ಯೆಶಾಯನು 31
1 ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟನ್ನು ಸೇರಿ, ಅಶ್ವಬಲವನ್ನು, ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ! ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ರಥಗಳು ಬಹಳವೆಂದೂ, ಅವರ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ರಥಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಅನೇಕರು, ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನ ಮೇಲೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಇಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ಬಯಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and lean on horses, and trust in chariots (for they are many) and in horsemen (for they are countless). But they are not concerned about the Holy One of Israel, nor do they seek Yahweh!
2 ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ಜ್ಞಾನಿ, ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೆಗೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಕೆಡುಕರ ಮನೆತನಕ್ಕೂ, ಅನ್ಯಾಯಗಾರರ ಸಹಾಯಕರಿಗೂ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಏಳುವನು.
Yet he is wise, and he will bring disaster and will not retract his words. He will arise against the evil house and against the helpers of those who commit sin.
3 ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಮಾತ್ರದವರೇ, ದೇವರಲ್ಲ; ಅವರ ಅಶ್ವಗಳು ಆತ್ಮವಲ್ಲ, ಮೂಳೆಮಾಂಸವೇ. ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚುವಾಗ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯ ಪಡೆದವನೂ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗುವನು. ಅಂತೂ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಲಯವಾಗುವರು.
Egypt is a man and not God, their horses flesh and not spirit. When Yahweh reaches out with his hand, both the one who helps will stumble, and the one who is helped will fall; both will perish together.
4 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ: ಸಿಂಹವು, ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹವು ಬೇಟೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಗುರುಗುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ಕುರುಬರ ಗುಂಪು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಬಂದರೂ, ಹೇಗೆ ಅವರ ಶಬ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಭಯಪಡದೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅವರ ಗದ್ದಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಂದಿಹೋಗದೆ ಇರುವುದೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಅದರ ಗುಡ್ಡಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಇಳಿದು ಬರುವರು.
This is what Yahweh says to me, “As a lion, even a young lion, growls over its torn prey, when a group of shepherds is called out against it, but it does not tremble at their voices, nor creep away from their sound; thus Yahweh of hosts will descend to fight on Mount Zion, on that hill.
5 ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಂತೆ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವರು. ಅದನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಕಾಯುವರು. ಹಾದುಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ಅಪಾಯದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವರು.
Like birds in flight, so Yahweh of hosts will protect Jerusalem; he will protect and rescue as he passes over it and preserves it.
6 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೇ, ನೀವು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಅಗಾಧ ದ್ರೋಹವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರೋ, ಆತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
Return to him from whom you have deeply turned away, people of Israel.
7 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕೈಗಳು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡಿದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಮತ್ತು ಬಂಗಾರದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಬಿಸಾಡಿಬಿಡುವನು.
For in that day each one will get rid of his idols of silver and his idols of gold that your own hands have sinfully made.
8 ಆಗ ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದವರು ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಬೀಳುವರು. ಅದು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಖಡ್ಗವಲ್ಲ, ಖಡ್ಗವು ಅವರನ್ನು ನುಂಗುವುದು. ಅದು ಮಾನವ ಖಡ್ಗವಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಓಡುವರು. ಅವರ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರು ಜೀತದಾಳುಗಳಾಗುವರು.
Assyria will fall by the sword; a sword not wielded by man will consume him. He will flee from the sword, and his young men will be forced to do hard labor.
9 ಭಯಾನಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಅವರ ಕೋಟೆ ಬೀಳುವುದು, ಯುದ್ಧದ ದೃಶ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅವರ ಸೇನಾಪತಿಗಳು ಧ್ವಜಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ದಿಕ್ಕುಪಾಲಾಗುವರು. ಚೀಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಲುಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಘೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
They will lose all confidence because of terror, and his princes will be afraid at the sight of Yahweh's battle flag— this is Yahweh's declaration—whose fire is in Zion and whose firepot is in Jerusalem.”
