ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು 23
1 “ನನ್ನ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲಿನ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿ ಚದರಿಸುವ ಕುರುಬರಿಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ!” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.
2 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸುವ ಕುರುಬರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸಿ ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ ತೋರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.
3 “ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಮಂದೆಯ ಶೇಷವನ್ನು, ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಹಟ್ಟಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ತರುವೆನು. ಅವರು ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರು.
And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.
4 ಅವರನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸತಕ್ಕ ಕುರುಬರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವರು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಭಯಪಡುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಅಂಜುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಕೊರತೆ ಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.
5 “ಇಗೋ, ದಿನಗಳು ಬರಲಿವೆ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ಆಗ ನಾನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ನೀತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಕೊಂಬೆಯನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಒಬ್ಬ ಅರಸನು ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನಾಳಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುವನು. ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನೂ, ನೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಸುವನು.
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
6 ಆತನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತರಾಗಿರುವರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಿಂದ ವಾಸಿಸುವರು. ಯೆಹೋವ ಚಿದ್ಕೇನು ಎಂದರೆ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಸದ್ಧರ್ಮ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ಅವರಿಗಿರುವುದು.
In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this [is] his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
7 “ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ದಿನಗಳು ಬರಲಿವೆ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ಆಗ, ‘ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
8 ಆದರೆ, ‘ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರ ದೇಶದಿಂದಲೂ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವರು.”
But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
9 ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ: ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುರಿದಿದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕದಲುತ್ತವೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ, ಆತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ, ಮತ್ತನಾದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾದ ಪುರುಷನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ.
Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.
10 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇಶವು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ. ದೇಶವು ಶಾಪದಿಂದ ದುಃಖಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯ ಮನೋಹರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಗಿವೆ. ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force [is] not right.
11 “ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೂ ಯಾಜಕನೂ ಕೂಡ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟರೇ. ಹೌದು, ನನ್ನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.
12 “ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜಾರುವ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಹಾಗಿರುವುದು. ಅವರು ಮುಗ್ಗರಿಸಿಬೀಳುವರು. ನಾನು ಕೇಡನ್ನು ದಂಡನೆಯ ವರ್ಷವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery [ways] in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, [even] the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
13 “ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹ್ಯಕರ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವರು ಬಾಳನಿಂದ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.
14 ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಂಕರವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವರು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿ, ಸುಳ್ಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ, ದುಷ್ಟರು ತಮ್ಮ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರುಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನಗೆ ಸೊದೋಮಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ, ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಗೊಮೋರದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.”
I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
15 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ: “ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಹಿಯಾದ ಆಹಾರ ತಿನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು. ವಿಷದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯ ಕೊಡುವೆನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟತ್ವವು ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹರಡಿದೆ.”
Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.
16 ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ನಿಮಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ವಾಕ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಾಯಿಂದಲ್ಲ, ಸ್ವಂತ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, [and] not out of the mouth of the LORD.
17 ಆದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಸಹ್ಯಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ, ಅವರು, ‘ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗುವುದು, ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದ ಹಟದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ‘ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಡು ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,’ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.
They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.
18 ಆದರೆ ಯಾರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಆತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ಯಾರು ಆತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ?
For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard [it]?
19 ಇಗೋ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯು ಉಗ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟಿದೆ. ಅಘೋರವಾದ ಆ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯು ದುಷ್ಟರ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ಬೀಳುವುದು
Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
20 ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ ತೀರಿಸುವವರೆಗೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕೋಪವು ತಿರುಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಂತ್ಯ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಅದನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವಿರಿ.
The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.
21 ನಾನು ಈ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂದೇಶದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಓಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿದರು.
I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
22 ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರೆ, ಆಗ ಅವರು ಜನರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಅವರನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಮಾರ್ಗದಿಂದಲೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದಿಂದಲೂ ತಿರುಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.”
But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
23 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ, “ಹತ್ತಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಾನು ದೇವರೋ? ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾನು ದೇವರಲ್ಲವೋ?”
[Am] I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?
24 ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಬೀಳದಂತೆ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಗುಪ್ತಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮರೆಮಾಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ? ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ನಾನು ಭೂಮ್ಯಾಕಾಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿರುವವನಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
25 “‘ನನಗೆ ಕನಸು ಬಿತ್ತು, ಕನಸು ಬಿತ್ತು,’ ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಹೇಳಿ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ನುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
26 ಸುಳ್ಳು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ಇರುವುದು? ಹೌದು, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಭ್ರಮೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸುವವರೇ.
How long shall [this] be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, [they are] prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
27 ಅವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಬಾಳನಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಮರೆತರೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಕನಸುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
28 ಕನಸುಕಂಡ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಕನಸನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಿ ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನುಡಿಯಲಿ. ಹೊಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಕಾಳಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಲಾದೀತೆ?” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What [is] the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.
29 “ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯ ಬೆಂಕಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನ, ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ಪುಡಿಪುಡಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಸುತ್ತಿಗೆಗೆ ಸಮಾನ.” ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಾದ ನನ್ನ ನುಡಿ.
[Is] not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer [that] breaketh the rock in pieces?
30 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, “ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕದ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗೆ ನಾನು ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Therefore, behold, I [am] against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
31 “ಇಗೋ, ತಮ್ಮ ನಾಲಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ‘ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಅನ್ನುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾನು ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Behold, I [am] against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
32 ಸುಳ್ಳಿನ ಕನಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ತಮ್ಮ ನಿರರ್ಥಕವಾದ ವಿಚಾರಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ತಪ್ಪುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಹೇಗೂ ಈ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗಿರುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Behold, I [am] against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
33 “ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾಗಲಿ, ಯಾಜಕನಾಗಲಿ, ಈ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೇ ಆಗಲಿ, ‘ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿರುವ ಹೊರೆ ಏನು?’ ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೆ, ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆಂದು ಹೇಳು: ‘ನೀವೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೊರೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆತನು ಎಸೆದುಬಿಡುವನು.’
And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What [is] the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.
34 ಒಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾಗಲಿ, ಯಾಜಕನಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಒಬ್ಬ ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯನೇ ಆಗಲಿ, ‘ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೊರೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇಯಾದರೆ, ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನೂ ದಂಡಿಸುವೆನು.
And [as for] the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.
35 ‘ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಉತ್ತರವೇನು? ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನುಡಿದದ್ದು ಏನು?’ ಎಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಬೇಕೇ ಹೊರತು,
Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken?
36 ‘ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೊರೆ,’ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಲೇ ಕೂಡದು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನ ನುಡಿ ಅವನವನಿಗೆ ಹೊರೆ. ಜೀವಸ್ವರೂಪನಾದ ದೇವರ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೌದು, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರೂ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಲೆಕೆಳಗಾಗಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man’s word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.
37 ‘ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಾವ ಉತ್ತರ ದೊರಕಿತು? ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಏನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ?’ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ.
Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath the LORD answered thee? and, What hath the LORD spoken?
38 ‘ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೊರೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಡಿ. ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ: ‘ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೊರೆ,’ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಲೇಕೂಡದೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರೂ, ನೀವು ಎತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
But since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD;
39 ಈ ಕಾರಣ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಜರಿಗೂ ನಾನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಗರವನ್ನು ನನ್ನೆದುರಿನಿಂದ ಎತ್ತಿ ಎಸೆದುಬಿಡುವೆನು.
Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, [and cast you] out of my presence:
40 ನೀವು ನಿಂದೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವಿರಿ. ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಮರೆಯಲಾಗದ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು.”
And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.
