ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು 2

1 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ ಸಂದೇಶ ಇದು:

And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,

2 “ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಈ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸಾರು: “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ, “‘ನೀನು ಯೌವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು, ನವವಧುವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರೇಮವನ್ನು, ಹಾಗು ಬಿತ್ತನೆ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾತಿವ್ರತ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಇದು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿತಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ.

Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus says Jehovah, I remember for thee the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, how thou went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.

3 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವೂ, ಆತನ ಹುಟ್ಟುವಳಿಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಫಲವೂ ಆಗಿದೆ ಅವಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಬಿಟ್ಟವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳಾಗುವರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಬರುವುದು,’” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Israel was holiness to Jehovah, the first-fruits of his increase. All who devour him shall be held guilty. Evil shall come upon them, says Jehovah.

4 ಓ ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಮನೆತನವೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕುಲಗಳೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕೇಳಿರಿ.

Hear ye the word of Jehovah, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel.

5 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳು ನನಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿ ವ್ಯರ್ಥತ್ವವನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ, ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ತಪ್ಪನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ?

Thus says Jehovah: What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and have become vain?

6 ಅವರು, ‘ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಡು ಕುಳಿಗಳು ಉಳ್ಳ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ, ಕ್ಷಾಮದ ಮತ್ತು ಮರಣದ ನೆರಳಾದಂಥ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ, ಒಬ್ಬರೂ ಹಾದುಹೋಗದೆ ಯಾರೂ ವಾಸಮಾಡದೆ ಇರುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?’ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

Nor did they say, Where is Jehovah who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought and of the shadow of death, through a land that none passed through, and where no man dwelt?

7 ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅದರ ಸಾರವನ್ನೂ, ಮೇಲನ್ನೂ ತಿನ್ನುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದೆನು. ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ, ನನ್ನ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನು ಅಸಹ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದಿರಿ.

And I brought you into a plentiful land, to eat the fruit of it and the goodness of it. But when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made my heritage an abomination.

8 ಯಾಜಕರು, ‘ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?’ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ದೈವನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ಉಪದೇಶಿಸುವವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾಯಕರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದ್ರೋಹಮಾಡಿದರು. ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಬಾಳನಿಂದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿಲ್ಲದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿದರು.

The priests did not say, Where is Jehovah? And those who handle the law did not know me. The rulers also transgressed against me. And the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.

9 “ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡುವೆನು.

Therefore I will yet contend with you, says Jehovah, and I will contend with your son's sons.

10 ಕಿತ್ತೀಮ್ ದ್ವೀಪಗಳಿಗೆ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಿ ನೋಡಿರಿ. ಕೇದಾರಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಅಂಥದ್ದು ಉಂಟೋ ಎಂದು ನೋಡಿರಿ.

For pass over to the isles of Kittim, and see, and send to Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there has been such a thing.

11 ಜನಾಂಗವು ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವು ದೇವರುಗಳಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಬದಲು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದುಂಟೋ? ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ವೈಭವವಾದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Has a nation changed its gods, which yet are no gods? But my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.

12 ಆಕಾಶಗಳೇ, ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಡಿರಿ, ಭಯಭ್ರಾಂತಿಗೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ತೀರ ಹಾಳಾಗಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid. Be ye very desolate, says Jehovah.

13 “ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ಎರಡು ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ತಮಗೆ ನೀರು ಹಿಡಿಯಲಾರದ ಒಡಕ ತೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

For my people have committed two evils: They have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

14 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಸೇವಕನೋ? ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಗುಲಾಮನೋ? ಅವನು ಏಕೆ ಸುಲಿಗೆಯಾದನು?

Is Israel a servant? Is he a homebred one? Why has he become a prey?

15 ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹಗಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಗರ್ಜಿಸಿ, ಅಬ್ಬರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಅವನ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ. ಅವನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ನಿವಾಸವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸುಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಿವೆ.

The young lions have roared upon him, and yelled, and they have made his land waste. His cities are burned up, without inhabitant.

16 ನೋಫ್ ಮತ್ತು ತಹಪನೇಸ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳವರು ನಿನ್ನ ನೆತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ನುಣ್ಣಗೆ ಮೇದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

The sons also of Memphis and Tahpanhes have broken the crown of thy head.

17 ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಇದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ನೀನೇ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡೆಯಲ್ಲವೋ?

Have thou not procured this to thyself, in that thou have forsaken Jehovah thy God when he led thee by the way?

18 ಈಗ ಶೀಹೋರಿನ ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೇನು ಕೆಲಸ? ಯೂಫ್ರೇಟೀಸ್ ನದಿಯ ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೇನು ಕೆಲಸ?

And now what have thou to do in the way to Egypt, to drink the waters of the Shihor? Or what have thou to do in the way to Assyria, to drink the waters of the River?

19 ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿದ್ದುವುದು. ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿಂಜಾರಿಕೆಗಳೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸುವುದು. ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದೂ, ನನ್ನ ಭಯವು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದೂ, ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದೂ, ಕಹಿಯಾದದ್ದೂ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ನೋಡು,” ಎಂದು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee. Know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and a bitter, that thou have forsaken Jehovah thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, says the Lord, Jehovah of hosts.

20 “ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ನೊಗವನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಂಧನಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟೆನು. ಆದರೆ, ‘ನಾನು ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ!’ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಒಂದೊಂದು ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಗುಡ್ಡದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಒಂದೊಂದು ಹಸುರಾದ ಮರದ ಕೆಳಗೂ ನೀನು ವೇಶ್ಯೆಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದೀ.

For from old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bonds. And thou said, I will not serve, for upon every high hill and under every green tree thou bowed thyself, playing the harlot.

21 ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಬೀಜದಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆದ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಕಾಡುದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಬಳ್ಳಿಯ ಹಾಳು ರೆಂಬೆಗಳಾದದ್ದು ಹೇಗೆ?

Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed. How then have thou turned into the degenerate branches of a foreign vine to me?

22 ನೀನು ಸಾಬೂನಿನಿಂದ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಂಡರೂ, ಬಹಳ ಸಾಬೂನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಕ್ರಮವು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಳಂಕವಾಗಿದೆ,” ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

For though thou wash thee with lye, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, says the lord Jehovah.

23 “ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀನು, ‘ನಾನು ಅಶುದ್ಧನಲ್ಲ, ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ? ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ನೋಡು. ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ. ನೀನು ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಸಂಚಾರ ಮಾಡುವ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಒಂಟೆಯೇ.

How can thou say, I am not defiled; I have not gone after the Baalim? See thy way in the valley. Know what thou have done, a swift dromedary traversing her ways,

24 ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸವುಳ್ಳ ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಯೇ. ಅವಳ ಅತ್ಯಾಶೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಹೀರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಅವಳ ಮದವನ್ನು ಯಾರು ತಡೆಯುವರು? ಅವಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆಯಾಸ ಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವಳ ಸಂಗಮಿಸುವ ಋತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವರು.

a wild donkey used to the wilderness, that sniffs up the wind in her desire. In her time of estrus who can turn her away? All those who seek her will not weary themselves. In her month they shall find her.

25 ಆದರೆ ನಾನು, ‘ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾಲು ಸವೆಯದಂತೆಯೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗಂಟಲು ಆರದಂತೆಯೂ ತಡೆದುಕೋ,’ ಎಂದೆನು. ಆದರೆ ನೀನು, ‘ಇಲ್ಲ, ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ಅನ್ಯದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಅವುಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಾನು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆ.

Withhold thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst. But thou said, It is in vain. No, for I have loved strangers, and after them I will go.

26 “ಕಳ್ಳನು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಆಯಿತು. ಅವರ ಅರಸರು, ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು, ಯಾಜಕರು, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು, ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಈಡಾಗುವರು.

As the thief is shamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel shamed, they, their kings, their rulers, and their priests, and their prophets,

27 ಅವರು ಮರಕ್ಕೆ, ‘ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆ,’ ಎಂದೂ ಕಲ್ಲಿಗೆ, ‘ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಿದ್ದೀ,’ ಎಂದೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರಲ್ಲಾ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಮುಖವನ್ನಲ್ಲ ಬೆನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೂ ಅವರ ಕಷ್ಟಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು, ‘ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು,’ ಎಂದು ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವರು.

who say to a block of wood, Thou are my father, and to a stone, Thou have brought me forth. For they have turned their back to me, and not their face. But in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.

28 ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ನಿನ್ನ ಕಷ್ಟಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದರೆ ಅವರೇ ಏಳಲಿ, ಓ ಯೆಹೂದವೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.

But where are thy gods that thou have made thee? Let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble. For according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.

29 “ಏಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾದಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Why will ye contend with me? Ye have all transgressed against me, says Jehovah.

30 “ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜನರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸಿದ್ದು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಯಿತು. ಅವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಖಡ್ಗವು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ಸಿಂಹದಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿವೆ.

In vain I have smitten your sons. They received no correction. Your own sword has devoured your prophets like a destroying lion.

31 “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೇ, ನೀವು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿರಿ: “ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಾದೆನೋ? ಗಾಡಾಂಧಕಾರದ ದೇಶವಾದೆನೋ? ನನ್ನ ಜನರು, ‘ನಾವು ಮನಬಂದಂತೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ, ನಾವು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಎಂದೂ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?

O generation, see ye the word of Jehovah. Have I been a wilderness to Israel, or a land of thick darkness? Why do my people say, We have broken loose. We will come no more to thee?

32 ಯುವತಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಆಭರಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಮದಲಗಿತ್ತಿ ತನ್ನ ಒಡ್ಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಡುವಳೋ? ಆದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ದಿನಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet my people have forgotten me days without number.

33 ಪ್ರಿಯಕರರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಚಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀ? ಇದರಿಂದ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಹೆಂಗಸರಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಿದ್ದೀ.

How thou trim thy way to seek love! Therefore even the wicked women thou have taught thy ways.

34 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೆರಗುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಾಧವಿಲ್ಲದ ಬಡವರ ರಕ್ತವು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಅಂತರಂಗದ ಶೋಧನೆಯಿಂದಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೀ.

Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the innocent poor. Thou did not find them breaking in. But it is because of all these things.

35 ಆದರೂ ನೀನು, ‘ನಾನು ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಕೋಪವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರುಗುವುದು,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀ. ನೀನು, ‘ನಾನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವೆನು.

Yet thou said, I am innocent. Surely his anger is turned away from me. Behold, I will enter into judgment with thee because thou say, I have not sinned.

36 ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಷ್ಟು ಏಕೆ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಾಡುತ್ತೀ? ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುವೆ.

Why do thou gad about so much to change thy way? Thou shall be ashamed of Egypt also, as thou were ashamed of Assyria.

37 ಹೌದು, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸಹ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗುವೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನೀನು ಭರವಸೆ ಇಟ್ಟವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವುಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಸಫಲವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.”

Thou shall also go forth from there with thy hands upon thy head. For Jehovah has rejected those in whom thou trust. And thou shall not prosper with them.
