ಯೋಬನು 19
1 ಯೋಬನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
Then Job answered and said,
2 “ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ನೋಯಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಜಜ್ಜುವಿರಿ?
How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words?
3 ಈಗ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾರಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನಾಚಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕ್ರಮಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ.
These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed [that] ye make yourselves strange to me.
4 ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮಗೇನು? ನನ್ನ ತಪ್ಪು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಲಿ.
And be it indeed [that] I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself.
5 ನೀವು ನನಗಿಂತ ಉತ್ತಮರು ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನನಗಾದ ಹೀನಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ.
If indeed ye will magnify [yourselves] against me, and plead against me my reproach:
6 ದೇವರಿಂದಲೇ ನನಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ; ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲೆಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಸಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿ.
Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net.
7 “‘ಹಿಂಸೆ,’ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವವರಿಲ್ಲ; ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟರೂ ನ್ಯಾಯ ದೊರಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but [there is] no judgment.
8 ನಾನು ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ದಾರಿಗೆ ಬೇಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಹಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಲು ಕವಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.
9 ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಘನತೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown [from] my head.
10 ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ದಾಳಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ನಾನು ಕ್ಷಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಮರವನ್ನು ಕೀಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree.
11 ದೇವರ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಿದೆ; ನಾನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವೈರಿಯಂತೆ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as [one of] his enemies.
12 ದೇವರ ಸೇನೆ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದಿಬ್ಬನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ನನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇಳಿದಿವೆ.
His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle.
13 “ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಅಗಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಚಿತರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.
14 ನನ್ನ ಬಂಧುಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಆಪ್ತ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.
15 ನನ್ನ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು, ನನ್ನ ದಾಸದಾಸಿಯರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯನೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಪರದೇಶದವನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ.
They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.
16 ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನು ಕರೆದರೂ, ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿತೆರೆದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ಅವನು ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
I called my servant, and he gave [me] no answer; I intreated him with my mouth.
17 ನನ್ನ ಶ್ವಾಸವು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ, ನನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಹೇಸಿಕೆಯಾದೆ.
My breath is strange to my wife, though I intreated for the children’s [sake] of mine own body.
18 ಚಿಕ್ಕವರೂ ಸಹ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಾನು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me.
19 ನನ್ನ ಆಪ್ತ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅಸಹ್ಯಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಿದವರೇ ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me.
20 ನಾನು ಕೇವಲ ಎಲುಬೂ ತೊಗಲೂ ಆಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಹಲ್ಲು ಚರ್ಮದಿಂದಲೇ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.
My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.
21 “ಕನಿಕರಿಸಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸಿರಿ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರ ಕೈ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸಿದೆ.
Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.
22 ದೇವರಂತೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಹಿಂಸಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನನಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದು ಸಾಲದೋ?
Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?
23 “ಆಹಾ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ಆ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸುರುಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದರೆ,
Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!
24 ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಉಳಿಯಿಂದ ಬಂಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆತ್ತಿ, ಸೀಸೆ ಎರೆದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಶಾಸನವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳಿತು!
That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!
25 ನನ್ನ ವಿಮೋಚಕರು ಜೀವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಕಡೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ವಿಮೋಚಕರು ಬಂದು ನಿಲ್ಲುವರೆಂದೂ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
For I know [that] my redeemer liveth, and [that] he shall stand at the latter [day] upon the earth:
26 ನನ್ನ ಚರ್ಮವು ಬಿರಿದು ಹಾಳಾದ ಬಳಿಕವೂ, ನಾನು ದೇಹದಾರಿಯಾಗಿಯೇ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೋಡುವೆನು.
And [though] after my skin [worms] destroy this [body], yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27 ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಾನೇ ನೋಡುವೆನು; ಬೇರೆಯವರಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವೆನು; ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಹಂಬಲಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಹಾರೈಸುತ್ತಿದೆ!
Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; [though] my reins be consumed within me.
28 “‘ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೇ, ಅವನ ದುರ್ಗತಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣ ಅವನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದೆ, ನಾವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆಕೊಡೋಣ?’ ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ,
But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?
29 ನೀವು ಖಡ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಕ್ರೋಧವು ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ತರುವುದು. ಆಗ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪು ಉಂಟೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದು.”
Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath [bringeth] the punishments of the sword, that ye may know [there is] a judgment.
