ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು 50

1 ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯರ ದೇಶವಾದ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನುಡಿಸಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯ ಇದು:

The word that YHWH has spoken concerning Babylon, concerning the land of the Chaldeans, by the hand of Jeremiah the prophet:

2 “ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಚುರಪಡಿಸಿರಿ, ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿರಿ; ಮರೆಮಾಡದೇ ಹೀಗೆ ಸಾರಿರಿ, ‘ಬಾಬಿಲೋನ್ ಶತ್ರುವಶವಾಯಿತು; ಬೇಲ್ ದೇವತೆಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಯಾಯಿತು; ಮೆರೋದಾಕ್ ತುಂಡುತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಮುರಿದು ಹೋದನು. ಅವಳ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ಭಯದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿವೆ.’

“Declare among nations, and sound, And lift up an ensign, sound, do not hide, Say, Babylon has been captured, Bel has been put to shame, Merodach has been broken, Her grievous things have been put to shame, Her idols have been broken.

3 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಉತ್ತರದಿಂದ ಅವಳ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಜನಾಂಗವು ಬರುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದು ಅವಳ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿಬಿಡುವುದು; ಅವಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ವಾಸಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಮನುಷ್ಯರೂ, ಮೃಗಗಳೂ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ತೊಲಗಿಬಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಓಡಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.

For a nation from the north has come up against her, It makes her land become a desolation, And there is not an inhabitant in it. From man even to beast, They have moved, they have gone.

4 “ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಬರುವರು; ಅವರೂ, ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೂ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ಅವರು ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವರು.

In those days, and at that time,” A declaration of YHWH, “Sons of Israel come in, They and sons of Judah together, Going on and weeping they go, And they seek their God YHWH.

5 ಚೀಯೋನಿನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅಭಿಮುಖರಾಗಿ ಅದರ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ಬನ್ನಿ; ಮರೆತು ಹೋಗದ ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ, ಅನ್ನುವರು.

They ask the way [to] Zion, Their faces [are] toward that place: Come in, and we are joined to YHWH, A perpetual covenant—never forgotten.

6 “ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ಕಳೆದುಹೋದ ಕುರಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರ ಕುರುಬರು ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು; ಅವರನ್ನು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ಅಡ್ಡಾಡಿಸಿದರು; ಅವರು ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಗುಡ್ಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು; ಮಲಗುವ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.

My people have been a perishing flock, Their shepherds have caused them to err, Causing them to go back [on] the mountains, They have gone from mountain to hill, They have forgotten their crouching-place.

7 ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅವರನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರ ಎದುರಾಳಿಗಳು, ‘ನಾವು ಅವರನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿದ್ದು ದೋಷವಲ್ಲ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀತಿಯ ನಿವಾಸವಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ, ಹೌದು, ಅವರ ಪೂರ್ವಜರ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ,’ ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡರು.

All finding them have devoured them, And their adversaries have said: We are not guilty, Because that they sinned against YHWH, The habitation of righteousness, And the hope of their fathers—YHWH.

8 “ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿರಿ; ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಸೀಮೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿರಿ; ಮಂದೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋತಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರಿ.

Move from the midst of Babylon, And go out from the land of the Chaldeans; And be as male goats before a flock.

9 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಉತ್ತರ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಸಭೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿ, ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಏಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವರು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅದು ಹಿಡಿಯಲಾಗುವುದು. ಅವರ ಬಾಣಗಳು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾದ ಪ್ರವೀಣ ಶೂರನಂತಿರುವುವು. ಯಾವುದೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗದು.

For behold, I am stirring up, And am causing to come up against Babylon, An assembly of great nations from [the] land of the north, And they have set in array against her, From there she is captured, Its arrow—as a skillful hero—does not return empty,

10 ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ದೇಶವು ಸುಲಿಗೆಯಾಗುವುದು; ಅದನ್ನು ಸುಲಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗುವುದು, ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

And Chaldea has been for a spoil, All her spoilers are satisfied,” A declaration of YHWH.

11 “ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದವರೇ, ನೀವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೂ, ನೀವು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೂ, ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಕಡಸಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಗರ್ವ ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದಲೂ, ಗಂಡು ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೂಂಕರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೂ,

“Because you rejoice, because you exult, O spoilers of My inheritance, Because you increase as a heifer [at] the tender grass, And cry aloud as bulls,

12 ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುವಳು; ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತವಳು ಲಜ್ಜೆ ಹೊಂದುವಳು; ಇಗೋ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು ಕಾಡೂ, ಒಣ ಭೂಮಿಯೂ, ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯೂ ಆಗುವುದು.

Your mother has been greatly ashamed, She who bore you has been confounded, Behold, the last of nations [is] a wilderness, A dry land, and a desert.

13 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ರೌದ್ರದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಹಾಳಾಗುವುದು; ಬಾಬಿಲೋನನ್ನು ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗಾಯಗಳ ವಿಷಯ ವಿಸ್ಮಯಪಟ್ಟು ಸಿಳ್ಳುಹಾಕುವರು.

Because of the wrath of YHWH it is not inhabited, And it has been a desolation—all of it. Everyone passing by at Babylon is astonished, And hisses because of all her plagues.

14 “ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಬಗ್ಗಿಸುವವರೇ, ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಯುದ್ಧ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಸೆಯಿರಿ; ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿತಲ್ಲಾ.

Set yourselves in array against Babylon all around, All you treading a bow, Shoot at her, have no pity on the arrow, For she has sinned against YHWH.

15 ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸಿರಿ; ಅದರ ಬುರುಜುಗಳು ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋದವು; ಅದರ ಪೌಳಿಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಲಾಯಿತು. ಅದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸಿರಿ. ಅದು ಇತರರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.

Shout against her all around, She has given forth her hand, Her foundations have fallen, Her walls have been thrown down, For it [is] the vengeance of YHWH, Be avenged of her, as she did—do to her.

16 ಬಿತ್ತುವವನನ್ನೂ, ಸುಗ್ಗಿಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡುಗೋಲು ಹಿಡಿಯುವವನನ್ನೂ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡಿರಿ; ಕಷ್ಟಪಡುವ ಖಡ್ಗದ ಭಯದಿಂದ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವರು.

Cut off the sower from Babylon, And him handling the sickle in the time of harvest, Because of the oppressing sword, Each to his people—they turn, And each to his land—they flee.

17 “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಚದರಿಹೋದ ಕುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ಸಿಂಹಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟವು; ಮೊದಲು ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯನ ಅರಸನು ಅವನನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಈ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಅವನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.”

Israel [is as] a scattered sheep, Lions have driven [him] away, At first, the king of Asshur devoured him, And now, at last, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has broken his bone.

18 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

Therefore, thus said YHWH of Hosts, God of Israel: Behold, I am seeing after the king of Babylon, And after his land, As I have seen after the king of Asshur;

19 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನನ್ನು ಅವನ ನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅವನು ಕರ್ಮೆಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಬಾಷಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮೇಯುವನು; ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತೃಪ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದುವುದು.”

And I have brought Israel back to his habitation, And he has fed on Carmel and on Bashan; And his soul is satisfied on Mount Ephraim and on Gilead.

20 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, “ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದರೂ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೂ ಇರದು; ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದರೂ ಅವು ಸಿಕ್ಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಉಳಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ಮನ್ನಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

In those days, and at that time,” A declaration of YHWH, “The iniquity of Israel is sought, and it is not, And the sin of Judah, and it is not found, For I am propitious to those whom I leave!

21 “ಮೆರಾಥಯಿಮ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ, ಪೆಕೋದಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ ದಂಡೆತ್ತಿ ಹೋಗು; ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಸಂಹರಿಸು. ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನಾಶಮಾಡು.” “ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡು, ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Against the land of Merathaim, go up against it, And to the inhabitants of Pekod, Dry up and devote their posterity,” A declaration of YHWH, “And do according to all that I have commanded you.

22 ಯುದ್ಧದ ಶಬ್ದವೂ, ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಾಶನವೂ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುದು.

A noise of battle [is] in the land, And of great destruction.

23 ಇಗೋ, ಲೋಕವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಡೆದ ಸುತ್ತಿಗೆಯು ಮುರಿದು ತುಂಡುತುಂಡಾಯಿತು! ಹೇಗೆ ಬಾಬೆಲ್ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಹಾಳಾಯಿತಲ್ಲಾ!

How it has been cut and broken, The hammer of the whole earth! How Babylon has been for a desolation among nations!

24 ನಾನು ಬೋನನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟೆನು; ಹೌದು, ಬಾಬಿಲೋನೇ ನೀನು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಕೊಂಡೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಇತ್ತು. ನೀನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಜಗಳವಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಕೊಂಡೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಶವಾದೆ.

I have laid a snare for you, And you are also captured, O Babylon, And you have known, You have been found, and are also caught, For you have stirred yourself up against YHWH.

25 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಆಯುಧ ಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು, ತನ್ನ ರೋಷದ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸವಿದೆ.

YHWH has opened His treasury, And He brings out the weapons of His indignation, For a work [is] to Lord YHWH of Hosts, In the land of the Chaldeans.

26 ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯ ಮೇರೆಯಿಂದ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬನ್ನಿ. ಅದರ ಕಣಜಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಿರಿ. ಅದನ್ನು ದಿಬ್ಬಗಳಂತೆ ತುಳಿಯಿರಿ. ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿರಿ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದೂ ಉಳಿಯದಿರಲಿ.

Come in to her from the extremity, Open her storehouses, Raise her up as heaps, and devote her, Let her have no remnant.

27 ಅದರ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಲ್ಲಿರಿ, ಅವು ವಧ್ಯಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ, ಅವುಗಳ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಿ! ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಪತ್ಕಾಲವು ಒದಗಿದೆ. ದಂಡನೆಯ ದಿನವು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ.

Slay all her cows, they go down to slaughter, Woe [is] on them, for their day has come, The time of their inspection.

28 ಅವರು ಚೀಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಆತನ ಆಲಯದ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವವರ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ.

A voice of fugitives and escaped ones [Is] from the land of Babylon, To declare in Zion the vengeance of our God YHWH, The vengeance of His temple.

29 “ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬಿಲ್ಲುಬಾಣಗಾರರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕರೆಯಿರಿ; ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲು ದಂಡಿಳಿಸಿರಿ ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಹಾಗಿರಲಿ. ಅದರ ಕೃತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸಿರಿ ಅದು ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು ಅಹಂಕಾರದಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅಸಡ್ಡೆಮಾಡಿತು.

Summon archers to Babylon, all treading the bow, Encamp against her all around, Let [her] have no escape; Repay to her according to her work, According to all that she did—do to her, For she has been proud against YHWH, Against the Holy One of Israel.

30 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅದರ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರು ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವರು; ಅದರ ಸೈನಿಕರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮ್ಮನಾಗುವರು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Therefore her young men fall in her broad places, And all her men of war are cut off in that day,” A declaration of YHWH.

31 “ಅತಿ ಗರ್ವಿಷ್ಠನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದಿವಸವೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯ ಕಾಲವೂ ಬಂತು.

“Behold, I [am] against you, O pride,” A declaration of Lord YHWH of Hosts, “For your day has come, the time of your inspection.

32 ಅಹಂಕಾರದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಎಡವಿ ಬೀಳುವುದು. ಅದನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಎತ್ತರು. ಅದರ ನಗರಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹೊತ್ತಿಸುವೆನು. ಅದು ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಣದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವುದು.”

And pride has stumbled, And he has fallen, and has none raising up, And I have kindled a fire in his cities, And it has devoured all around him.

33 ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೂ, ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೂ ಕೂಡ ಹಿಂಸೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಒಯ್ಯುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು, ಬಲವಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟುಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Thus said YHWH of Hosts: The sons of Israel are oppressed, And the sons of Judah together, And all their captors have kept hold on them, They have refused to send them away.

34 ಅವರ ವಿಮೋಚಕನು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನೇ, ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೆಂಬುದೇ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರು; ಅವರು ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ, ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಡುಗುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ, ಅವರ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತೀರಿಸುವರು.

Their Redeemer [is] strong, YHWH of Hosts [is] His Name, He thoroughly pleads their cause, So as to cause the land to rest, And He has given trouble to the inhabitants of Babylon.

35 “ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಲಿದೆ ಖಡ್ಗ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ಅದರ ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರನ್ನು, ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನು, ಪಂಡಿತರನ್ನು ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಹತಿಸಲಿದೆ ಖಡ್ಗ,

A sword [is] for the Chaldeans,” A declaration of YHWH, “And it [is] on the inhabitants of Babylon, And on her heads, and on her wise men;

36 ಸುಳ್ಳು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಖಡ್ಗ ಉಂಟು; ಅವರು ಮೂರ್ಖರಾಗುವರು; ಅದರ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಖಡ್ಗ ಉಂಟು; ಅವರು ಭಯಭ್ರಾಂತಿ ಪಡುವರು.

A sword [is] on the princes, And they have become foolish; A sword [is] on her mighty ones, And they have been broken down;

37 ಅದರ ಕುದುರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅವರ ರಥಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅವರೊಳಗಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಕಲ ಜನರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ ಖಡ್ಗ ಉಂಟು; ಅವರ ಹೆಂಗಸರಂತೆ ಅಶಕ್ತರಾಗುವರು; ಅದರ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಖಡ್ಗ ಉಂಟು; ಅವು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಾಗುವುವು.

A sword [is] on his horses and on his chariot, And on all the rabble who [are] in her midst, And they have become women; A sword [is] on her treasuries, And they have been spoiled;

38 ಬೇಗೆಯು ಅವರ ನೀರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೀರಲಿ; ಅದು ಬತ್ತಿಹೋಗುವುದು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳ ದೇಶವೇ, ಅವರು ಭಯಂಕರವಾದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದ ಹುಚ್ಚರಾದರು.

A sword [is] on her waters, and they have been dried up, For it [is] a land of carved images, And they boast themselves in idols.

39 “ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳು, ನರಿಗಳು ಕೂಡ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವುವು; ಉಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳೂ ಸಹ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವುವು; ತಲತಲಾಂತರಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಯಾರೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

Therefore desert-dwellers dwell with howlers, Indeed, daughters of the ostrich have dwelt in her, And it is not inhabited anymore forever, Nor dwelt in from generation to generation.

40 ನಾನು ಕೆಡವಿದ ಸೊದೋಮ್ ಗೊಮೋರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಣ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಎದೋಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾರೂ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ನರಪ್ರಾಣಿಯೂ ತಂಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.

As the overthrow by God of Sodom, And of Gomorrah, and of its neighbors,” A declaration of YHWH, “None dwell there, Nor does a son of man sojourn in her.

41 “ಇಗೋ, ಒಂದು ಜನಾಂಗವು ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ಬರುವುದು ಅನೇಕ ಅರಸರು ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಅವರು ಲೋಕದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Behold, a people has come from the north, Even a great nation, And many kings are stirred up from the sides of the earth.

42 ಅವರು ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನೂ, ಭಲ್ಲೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಕ್ರೂರರು, ಕನಿಕರ ತೋರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಶಬ್ದವು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಭೋರ್ಗರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಮಗಳೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೇ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವ ಶೂರರಂತೆ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

They seize bow and javelin, They [are] cruel, and they have no mercy, Their voice sounds as a sea, and they ride on horses, Set in array as a man for battle, Against you, O daughter of Babylon.

43 ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಅರಸನು ಅವರ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವನ ಕೈಗಳು ನಿತ್ರಾಣವಾದವು; ಸಂಕಟವೂ, ಹೆರುವ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಹಾಗೆ ನೋವೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದವು.

The king of Babylon has heard their report, And his hands have been feeble, Distress has seized him; pain as a travailing woman.

44 ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ದಟ್ಟ ಅಡವಿಯಿಂದ ಬಲವಾದ ಗೋಮಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಏರಿ ಬರುವನು; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯರನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು; ಅದನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನನ್ನೇ ನೇಮಿಸುವೆನು. ನನಗೆ ಸಮಾನನು ಯಾರು? ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೆ ಕರೆಯುವವನು ಯಾರು? ನನಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲತಕ್ಕ ಕುರುಬನು ಯಾರು?”

Behold, he comes up as a lion, Because of the rising of the Jordan, To the enduring habitation, But I cause to rest, I cause them to run from off her. And who is chosen? I lay a charge on her, For who [is] like Me? And who convenes Me? And who [is] this shepherd who stands before Me?

45 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಅವರು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯರ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ, ಹಿಂಡಿನ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವವು; ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ, ಅವುಗಳ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲು ಅವುಗಳ ನಾಶನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೆದರುವುದು.

Therefore, hear the counsel of YHWH, That He counseled concerning Babylon, And His plans that He has devised Concerning the land of the Chaldeans; Do little ones of the flock not drag them out, Does He not make the habitation desolate over them?

46 ಬಾಬಿಲೋನು ಶತ್ರುವಶ ಆಯಿತೆಂಬ ಕೋಲಾಹಲಕ್ಕೆ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಕಂಪಿಸುವುದು; ಅದರ ಕೂಗು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಕೇಳಬಂತು.

From the sound of Babylon having been captured, The earth has been shaken, And a cry has been heard among nations!”
