ಯೆಶಾಯನು 25
1 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವೇ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರು. ನೀವು ಸತ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿ, ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಆದಿಸಂಕಲ್ಪಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದ ಕಾರಣ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತಪಡಿಸಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು.
Jehovah, thou art my God: I will exalt thee; I will celebrate thy name, for thou hast done wonderful things; counsels of old [which are] faithfulness [and] truth.
2 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ದುರ್ಗವನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸಿ, ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಹಾಳುದಿಬ್ಬವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ವಿದೇಶಿಯರ ಕೋಟೆಯನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಕಟ್ಟಬಾರದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
For thou hast made of the city a heap, of the fortified town a ruin, the palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built up.
3 ಬಲಿಷ್ಠವಾದ ಜನಾಂಗವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸುವರು, ಭಯಂಕರವಾದ ಜನರ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಂಜುವುದು.
Therefore shall the mighty people glorify thee, the city of terrible nations shall fear thee.
4 ನೀವು ದೀನರಿಗೆ ಕೋಟೆಯೂ, ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದರಿದ್ರರಿಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ದುರ್ಗವೂ, ಭೀಕರರ ಶ್ವಾಸವು ಬಿಸಿಲಿಗೆ ನೆರಳೂ, ಗೋಡೆಗೆ ಬಡಿದು ಬಿಡುವ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯಂತಿರುವಾಗ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಶ್ರಯವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
For thou hast been a fortress to the poor, a fortress for the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat: for the blast of the terrible ones [has been] as the storm [against] a wall.
5 ಮೇಘವು ಒಣನೆಲದ ಕಾವನ್ನು ಆರಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ನೀವು ವಿದೇಶಿಯರ ಗದ್ದಲವನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸುವಿರಿ; ಮೋಡದ ನೆರಳಿನಿಂದ ಬಿಸಿಲು ತಡೆಯುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ನೀವು ಕ್ರೂರಿಗಳ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಗಾನವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಡುವಿರಿ.
Thou hast subdued the tumult of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; [as] the heat, by the shadow of a cloud, [so] the song of the terrible ones is brought low.
6 ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಈ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾರವತ್ತಾದ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಔತಣವನ್ನೂ, ಮಡ್ಡಿಗಟ್ಟಿದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಔತಣವನ್ನೂ, ಮಡ್ಡಿಗಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಶೋಧಿಸಿದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವರು.
And in this mountain will Jehovah of hosts make unto all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
7 ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿರುವ ಪರದೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಸಕಲ ದೇಶದವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಡಿರುವ ತೆರೆಯನ್ನೂ ಇದೇ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವರು.
And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the veil which veileth all the peoples, and the covering that is spread over all the nations.
8 ಅವರು ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಜಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವರು. ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮುಖಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನೂ ಒರಸಿಬಿಡುವರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಜನರ ನಿಂದೆಯನ್ನೂ ಭೂಮಂಡಲದಿಂದಲೇ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವರು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ಇದನ್ನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
He will swallow up death in victory. And the Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the reproach of his people will he take away from off all the earth: for Jehovah hath spoken.
9 ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು, “ಇಗೋ, ಇವರೇ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು, ನಾವು ಇವರನ್ನೇ ನಂಬಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಇವರೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವರು. ಇವರೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು, ನಾವು ಇವರನ್ನೇ ನಂಬಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ನಾವು ಇವರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಸಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವೆವು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವರು.
And it shall be said in that day, Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is Jehovah, we have waited for him; we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
10 ಈ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕೈ ವಿಶ್ರಮಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು. ಒಣಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನು ತಿಪ್ಪೆಗುಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತುಳಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮೋವಾಬು ತುಳಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಈಡಾಗುವುದು.
For in this mountain shall the hand of Jehovah rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, as straw is trodden down in the dunghill;
11 ಈಜುವವನು ಈಜುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಹಾಗೆ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಚಾಚುವರು. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಗರ್ವವನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಕೈ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನೂ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಬಿಡುವರು.
and he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth them forth to swim; and he shall bring down their pride together with the plots of their hands.
12 ದುರ್ಗದಂತೆ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿ, ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿ, ನೆಲಸಮಮಾಡುವರು, ಅದು ಧೂಳುಪಾಲಾಗುವುದು.
And the fortress of the high defences of thy walls will he bring down, lay low, bring to the ground, into the dust.
