ಯೆಶಾಯನು 33
1 ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವವನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ! ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಸೂರೆಮಾಡದಿದ್ದರೂ ನೀನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆ; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ವಂಚಿಸದಿದ್ದರೂ ನೀನು ವಂಚನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲ ಅಂತ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಈಗ ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ನೀನು, ಆಗ ನೀನೇ ಹಾಳಾಗುವೆ. ಈಗ ವಂಚನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ನೀನೇ ವಂಚಿತನಾಗುವೆ.
Woe to thee that layest waste, and thou [wast] not laid waste; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to lay waste, thou shalt be wasted; [and] when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
2 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕೃಪೆ ತೋರಿಸಿರಿ. ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾವು ಕಾದಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ನಮಗೆ ಭುಜಬಲವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರು.
O LORD, be gracious to us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
3 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಕೋಲಾಹಲದ ಶಬ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಜನರು ಓಡಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ, ನೀವು ಏಳುವಾಗ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ಚದರಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತವೆ.
At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
4 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನು ಇತರರು ಮಿಡತೆಗಳಂತೆ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಮಾಡುವರು, ಮಿಡತೆಗಳು ಓಡಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಓಡಾಡುವರು.
And your spoil shall be gathered [like] the gathering of the caterpillar: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.
5 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಉನ್ನತೋನ್ನತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆತನು ಮೇಲಿನ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಚೀಯೋನನ್ನು ನೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
6 ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಖಚಿತವಾದ ಆಧಾರವಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಜ್ಞಾನ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಗಳ ನಿಕ್ಷೇಪವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವನು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಭಯವೇ ಅವನ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, [and] strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD [is] his treasure.
7 ಅವರ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳು ಹೊರಗೆ ಕೂಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳು ಘೋರವಾಗಿ ಅಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the embassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
8 ರಾಜ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ಹಾಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವವರು ನಿಂತು ಹೋದರು. ಅವನು ಒಪ್ಪಂದವನ್ನು ಮೀರಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿ, ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತಾರನು.
The highways lie waste, the way-faring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
9 ದೇಶವು ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿಸಿ ಕುಗ್ಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಲೆಬನೋನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಟ್ಟು ಕಡಿದು ಬೀಳುವುದು. ಶಾರೋನ್ ಬೆಂಗಾಡಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಾಷಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಎಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉದುರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿವೆ.
The earth mourneth [and] languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed [and] hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off [their fruits].
10 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ, “ನಾನು ಈಗ ಏಳುವೆನು. ಈಗಲೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು. ಈಗ ಉನ್ನತೋನ್ನತನಾಗುವೆನು.
Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.
11 ನೀವು ಒಣಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಧರಿಸಿ, ಪೈರಿನ ಮೋಟನ್ನು ಹೆರುವಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶ್ವಾಸವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ನುಂಗುವ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯಾಗುವುದು.
Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, [as] fire, shall devour you.
12 ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಸುಟ್ಟ ಸುಣ್ಣದ ಹಾಗಿರುವುವು. ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿದ ಮುಳ್ಳುಕೊಂಪೆಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹಚ್ಚಿದಂತಾಗುವುದು.”
And the people shall be [as] the burnings of lime: [as] thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
13 ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರೇ, ನಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
Ye [that are] far off, hear what I have done; and ye [that are] near, acknowledge my might.
14 ಚೀಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪಾಪಿಗಳು ಹೆದರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಭಯದಿಂದ ಕಪಟಿಗಳು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಎಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು, “ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ನುಂಗುವ ಅಗ್ನಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾಸಿಸಬಲ್ಲರು? ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಸದಾ ಉರಿಯುವ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಗಳೊಡನೆ ವಾಸಿಸಬಲ್ಲರು?”
The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
15 ನೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು, ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನುಡಿದು, ದೋಚಿಕೊಂಡ ಲಾಭ ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಲಂಚ ಮುಟ್ಟದಂತೆ ಕೈಚಾಚಿದೆ. ಕೊಲೆಯ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದೆ, ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಾಣದಂತೆ ಕಣ್ಣು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರೇ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವರು.
He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
16 ಬಂಡೆಗಳ ಕೋಟೆಗಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯವಾಗಿರುವುವು. ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒದಗುವುದು. ನೀರು ತಪ್ಪುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
He shall dwell on high: his place of defense [shall be] the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters [shall be] sure.
17 ರಾಜನ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನೋಡುವುವು. ಅತಿವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣು ತುಂಬಾ ನೋಡುವಿರಿ.
Thy eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
18 ಆಗ ನೀವು ಹಿಂದಿನ ಭಯಂಕರವಾದ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ, “ಕಪ್ಪವನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿದವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ತೂಕ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಗೋಪುರಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿದವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?” ಎಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
Thy heart shall meditate terror. Where [is] the scribe? where [is] the receiver? where [is] he that counted the towers?
19 ನೀನು ತಿಳಿಯಲಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಭಾಷೆಯೂ, ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಪರೂಪವಾದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಆಡಿದ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ನೀನು ನೋಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, [that thou canst] not understand.
20 ನಮ್ಮ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ನಡೆಯುವ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿರಿ. ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ನಿವಾಸವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಗೂಟಕೀಳದ ಹಗ್ಗಹರಿಯದ ಒಂದೇ ಕಡೆ ಇರುವ ಗುಡಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಾಣುವಿರಿ.
Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thy eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle [that] shall not be taken down; not one of its stakes shall ever be removed, neither shall any of its cords be broken.
21 ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಲಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನದಿಸರೋವರಗಳಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರಿಯುವರು. ಹುಟ್ಟುಗೋಲಿನ ದೋಣಿಯಾಗಲಿ, ದೊಡ್ಡದಾದ ಹಡಗಾಗಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ದಾಟುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
But there the glorious LORD [will be] to us a place of broad rivers [and] streams; in which shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass through it.
22 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞೆಕೊಡುವವರು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವವರು.
For the LORD [is] our judge, the LORD [is] our lawgiver, the LORD [is] our king; he will save us.
23 ನಿನ್ನ ಹಗ್ಗಗಳು ಸಡಲಿ, ಸ್ತಂಭದ ಪಾದವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದವು. ಪಠವನ್ನು ಮುದುರದಂತೆ ಹಿಡಿದಿರಲಿಕ್ಕೂ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಗ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸೂರೆಯು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಾಗಿ ಹಂಚುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಾಯಿತು. ಕುಂಟರೂ ಸುಲಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
24 ಚೀಯೋನಿನ ಯಾವ ನಿವಾಸಿಯೂ, “ನಾನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳನು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಜನರ ಪಾಪವು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.
And the inhabitants shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein [shall be] forgiven [their] iniquity.
