ಯೆಶಾಯನು 55

1 ಬಾಯಾರಿದ ಸಕಲ ಜನರೇ, ನೀರಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಹಣವಿಲ್ಲದವನೂ ಬರಲಿ. ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಉಣ್ಣಿರಿ. ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಹಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನೂ ಹಾಲನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters! Even ye that have no money, come ye, buy and eat! Yea, come, buy wine and milk, Without money and without price.

2 ಆಹಾರವಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಣವನ್ನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಏಕೆ? ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸದವುಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುಡಿತವನ್ನು ವೆಚ್ಚಮಾಡುವುದು ಏಕೆ? ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಉಣ್ಣಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಮೃಷ್ಟಾನ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಿಸಿ!

Wherefore do ye spend your money for that which is not bread, And your substance for that which doth not satisfy? Listen attentively to me; so shall ye eat that which is good, And your soul shall delight itself with delicacies.

3 ಕಿವಿಯನ್ನು ಇತ್ತ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಆಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಬದುಕಿ ಬಾಳುವಿರಿ. ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕೃಪಾವರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂಬ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.

Incline your ear, and come to me; Hear, and your soul shall live! And I will make with you an everlasting covenant; I will give you the sure mercies of David.

4 ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಜನರಿಗೆ ನಾಯಕನನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.

Behold, I gave him for a commander to the nations; For a prince, and a lawgiver to the nations.

5 ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ ನೀನು ತಿಳಿಯದ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆಯುವೆ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ವೈಭವದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಓಡಿ ಬರುವುವು.

Behold, the nation which thou knowest not thou shalt call; And the nation which knew not thee shall run to thee, For the sake of Jehovah, thy God, And of the Holy One of Israel, for he hath glorified thee.

6 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಸಿಕ್ಕುವ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ, ಆತನು ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ, ಆತನಿಗೆ ಬಿನ್ನಹ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.

Seek ye Jehovah, while he may be found; Call upon him while he is near;

7 ದುಷ್ಟನು ತನ್ನ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನೂ, ಅನೀತಿವಂತನು ತನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೊರೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಲಿ. ಅವರು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರುಣೆ ಇಡುವರು. ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಲಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಹೇರಳವಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸುವರು.

Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to Jehovah, and he will have mercy upon him, And to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

8 ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳಲ್ಲ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲ, ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, Neither are your ways my ways, saith Jehovah.

9 ಆಕಾಶವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಉನ್ನತವೋ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ, ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಅಷ್ಟು ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿವೆ.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are my ways higher than your ways, And my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 ಮಳೆಯೂ, ಹಿಮವೂ ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಬಿದ್ದು, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ತೋಯಿಸಿ, ಹಸಿರುಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಫಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಬಿತ್ತುವವನಿಗೆ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು, ಉಣ್ಣುವವನಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸದ ಹೊರತು ಹೇಗೆ ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ

For as the rain and the snow descend from heaven, And return not thither, But water the earth, and make it bear and put forth its increase, That it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater;

11 ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಮಾತು ನನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ, ನಾನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೈಗೂಡಿಸದ ಹೊರತು ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

So shall my word be, that goeth forth from my mouth; It shall not return to me void; But it shall bring to pass that which is my pleasure, And it shall accomplish that for which I send it.

12 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಆನಂದದೊಡನೆ ಹೋಗುವಿರಿ, ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ಬರುವಿರಿ. ಪರ್ವತಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಹರ್ಷಧ್ವನಿಗೈಯುವವು. ಹೊಲದ ಮರಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ಹೊಡೆಯುವುವು.

For ye shall go out with joy And be led forth with peace; The mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

13 ಮುಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ತುರಾಯಿ ಮರವು ಮತ್ತು ದತ್ತೂರಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಸುವಾಸನೆ ಬೀರುವ ಮರವು ಹುಟ್ಟುವುವು. ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿಗಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಗುರುತಾಗಿ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಅಳಿಯದಿರುವುದು.

Instead of the thorn shall grow up the cypress-tree, And instead of the bramble shall grow up the myrtle-tree, And it shall be to Jehovah for a name; For an everlasting memorial, that shall not pass away.
