ಯೆಶಾಯನು 43
1 ಈಗಲಾದರೋ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ವಂಶವೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಸಂತಾನವೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ, ರೂಪಿಸಿದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ: “ಹೆದರಬೇಡ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದೆನಲ್ಲಾ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕರೆದೆನಲ್ಲಾ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನವನೇ.
But now thus hath said the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not; for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; mine art thou.
2 ನೀನು ಜಲರಾಶಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಹೋಗುವಾಗ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗಿರುವೆನು; ನದಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ದಾಟುವಾಗ, ಅವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಳುಗಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವಾಗ, ನೀನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದಹಿಸದು.
Whenever thou passest through the waters, I am with thee; and through the rivers, —they shall not overflow thee: whenever thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be scorched; neither shall the flame burn on thee.
3 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಕನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಈಜಿಪ್ಟನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಮೋಚನೆಗೂ, ಇಥಿಯೋಪಿಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸೆಬಾ ಸೀಮೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour; I have given Egypt for thy ransom, Cush and Seba in place of thee.
4 ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯನೂ, ಮಾನ್ಯನೂ, ಪ್ರಿಯನೂ ಆಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
Since thou art precious in my eyes, art honorable, and I indeed do love thee: therefore will I give men in place of thee, and nations instead of thy soul.
5 ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದ ತರುವೆನು. ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವೆನು.
Fear not, for I am with thee; from the east will I bring thy seed, and from the west will I gather thee.
6 ‘ನಾನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಡು,’ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೂ ‘ತಡೆಯಬೇಡ,’ ಎಂದು ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಿ, ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರರನ್ನೂ, ದಿಗಂತಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರನ್ನೂ,
I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Withhold not: bring my sons from afar, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
7 ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಲಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನೂ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಗಾಗಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಹೌದು, ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.”
Every one that is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory; whom I have formed; yea, whom I have made.
8 ಕಣ್ಣಿದ್ದರೂ ಕುರುಡರಾದ, ಕಿವಿಯಿದ್ದರೂ ಕಿವುಡರಾದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕರೆ.
Bring forward the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
9 ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರೂ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಅವರ ದೇವರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯಬಲ್ಲವರು ಯಾರು? ಗತಿಸಿದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಂತಿಳಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರು? ನಾವು ನೀತಿವಂತರೆಂದು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆತರಲಿ. ಆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ನಿಜವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಿ.
Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can announce this? and cause us to hear former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
10 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ,” “ನಾನು ಇರುವಾತನೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು, ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದು, ನಂಬಿ, ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿರಿ; ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಕನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನಗಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆಯೂ, ನನ್ನ ಅನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾವ ದೇವರೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: in order that ye may know and believe me, and understand, that I am he; before me there was no god formed, and after me there will be none.
11 ನಾನೇ, ನಾನೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಹೊರತು ಯಾವ ರಕ್ಷಕನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
I, I am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.
12 ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ಯದೇವರು ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವಾಗಲೇ, ನಾನೇ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿ, ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು,” “ನಾನೇ ದೇವರು ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
I myself have announced it, and I have saved, and I have let it be heard, and there was no strange [god] among you; and ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and I am God.
13 ಹೌದು, ಅಂದಿನಿಂದಲೇ ನಾನಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಬರುವವನಾರು?”
Yea, from the [first] day am I he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: if I will work, is there one that can hinder it?
14 ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಮೋಚಕನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ: ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಘನವಂತರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಹಡಗುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುವ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿದೆನು.
Thus hath said the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, For your sake did I send to Babylon, and in swift vessels brought I them all down, and the Chaldeans, in the ships of their joyful song.
15 ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದವನೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅರಸನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
I am the Lord, the Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.
16 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ: ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಗಮಾಡಿದವನೂ; ಬಲವಾದ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿದವನೂ;
Thus hath said the Lord, who maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
17 ರಥಗಳನ್ನು, ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು, ದಂಡನ್ನು, ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ, ಅವು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಏಳಲಾರದಂತೆಯೂ, ದೀಪದ ಬತ್ತಿ ನಂದಿ ಆರಿಹೋಗುವಂತೆಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದಾತನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ:
Who bringeth forth chariot and horse, army and power: together shall they lie down, they shall not rise up again; they are extinct, like a wick are they quenched.
18 “ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಹಳೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ.
Remember not the former things, and ancient events regard no more.
19 ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಒಂದು ಹೊಸ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅದು ಈಗಲೇ ತಲೆದೋರುತ್ತಲಿದೆ. ಇದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ನಾನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸುವೆನು. ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನದಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವೆನು.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; will ye not acknowledge it? I will even make in the wilderness a way, and in the desert rivers.
20 ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳು, ನರಿಗಳು, ಗೂಬೆಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರನ್ನು, ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನದಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.
The beasts of the field shall honor me, the monsters and the ostriches; because I give waters in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my elect;
21 ನನ್ನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಚುರಪಡಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಈ ಜನರನ್ನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ರೂಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
This people which I have formed for myself; my praise shall they relate.
22 “ಆದರೂ ಯಾಕೋಬೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಬೇಸರಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀ!
But on me hast thou not called, O Jacob; for thou art become weary of me, O Israel.
23 ನಿನ್ನ ದಹನಬಲಿಯ ಎಳೆಯ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನೀನು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾನು ತೊಂದರೆಪಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಧೂಪಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಸರಗೊಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Thou hast not brought unto me the lamb of thy burnt-offerings; and with thy sacrifices hast thou not honored me: I have not troubled thee with meat-offerings, nor wearied thee with frankincense.
24 ನೀನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹಣದಿಂದ ಪರಿಮಳ ತೈಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜ್ಞಪಶುಗಳ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀನು ತೊಂದರೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿರುವೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಸರಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದೀ.
Thou hast not bought for me sweet cane, and with the fat of thy sacrifices hast thou not satisfied me; but thou hast troubled me with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thy iniquities.
25 “ನಾನಾಗಿ ನಾನೇ, ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿನ್ನ ದ್ರೋಹಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳಿಸಿಬಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿಡೆನು.
I, it is I that blot out thy transgressions for my own sake, and thy sins I will not remember.
26 ನನಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಪಡಿಸು, ನಾವಿಬ್ಬರೂ ವಾದಿಸುವಾ, ನೀನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ತೋರಿಸು.
Put me in remembrance; let us plead together: relate thou, in order that thou mayest be justified.
27 ನಿನ್ನ ಮೂಲಪಿತೃ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಬೋಧಕರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Thy first father did sin, and they that plead for thee transgressed against me.
28 ಆದಕಾರಣ ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡಿಸಿ, ಯಾಕೋಬನ್ನು ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ದೂಷಣೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Therefore do I profane the holy princes, and I give up Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
