostrige forsakith hise eirun in the erthe, in hap thou schalt make tho hoot in the dust.
15 ಜನರು ಕಾಲಿನಿಂದ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಯಾರು, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕಾಡುಮೃಗ ಅದನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತುಳಿದೀತು ಎಂಬ ಚಿಂತೆ ಆ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲ.
He foryetith, that a foot tredith tho, ethir that a beeste of the feeld al tobrekith tho.
16 ತನ್ನ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನವುಗಳಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಕ್ರೂರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಉಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಹೆರಿಗೆ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿಂತೆ ಇಲ್ಲ.
He is maad hard to hise briddis, as if thei ben not hise; he traueilide in veyn, while no drede constreynede.
17 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ಉಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿ, ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲವಷ್ಟೆ.
For God hath priued hym fro wisdom, and `yaf not vnderstondyng to hym.
18 ಆದರೂ ಆ ಪಕ್ಷಿ ತನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಡಿ ಓಡಿದಾಗ, ಅದು ಕುದುರೆ ಸವಾರನನ್ನು ಸಹ ನೋಡಿ ಅಣಕಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
Whanne tyme is, he reisith the wengis an hiy; he scorneth the hors, and his ridere.
19 “ಯೋಬನೇ, ಕುದುರೆಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟವನು ನೀನೋ? ಅದರ ಕೊರಳಿಗೆ ಜುಟ್ಟುಗುಡುಗನ್ನು ಹೊದಿಸಿದವನು ನೀನೋ?
Whether thou schalt yyue strengthe to an hors, ether schal yyue neiyng `aboute his necke?
20 ಮಿಡತೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಾರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ನೀನೋ? ಅದರ ಕೆನೆತದ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಭಯಂಕರವಾಗಿದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ?
Whether thou schalt reyse hym as locustis? The glorie of hise nosethirlis is drede.
21 ಕುದುರೆಯು ನೆಲವನ್ನು ಕೆರೆಯುತ್ತಾ ತನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಸನ್ನದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಹೊರಡುತ್ತದೆ.
He diggith erthe with the foot, he `fulli ioieth booldli; he goith ayens armed men.
22 ಭಯವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ನಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆದರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಖಡ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹ ಹಿಂದೆಗೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
He dispisith ferdfulnesse, and he yyueth not stide to swerd.
23 ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬತ್ತಳಿಕೆಯೂ, ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸುವ ಭಲ್ಲೆಯೂ, ಭರ್ಜಿಯೂ ಥಳಥಳಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
An arowe caas schal sowne on hym; a spere and scheeld schal florische.
24 ಕುದುರೆ ಕಹಳೆಯ ನಾದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೂ ಭೀಕರ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲನುಂಗುವಂತೆ ನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಓಡುತ್ತದೆ.
He is hoot, and gnastith, and swolewith the erthe; and he arettith not that the crie of the trumpe sowneth.
25 ರಣಕಹಳೆ ಮೊಳಗಿದಾಗ ಕುದುರೆ ಕೆನೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದು ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಗರ್ಜನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕಾಳಗದ ಆರ್ಭಟವನ್ನೂ ದೂರದಿಂದಲೇ ಮೂಸಿ ನೋಡಿ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.
Whanne he herith a clarioun, he `seith, Joie! he smellith batel afer; the excityng of duykis, and the yellyng of the oost.
26 “ಯೋಬನೇ, ಗಿಡುಗವು ತನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಡಿ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹಾರುವುದು ನಿನ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದಲೋ?
Whether an hauk spredinge abrood hise wyngis to the south, bigynneth to haue fetheris bi thi wisdom?
27 ರಣಹದ್ದು ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾರುವುದೂ, ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೂಡುಕಟ್ಟುವುದು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಿಂದಲೋ?
Whether an egle schal be reisid at thi comaundement, and schal sette his nest in hiy places?
28 ಅದು ಬಂಡೆಯ ಸಂದುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಶಿಲಾಶಿಖರದ ದುರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅದು ತಂಗುತ್ತದೆ.
He dwellith in stoonys, and he dwellith in flyntis brokun bifor, and in rochis, to whiche `me may not neiye.
29 ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದಲೇ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ದೂರದಿಂದಲೇ ನೋಡುತ್ತವೆ.
Fro thennus he biholdith mete, and hise iyen loken fro fer.
30 ಅದರ ಮರಿಗಳು ತಂದ ಬೇಟೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಡುತ್ತವೆ; ಹೆಣ ಬಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ರಣಹದ್ದು ಇರುವುದು.”
Hise briddis souken blood, and where euere a careyn is, anoon he is present.
