ಯೆಶಾಯನು 16
1 ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಆಳುವವನಿಗೆ ಕಪ್ಪವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡತಕ್ಕ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯನ್ನು ಸೆಲ ಬಂಡೆಯಿಂದ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ, ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿರಿ.
Send the tribute lambs to the ruler of the land, from Sela in the desert to the mount of Daughter Zion.
2 ಗೂಡಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದ ಹಕ್ಕಿಗಳ ಮರಿಗಳಂತೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರು ಅರ್ನೋನ್ ನದಿಯ ಹಾಯ್ಗಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವರು.
Like fluttering birds pushed out of the nest, so are the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon:
3 ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿ, ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿರಿ. ಮಟ್ಟ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೆರಳನ್ನು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ವಲಸಿಗರನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸಿರಿ. ಅಲೆಯುವವರನ್ನು ಬಯಲಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಡ.
“Give us counsel; render a decision. Shelter us at noonday with shade as dark as night. Hide the refugees; do not betray the one who flees.
4 ಮೋವಾಬ್ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ವಲಸೆಹೋದವರು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಲಿ. ವಿನಾಶಕರಿಗೆ ವಶವಾಗದಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯ ನೀಡಿರಿ. ದಬ್ಬಾಳಿಕೆ ಮುಗಿಯುತ್ತಾ ಬಂತು. ಸೂರೆಮಾಡುವುದು ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು, ಪೀಡಿಸುವವರು ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗುವರು.
Let my fugitives stay with you; be a refuge for Moab from the destroyer.” When the oppressor has gone, destruction has ceased, and the oppressors have vanished from the land,
5 ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಗುವುದು. ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವವನೂ, ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವನೂ, ನೀತಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತ್ವರೆಪಡುವವನೂ, ದಾವೀದನ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
in loving devotion a throne will be established in the tent of David. A judge seeking justice and hastening righteousness will sit on it in faithfulness.
6 ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಗರ್ವವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಆಕೆಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಗರ್ವ. ಆಕೆಯ ಅಹಂಕಾರವು, ಆಕೆಯ ಗರ್ವವು ಮತ್ತು ಆಕೆಗೆ ಕೋಪವು ಸಹ ಉಂಟು. ಆದರೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆ ಬರಿದಾದದ್ದು.
We have heard of Moab’s pomposity, his exceeding pride and conceit, his overflowing arrogance. But his boasting is empty.
7 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರು ಗೋಳಾಡುವರು, ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಗೋಳಾಡುವರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕೀರ್ ಹರೆಷೆಥಿನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಕಡುಬುಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನೀವು ದುಃಖಿಸುವಿರಿ. ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅವರು ನೊಂದು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Therefore let Moab wail; let them wail together for Moab. Moan for the raisin cakes of Kir-hareseth, you who are utterly stricken.
8 ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನ್ ಊರಿನ ಹೊಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಮ ಊರಿನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಸಹ ನಿಸ್ಸಾರವಾಗಿವೆ. ಇತರ ಜನರ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಗಿಡಗಳು ಯಜ್ಜೇರ್ ಊರಿನವರೆಗೂ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿ, ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳು ಹಬ್ಬಿ, ಸಮುದ್ರದವರೆಗೆ ವಿಶಾಲವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
For the fields of Heshbon have withered, along with the grapevines of Sibmah. The rulers of the nations have trampled its choicest vines, which had reached as far as Jazer and spread toward the desert. Their shoots had spread out and passed over the sea.
9 ಆದಕಾರಣ ಸಿಬ್ಮದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಯಜ್ಜೇರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಳುವೆನು. ಓ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲೆಯಾಲೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿನಿಂದ ತೋಯಿಸುವೆನು! ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯ ಫಲಗಳಿಗೂ, ಬೆಳೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
So I weep with Jazer for the vines of Sibmah; I drench Heshbon and Elealeh with my tears. Triumphant shouts have fallen silent over your summer fruit and your harvest.
10 ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದ ಹೊಲಗಳಿಂದ ಸಂತೋಷವು ಮತ್ತು ಆನಂದವು ತೊಲಗಿವೆ. ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿತೋಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳಾಗಲೀ, ಆರ್ಭಟವಾಗಲೀ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ತೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ತೆಗೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಕೂಗಾಟವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Joy and gladness are removed from the orchard; no one sings or shouts in the vineyards. No one tramples the grapes in the winepresses; I have put an end to the cheering.
11 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವೂ, ಕೀರ್ ಹೆರೆಸೆಥ್ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಂಗವೂ ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯಂತೆ ಮಿಡಿಯುತ್ತಾ ದುಃಖಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
Therefore my heart laments for Moab like a harp, my inmost being for Kir-heres.
12 ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋವಾಬು ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯಾಸಗೊಂಡಂತೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅವಳ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಫಲವಾಗದು.
When Moab appears on the high place, when he wearies himself and enters his sanctuary to pray, it will do him no good.
13 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದೆ ನುಡಿದ ಮಾತು ಇದೇ:
This is the message that the LORD spoke earlier concerning Moab.
14 ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಗುಲಾಮಗಿರಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಲೆಕ್ಕಾಚಾರದಂತೆ, ಮೂರು ವರುಷದೊಳಗೆ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ವೈಭವವು ಹೀನಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಈಡಾಗುವುದು. ಅಲ್ಲಿನವರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳಿದುಉಳಿಯುವವರು ಬಲಹೀನರಾದ ಕೆಲವು ಜನರಾಗಿರುವರು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
And now the LORD says, “In three years, as a hired worker counts the years, Moab’s splendor will become an object of contempt, with all her many people. And those who are left will be few and feeble.”
