ಯೆಶಾಯನು 24
1 ಇಗೋ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಬರಿದುಮಾಡಿ, ನಿರ್ಜನ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ತಲೆಕೆಳಗಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ, ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸಿಬಿಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Behold, Adonai makes the earth empty, makes it waste, turns it upside down, and scatters its inhabitants.
2 ಜನಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ; ದಾಸನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ; ದಾಸಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವಳ ಯಜಮಾನಿಗೆ; ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾರುವವನಿಗೆ; ಸಾಲಕೊಡುವವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸಾಲ ಪಡೆಯುವವನಿಗೆ; ಬಡ್ಡಿ ತೆಗೆಯುವವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಬಡ್ಡಿ ತರುವವನಿಗೆ ಆಗುವುದು.
It will be as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the creditor, so with the debtor; as with the taker of interest, so with the giver of interest.
3 ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಟ್ಟಬರಿದಾಗುವುದು, ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸುಲಿಗೆಯಾಗುವುದು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಾವೇ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
The earth will be utterly emptied and utterly laid waste; for Adonai has spoken this word.
4 ಭೂಮಿಯು ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗುವುದು. ಲೋಕವು ಸೊರಗಿ ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗುವುದು. ಆಕಾಶವು ಭೂಮಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋಗುವುದು.
The earth mourns and fades away. The world languishes and fades away. The lofty people of the earth languish.
5 ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ದೈವಾಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ, ದೈವನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿ, ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಭಂಗಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಸಹ ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಿಂದ ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾಗುವುದು.
The earth also is polluted under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the torot ·teachings·, changed the statutes, and broken the everlasting covenant.
6 ಆದಕಾರಣ ಶಾಪವು ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವವರು ದಂಡನೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿ, ಕೆಲವರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಉಳಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell therein are found condemned guilty. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
7 ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಬತ್ತಿಹೋಗುವುದು, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ಬಾಡುವುದು. ಹರ್ಷ ಹೃದಯರೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರುಬಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
The new wine mourns. The vine languishes. All the merry-hearted sigh.
8 ದಮ್ಮಡಿಗಳ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವು ಮುಗಿದಿದೆ. ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದ ಅವರ ಶಬ್ದವು ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯ ಆನಂದ ಸ್ವರವು ತೀರಿತು.
The mirth of tambourines ceases. The sound of those who rejoice ends. The joy of the harp ceases.
9 ಇನ್ನು ಗಾನದೊಡನೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯರು, ಕುಡಿಯುವವರಿಗೆ ಮದ್ಯಪಾನವು ಕಹಿಯಾಗುವುದು.
They will not drink wine with a song. Strong drink will be bitter to those who drink it.
10 ಹಾಳುಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಯಾರು ಒಳಗೆ ಬಾರದಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮನೆಯು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದೆ.
The confused city is broken down. Every house is shut up, that no man may come in.
11 ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಚುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಉಲ್ಲಾಸವೆಲ್ಲ ಅಸ್ತಮಿಸಿದೆ. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಸಂತೋಷವು ತೊಲಗಿಹೋಗಿದೆ.
There is a crying in the streets because of the wine. All joy is darkened. The mirth of the land is gone.
12 ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಳೇ ಉಳಿದಿವೆ. ನಾಶನವು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಬಡಿದಿದೆ.
The city is left in desolation, and the gate is struck with destruction.
13 ಓಲಿವ್ ಮರವನ್ನು ಬಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯು ತೀರಿದ ನಂತರವು ನಿಲ್ಲುವ ಉಳಿದ ಕಾಯಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು.
For it will be so within the earth among the peoples, as the shaking of an olive tree, as the gleanings when the vintage is done.
14 ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹಾಡುವರು. ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುವರು.
These shall lift up their voice. They will shout for the majesty of Adonai. They cry aloud from the sea.
15 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸಿರಿ; ಸಮುದ್ರದ ದ್ವೀಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ನೀವು ಘನಪಡಿಸಿರಿ, ಎಂದು ಕೂಗುವರು.
Therefore glorify Adonai in the east, even the name of Yahweh, Elohim Isra'el [He sustains breathing, God of God prevails], in the islands of the sea!
16 ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಿಂದ “ನೀತಿವಂತರಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಾಗಲಿ” ಎಂಬ ಗೀತೆಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ, “ನಾನಾದರೋ ಕ್ಷಯಿಸೇ ಕ್ಷಯಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನನಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ! ಬಾಧಕರು ಬಾಧಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೌದು, ಬಾಧಕರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಬಾಧಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.”
From the uttermost part of the earth have we sh'ma ·heard obeyed· songs. Glory to the upright! But I said, “I pine away! I pine away! woe is me!” The treacherous have dealt treacherously. Yes, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously.
17 ಭೂಮಿಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಭಯವೂ, ಕುಳಿಯೂ, ಬಲೆಯೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾದಿವೆ.
Fear, the pit, and the snare, are on you who inhabitant the earth.
18 ಆಗ ಭಯದ ಶಬ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವವನು ಗುಂಡಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಬೀಳುವನು. ಗುಂಡಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಏರಿಬರುವವನು ಬಲೆಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳುವನು. ಆಕಾಶದ ದ್ವಾರಗಳು ತೆರೆದಿವೆ. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳು ಕಂಪಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ.
It will happen that he who flees from the noise of the fear will fall into the pit; and he who comes up out of the middle of the pit will be taken in the snare; for the windows on high are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble.
19 ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಿರುಕುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ, ಬಿರಿದು ಬಿರಿದಿದೆ, ಭೂಮಿಯು ಕದಲಿಹೋಗಿದೆ.
The earth is utterly broken. The earth is torn apart. The earth is shaken violently.
20 ಭೂಮಿಯು ಕುಡುಕನ ಹಾಗೆ ಓಲಾಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಗಾಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಗುಡಿಸಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ತೂಗಾಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಅದರ ಅಪರಾಧವು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಭಾರವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ, ಅದು ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ, ತಿರುಗಿ ಏಳುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
The earth will stagger like a drunken man, and will sway back and forth like a hammock. Its rebellious breach of relationship will be heavy on it, and it will fall and not rise again.
21 ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆಕಾಶದವರ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಭೂರಾಜರನ್ನೂ ದಂಡಿಸುವರು.
It shall happen in that day that Adonai will punish the army of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth on the earth.
22 ನೆಲಮಾಳಿಗೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿದ ಸೆರೆಯವರ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳಿದ್ದ ತರುವಾಯ ದಂಡನೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವರು.
They shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit (of Abbadon, the unrighteous side of Sheol), and shall be shut up in the prison; and after many days shall they be visited.
23 ಆಮೇಲೆ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದ ಆಳುವಾಗ, ಚಂದ್ರನಿಗೆ ಅವಮಾನವಾಗುವುದು, ಸೂರ್ಯನು ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಡುವನು.
Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for Adonai Tzva'ot [Yahweh Commander of heaven’s armies] will reign on Mount Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], and in Jerusalem [City of peace]; and before his elders will be kavod ·weighty glory·.
