ಯೆಶಾಯನು 51
1 ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯಾವ ಬಂಡೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಒಡೆದು ಕಡಿದಿರುತ್ತಾರೋ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾವ ಗುಂಡಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅಗೆದಿರುತ್ತಾರೋ ಆ ಬಂಡೆಯಾದಾತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರಿ.
“Listen to Me, you pursuing righteousness, Seeking YHWH, Look attentively to the rock—you have been hewn, And to the hole of the pit—you have been dug.
2 ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತ ಸಾರಳನ್ನೂ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿರಿ. ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರೆದಾಗ ಅವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯ, ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ, ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆನು.
Look attentively to your father Abraham, And to Sarah—she brings you forth, For—one—I have called him, And I bless him, and multiply him.”
3 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಚೀಯೋನನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸೇ ಸಂತೈಸುವರು. ಅವರು ಅದರ ಹಾಳಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಕರುಣೆಯಿಂದ ನೋಡುವರು. ಅದರ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಏದೆನ್ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ, ಹಾಳು ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ತೋಟದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಮಾಡುವನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದವೂ, ಉಲ್ಲಾಸವೂ, ಉಪಕಾರ ಸ್ತುತಿಯೂ, ಇಂಪಾದ ಸ್ವರವೂ ಕಂಡು ಬರುವುವು.
For YHWH has comforted Zion, He has comforted all her ruins, And He sets her wilderness as Eden, And her desert as a garden of YHWH, Joy, indeed, gladness is found in her, Confession, and the voice of song.
4 ನನ್ನ ಜನರೇ, ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ನನ್ನ ಜನಾಂಗವೇ, ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಯಮವು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
“Attend to Me, O My people, And, O My nation, give ear to Me. For a law goes out from Me, And My judgment to the light, I cause peoples to rest.
5 ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯು ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿತು. ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ಹೊರಟಿತು ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಕೈ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸುವುದು. ನನ್ನ ಭುಜದ ಮೇಲೆ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಟ್ಟು, ದ್ವೀಪಗಳು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತವೆ.
My righteousness [is] near, My salvation has gone out, And My arms judge peoples, Islands wait on Me, Indeed, on My arm they wait with hope.
6 ಆಕಾಶಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆಕಾಶಗಳು ಹೊಗೆಯಂತೆ ಅಗೋಚರವಾಗುವುವು. ಭೂಮಿಯು ಹಳೆಯ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಂತಾಗುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರು ಸೊಳ್ಳೆಗಳೋಪಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯುವರು. ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು, ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ರದ್ದಾಗದು.
Lift up your eyes to the heavens, And look attentively to the earth beneath, For the heavens have vanished as smoke, And the earth wears out as a garment, And its inhabitants die as gnats, And My salvation is for all time, And My righteousness is not broken.
7 ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಅರಿತು, ನನ್ನ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಜನರೇ, ನನಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ. ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ನಿಂದೆಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಅವರ ದೂಷಣೆಗೆ ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ.
Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, A people in whose heart [is] My law, Do not fear the reproach of men, And do not be frightened of their reviling,
8 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನುಸಿಯು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವಂತೆ, ಅವರನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಡುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಹುಳವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಉಣ್ಣೆಯಂತೆ ತಿನ್ನುವುದು. ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಗಳಿಗೂ ಇರುವುದು.
For a moth eats them as a garment, And a worm eats them as wool, And My righteousness is for all time, And My salvation from generation to generation.”
9 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಭುಜವೇ, ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಳ್ಳು, ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಳ್ಳು ಬಲವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೋ. ಹಿಂದಿನ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಚ್ಚರವಿದ್ದಂತೆಯೇ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗು. ರಹಬನ್ನು ಕಡಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದೂ, ಘಟಸರ್ಪವನ್ನು ಗಾಯಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೂ ನೀನಲ್ಲವೋ?
Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of YHWH, Awake, as [in] days of old, generations of the ages, Are You not it that is hewing down Rahab, Piercing a dragon?
10 ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನೂ, ದೊಡ್ಡ ಅಗಾಧದ ನೀರನ್ನೂ ಬತ್ತಿಸಿ, ವಿಮುಕ್ತರಾದವರು, ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ತಳವನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದಂಥವನು ನೀನಲ್ಲವೋ?
Are You not it that is drying up a sea, Waters of a great deep? That has made deep places of a sea A way for the passing of the redeemed?
11 ಆದಕಾರಣ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದವರು, ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಸಂತೋಷವೆಂಬ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಧ್ವನಿಯೊಡನೆ ಚೀಯೋನಿಗೆ ಸೇರುವರು. ಅವರು ಹರ್ಷಾನಂದಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವರು. ದುಃಖವೂ, ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರೂ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವುವು.
And the ransomed of YHWH return, And they have come to Zion with singing, And continuous joy [is] on their head, They attain gladness and joy, Sorrow and sighing have fled away,
12 “ನಾನೇ, ನಾನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಸಾಯುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೂ, ಹುಲ್ಲಿನಂತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಾನವನಿಗೂ ಭಯಪಡುವ ನೀನು ಯಾರು?
“I [am] He who comforts you, Who [are] you—and you are afraid of man? He dies! And of the son of man—he is made [like] grass!
13 ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಹಾಸಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೀನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಹಿಂಸಕನ ಉಗ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಎಡೆಬಿಡದೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ಅವನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸುವನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಅಂಜಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀಯಲ್ಲಾ, ಆ ಹಿಂಸಕನ ಕೋಪವು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?
And you forget YHWH your Maker, Who is stretching out the heavens, and founding earth, And you continually fear all the day, Because of the fury of the oppressor, As he has prepared to destroy. And where [is] the fury of the oppressor?
14 ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಗ್ಗಿರುವವನು ತಾನು ಸಾಯದಂತೆಯೂ, ತನಗೆ ಆಹಾರದ ಕೊರತೆ ಇರದಂತೆಯೂ, ತಾನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆಯೂ ಆತುರಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
A wanderer has hurried to be loosed, And he does not die in the pit, And his bread is not lacking.
15 ಆದರೆ ತೆರೆಗಳು ಬೋರ್ಗರೆಯುವಾಗ, ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಾನೇ, ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಎಂಬುದು ಆತನ ಹೆಸರು.
And I [am] your God YHWH, Quieting the sea when its billows roar, YHWH of Hosts [is] His Name.
16 ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಚೀಯೋನಿಗೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಜನರೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು, ನನ್ನ ಕೈ ನೆರಳಿನಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದ್ದೇನೆ.”
And I put My words in your mouth, And have covered you with the shadow of My hand, To plant the heavens, and to found earth, And to say to Zion, You [are] My people.”
17 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಆತನ ಕೋಪದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಳ್ಳು, ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಳ್ಳು, ಎದ್ದೇಳು! ನೀನು ತತ್ತರಗೊಳಿಸುವಂಥ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮಡ್ಡಿಯನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದು ಹೀರಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ.
Stir yourself, stir yourself, rise, Jerusalem, You who have drunk from the hand of YHWH The cup of His fury, The goblet, the cup of trembling, you have drunk, You have wrung out.
18 ಅವಳು ಹೆತ್ತ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪುತ್ರರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅವಳು ಬೆಳೆಯಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪುತ್ರರಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವಳ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
There is not a leader to her Out of all the sons she has borne, And there is none laying hold on her hand Out of all the sons she has nourished.
19 ಈ ಎರಡು ಸಂಗತಿಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿವೆ, ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಚಿಂತಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ನಾಶನವೋ ಸಂಹಾರವೋ ಕ್ಷಾಮವೋ ಖಡ್ಗವೋ, ಯಾರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸುವರು?
These two are meeting you, Who is moved for you? Spoiling and destruction, famine and sword! By whom do I comfort you?
20 ನಿನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರರು ಮೂರ್ಛೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ಬಲೆಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಕಾಡು ಗೂಳಿಗಳಂತೆ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೀದಿಗಳು ಕೂಡುವ ಚೌಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ರೋಷದಿಂದಲೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಗದರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Your sons have been wrapped up, they have lain down, At the head of all out places, as an antelope [in] a dragnet, They are full of the fury of YHWH, The rebuke of Your God.
21 ನೀನು ಹಿಂಸೆಗೊಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದೀ. ಕುಡಿದು ಅಮಲೇರಿದ್ದೀ. ಆದರೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳು.
Therefore, please hear this, O afflicted and drunken one, and not with wine,
22 ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ವಾದಿಸುವ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತತ್ತರಿಸುವಂಥ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನೂ, ನನ್ನ ಉಗ್ರವಾದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯ ಮಡ್ಡಿಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನೀನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Thus said your Lord YHWH, and your God, He pleads [for] His people: “Behold, I have taken the cup of trembling out of your hand, The goblet, the cup of My fury, You do not add to drink it anymore.
23 ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವಂತೆ, ನೀನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳು ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಳಿ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿದವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ನೀನು ಹಾದುಹೋದವರಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ನೆಲದಂತೆಯೂ, ಬೀದಿಯಂತೆಯೂ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಾ.”
And I have put it into the hand of those afflicting you, Who have said to your soul, Bow down, and we pass over, And you make your body as the earth, And as the street to those passing by!”
