ಯೆಶಾಯನು 32
1 ಇಗೋ, ಒಬ್ಬ ರಾಜನು ನೀತಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಆಳುವನು. ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ನ್ಯಾಯದಿಂದ ದೊರೆತನ ಮಾಡುವರು.
Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice.
2 ಆಗ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಗಾಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯ ನೀರಿನ ಕಾಲುವೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೂ, ಬಾಯಾರಿದ ನಾಡಿಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಂಡೆಯ ನೆರಳಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇರುವನು.
And every one shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivulets of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a large rock in a languishing land.
3 ಆಗ ನೋಡುವವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಮೊಬ್ಬಾಗವು, ಕೇಳುವವರ ಕಿವಿಗಳು ಮಂದವಾಗವು.
And the eyes of those that see shall not be blinded again, and the ears of those that hear shall hearken.
4 ಆತುರಗಾರರ ಹೃದಯವು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವುದು. ತೊದಲು ಮಾತನಾಡುವವರ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
The heart also of the rash shall be attentive in order to know, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
5 ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಮೂರ್ಖನು ಘನವಂತನೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳನು. ಮೋಸಗಾರನು ಮಹನೀಯನೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳನು.
The worthless person shall be no more called liberal, and the avaricious man shall not be said to be bountiful.
6 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಮೂರ್ಖನು ಮೂರ್ಖವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವನು. ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವು ಕಪಟತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತಪ್ಪಿ ಹೋಗುವವರಂತೆಯೂ, ಹಸಿವೆಗೊಂಡವನ ಆಶೆಯನ್ನು ಬರಿದು ಮಾಡುವಂತೆಯೂ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವನು. ಬಾಯಾರಿದವನ ಪಾನವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಾರಣನಾಗುವನು.
For the worthless person ever speaketh villany, and his heart will work injustice, to practise hypocrisy, and to speak error against the Lord, to leave empty the soul of the hungry, and the drink of the thirsty will he take away.
7 ಮೋಸಗಾರನ ಆಯುಧಗಳು ಕೆಟ್ಟವುಗಳೇ, ದರಿದ್ರನು ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರೂ, ಅವನು ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಸುಳ್ಳು ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಕೆಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವನು.
The instruments also of the avaricious man are evil: he deviseth wicked resolves to destroy the poor with words of falsehood, even when the needy speaketh what is right.
8 ಘನವಂತನಾದರೋ, ಘನಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವನು. ಅವನು ಘನವಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಿರತನಾಗಿರುವನು.
But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and he ever persisteth by liberal things.
9 ನಿಶ್ಚಿಂತೆಯರಾದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರೇ, ಏಳಿರಿ. ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ಭಯವಿಲ್ಲದ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ.
Ye careless women rise up, hear my voice; ye daughters that are secure, give ear unto my speech.
10 ಈಗ ಸುಖವಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ನಿಶ್ಚಿಂತೆಯಿಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಇನ್ನು ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳವಳಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಆಗ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೊಯಿಲು ನಿಂತುಹೋಗುವುದು. ಯಾವ ಬೆಳೆಯೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ದೊರೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
After days and years shall ye shudder, ye women that are secure; for ended is the vintage, the fruit gathering shall nowise come.
11 ನಿಶ್ಚಿಂತೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೇ, ನೀವು ನಡುಗಿರಿ. ನಿರ್ಭೀತ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರೇ, ಕಳವಳಗೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕಿ, ಸೊಂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಗೋಣಿತಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
Tremble, ye careless women; shudder, ye that are secure, strip off your garments and make yourselves bare, and gird [sackcloth] upon the loins.
12 ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ಹೊಲಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಫಲವತ್ತಾದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎದೆ ಬಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
[They shall strike] on the breast, lamenting, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
13 ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಹೊಲಗದ್ದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳ್ಳುಪೊದೆಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ್ದ ಮನೆಗಳೂ ಲವಲವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದ ನಗರಗಳೂ ಶೂನ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ.
Upon the soil of my people thorns and briers shall come up; yea, upon all the houses of joy of the gladsome town.
14 ಅರಮನೆ ಹಾಳುಬಿದ್ದಿದೆ. ಗಲಭೆಯಪಟ್ಟಣವು ನಿರ್ಜನವಾಗುವುದು, ಪರ್ವತ ಮತ್ತು ಬುರುಜು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ಗುಹೆಗಳಾಗುವುವು. ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಯಲಾಗಿಯೂ, ದನಕರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲುಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವುವು.
Because the palace is abandoned, the tumult of the city is forsaken; the hill and watch-tower are become dens for a long time, a joyous haunt for wild asses, a pasture for flocks.
15 ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಉನ್ನತಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ಧಾರೆಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಯುವರು; ಆಗ ಪಾಳುಭೂಮಿ ಫಲಭರಿತ ಭೂಮಿಯಾಗುವುದು, ಫಲಭರಿತ ಭೂಮಿ ಸಮೃದ್ಧವಾದ ಅರಣ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಡುವುದು.
Until a spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be changed into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be accounted as a forest.
16 ನ್ಯಾಯವು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು, ಪೈರಿನ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿಯು ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದು.
Then shall justice dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness abide in the fruitful field.
17 ನೀತಿಯ ಕೆಲಸವು ಸಮಾಧಾನವೂ, ನೀತಿಯ ಫಲವು ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಶಾಂತಿಯೂ, ಭರವಸೆಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವುದು.
And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and security for ever.
18 ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ನಿವಾಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಭದ್ರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ಆಶ್ರಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
And then shall my people abide in peaceful dwellings, and secure abodes, and in undisturbed resting-places.
19 ಆದರೆ ಕಲ್ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿಯುವಾಗ ವನವು ಹಾಳಾಗುವುದು. ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನೆಲಸಮವಾಗುವುದು.
And it shall spread itself out in the declivity of the forest; and far down in the lowlands shall the city descend.
20 ನೀರಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತನೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ದನಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಯಲು ಬಿಡುವ ನೀವು ಧನ್ಯರೇ ಸರಿ.
Happy are ye that sow beside all waters, freely sending forth the feet of the ox and the ass.
