ಯೋಬನು 13
1 “ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆ; ನನ್ನ ಕಿವಿ ಕೇಳಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
Lo! all this mine eye hath seen; Mine ear hath heard and understood it.
2 ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾನೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಾನು ನಿಮಗಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾದವನಲ್ಲ.
What ye know, I know also; I am not inferior to you.
3 ನಾನು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರ ಸಂಗಡ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವೆನು; ದೇವರ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾದಿಸಲು ನನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸುಂಟು.
But O that I might speak with the Almighty! O that I might reason with God!
4 ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವವರು; ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರು ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ವೈದ್ಯರೇ.
For ye are forgers of lies; Physicians of no value, all of you!
5 ನೀವು ಮೌನವಾಗಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳ್ಳೇದು; ಮೌನವೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವು.
O that ye would altogether hold your peace! This, truly, would be wisdom in you.
6 ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ವಾದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳ ತರ್ಕಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲೈಸಿರಿ.
Hear, I pray you, my arguments; Attend to the pleadings of my lips!
7 ದೇವರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತಾಡುವ ನೀವು ಅನ್ಯಾಯದಿಂದ ಮಾತಾಡುವಿರೋ? ದೇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾತಾಡುವ ನೀವು ವಂಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾತಾಡುವಿರೋ?
Will ye speak falsehood for God? Will ye utter deceit for him?
8 ನೀವು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವಿರೋ? ದೇವರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ನೀವು ವಾದಿಸುವಿರೋ?
Will ye be partial to his person? Will ye contend earnestly for God?
9 ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಿದರೆ, ಅದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದೋ? ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ನೀವೂ ದೇವರನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸುವಿರೋ?
Will it be well for you, if he search you thoroughly? Can ye deceive him, as one may deceive a man?
10 ನೀವು ರಹಸ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತಮಾಡಿದರೂ, ದೇವರು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸುವರು.
Surely he will rebuke you, If ye secretly have respect to persons.
11 ದೇವರ ವೈಭವವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ದೈವಭಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
Doth not his majesty make you afraid, And his dread fall upon you?
12 ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೀತಿವಚನಗಳು ಬೂದಿಯ ಗಾದೆಗಳು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಾದಗಳು ಬರೀ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಗೋಡೆಯೇ.
Your maxims are words of dust; Your fortresses are fortresses of clay.
13 “ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಬಿಡಿರಿ; ನನಗೇನಾದರೂ ಆಗಲಿ.
Hold your peace, and let me speak: And then come upon me what will!
14 ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಕಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆನು; ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆನು.
Why do I take my flesh in my teeth, And put my life in my hand?
15 ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದರೂ, ನಾನು ದೇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿಂದಿರುವೆನು; ನಾನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ನಡತೆಯ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯತನವನ್ನು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವೆನು.
Lo! he slayeth me, and I have no hope! Yet will I justify my ways before him.
16 ಇದೇ ನನ್ನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿರುವುದು; ಭಕ್ತಿಹೀನರು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬರಲು ಧೈರ್ಯಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
This also shall be my deliverance; For no unrighteous man will come before him.
17 ನನ್ನ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಕೇಳಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ದೃಢ ವಚನವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬೀಳಲಿ.
Hear attentively my words, And give ear to my declaration!
18 ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಕ್ರಮಪಡಿಸಿದೆನು; ನಾನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯ ಹೊಂದುವುದು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತೇ ಇದೆ.
Behold, I have now set in order my cause; I know that I am innocent.
19 ಯಾರಾದರೂ ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ದೂರನ್ನು ತರಬಹುದೋ? ಹಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾನು ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಸತ್ತು ಹೋಗುವೆನು.
Who is he that can contend with me? For then would I hold my peace, and die!
20 “ದೇವರೇ, ಈ ಎರಡು ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿರಿ; ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ:
Only do not unto me two things, Then will I not hide myself from thy presence;
21 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ದೂರಮಾಡಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭಯವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸದಿರಲಿ.
Let not thy hand be heavy upon me, And let not thy terrors make me afraid:
22 ಆಮೇಲೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದರೆ, ನಾನು ಉತ್ತರಿಸುವೆನು; ಅಥವಾ ನಾನು ಮಾತಾಡಿದರೆ, ನೀವು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಿರಿ.
Then call upon me, and I will answer; Or I will speak, and answer thou me.
23 ನಾನು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನೂ, ಪಾಪವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಡಿರಿ.
How many are my iniquities and sins? Make me to know my faults and transgressions.
24 ಏಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಏಕೆ ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ?
Wherefore dost thou hide thy face, And account me as thine enemy?
25 ಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹಾರಿಹೋಗುವ ಎಲೆಯನ್ನು ತೊಂದರೆಪಡಿಸುವಿರೋ? ಒಣಗಿದ ಕೊಳೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟುವಿರೋ?
Wilt thou put in fear the driven leaf? Wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?
26 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕಹಿಯಾದ ತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬರೆದಿರುವಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಯೌವನದ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಿರುವಿರಿ.
For thou writest bitter things against me, And makest me inherit the sins of my youth.
27 ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಕೋಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿಹಾಕಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಹಿಮ್ಮಡಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಗುರುತು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಹಾದಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನೋಡುತ್ತೀರಿ.
Yea, thou puttest my feet in the stocks, And waterest all my paths; Thou hemmest in the soles of my feet.
28 “ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮಾನವನು ಕೊಳೆತ ವಸ್ತುವಿನಂತೆಯೂ, ನುಸಿಹಿಡಿದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಂತೆಯೂ ಅಳಿದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
And I, like an abandoned thing, shall waste away; Like a garment which is moth-eaten.
