ಯೆಶಾಯನು 2
1 ಆಮೋಚನ ಮಗ ಯೆಶಾಯನಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡು ಬಂದ ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿ:
the word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 ಆ ಅಂತ್ಯಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಂದಿರದ ಪರ್ವತವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗುಡ್ಡಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಉನ್ನತೋನ್ನತವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ನೆಲೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು. ಆಗ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಅದರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾಹದಂತೆ ಬರುವವು.
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of YHWH 's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ಬಂದು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುವರು, “ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೂ, ಯಾಕೋಬನ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೂ ಏರಿಹೋಗೋಣ. ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವರು, ನಾವು ಅವರ ದಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವೆವು.” ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಚೀಯೋನಿನಿಂದ ದೇವರ ನಿಯಮವೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವೂ ಹೊರಡುವುವು.
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of YHWH, to the house of the Elohim of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of YHWH from Jerusalem.
4 ಅವರು ಅನೇಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಿ, ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸುವರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಖಡ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಗಿಲಿನ ಗುಳಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಬರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಡುಗೋಲುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡುವರು. ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಜನಾಂಗವು ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಾಭ್ಯಾಸದ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಇರುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
5 ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯೋಣ.
O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of YHWH.
6 ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರು ಪೂರ್ವದೇಶಗಳ ಮಂತ್ರತಂತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗ್ನರಾಗಿ, ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಂತೆ ಕಣಿ ಹೇಳುವವರಾಗಿಯೂ, ಬೇರೆ ದೇಶಗಳವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಈ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.
7 ಅವರ ದೇಶವು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಿತಿಯಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ದೇಶವು ಕುದುರೆಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ, ಅವರ ರಥಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಿತಿಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:
8 ಅವರ ದೇಶವು ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಬೆರಳುಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವರು.
Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:
9 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ನಮ್ರರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತಲೆಬಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಬೇಡಿ.
And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.
10 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಭಯಕ್ಕೂ, ಅವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಘನತೆಗೂ ಬಂಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಕೋ. ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಅಡಗಿಕೋ.
Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of YHWH, and for the glory of his majesty.
11 ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಅಹಂಭಾವದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯು ಕುಗ್ಗುವುದು. ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಗರ್ವವು ತಗ್ಗುವುದು. ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೊಬ್ಬರೇ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿರುವರು.
The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and YHWH alone shall be exalted in that day.
12 ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದಿನವು ಗರ್ವ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಹಂಭಾವದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುವವರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಬರುವುದು, ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸುವರು.
For the day of YHWH of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
13 ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿರುವ ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವದಾರು ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಏಲಾ ಮರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ
And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,
14 ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿರುವ ಪರ್ವತಗಳು, ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು,
And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,
15 ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಗೋಪುರಗಳು, ಭದ್ರವಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ,
And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,
16 ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತಾರ್ಷೀಷಿನ ಹಡಗುಗಳು ನೋಡತಕ್ಕ ಮನೋಹರವಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ನೌಕೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಆ ದಿನವು ತಪ್ಪದೇ ಬರುವುದು.
And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.
17 ಜನರ ಅಟ್ಟಹಾಸವು ತಗ್ಗಿಹೋಗುವುದು. ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೊಬ್ಬರೇ ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿರುವರು.
And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and YHWH alone shall be exalted in that day.
18 ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿಬಿಡುವುವು.
And the idols he shall utterly abolish.
19 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ನಡುಗಿಸಲು ಎದ್ದಾಗ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೂ, ಅವರ ಘನಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆದರಿ, ಬಂಡೆಗಳ ಸಂದುಗಳಿಗೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಗವಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಜನರು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of YHWH, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
20 ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಪೂಜಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಚಿನ್ನದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಲಿ ಬಾವಲಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಬಿಸಾಡಿಬಿಡುವರು.
In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
21 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ನಡುಗಿಸಲು ಎದ್ದಾಗ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಭಯಕ್ಕೂ, ಅವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಘನಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆದರಿ ಬಂಡೆಗಳ ಸಂದುಗಳಿಗೂ, ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿರುವ ಬಂಡೆಗಳ ಕಡಿದಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಗೂ ಜನರು ನುಗ್ಗುವರು.
To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of YHWH, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
22 ಉಸಿರು ಇರುವವರೆಗೆ ಬದುಕುವ ನರಮಾನವನ ಮೇಲಿನ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನ ಗಣನೆ ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ?
Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?
