ಹೋಶೇಯನು 8
1 “ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ತುತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೋ. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ, ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಅಪರಾಧ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಹದ್ದಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವರು.
Put the horn to your mouth. He comes like an eagle against the house of the Lord; because they have gone against my agreement, they have not kept my law.
2 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನವರು, ‘ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇವೆ,’ ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ಕೂಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
They will send up to me a cry for help: We, Israel, have knowledge of you, O God of Israel.
3 ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಒಬ್ಬ ಶತ್ರುವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವನು.
Israel has given up what is good; his haters will go after him.
4 ಅವರು ಅರಸರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನಿಂದಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಅನುಮತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ತಾವು ನಾಶವಾಗುವಂತೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದಲೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದಲೂ ತಮಗೆ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
They have put up kings, but not by me; they have made princes, but I had no knowledge of it; they have made images of silver and gold, so that they may be cut off.
5 ಸಮಾರ್ಯವೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಸವ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಬಿಸಾಡಿಬಿಡು. ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಅವರು ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಶುದ್ಧತೆಗೆ ಅಸಮರ್ಥರಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ?
I will have nothing to do with your young ox, O Samaria; my wrath is burning against them; how long will it be before the children of Israel make themselves clean?
6 ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಬಂದವರು. ಕಮ್ಮಾರನು ಈ ಬಸವ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅದು ದೇವರಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಬಸವನನ್ನು ಚೂರುಚೂರಾಗುವುದು.
The workman made it, it is no god; the ox of Samaria will be broken into bits.
7 “ಅವರು ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪೈರು ತೆನೆಗೆ ಬಾರದು. ಮೊಳಕೆಯು ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅದು ಕೊಟ್ಟರೂ ವಿದೇಶಿಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ನುಂಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.
For they have been planting the wind, and their fruit will be the storm; his grain has no stem, it will give no meal, and if it does, a strange nation will take it.
8 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಕಬಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಡವಾದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.
Israel has come to destruction; now they are among the nations like a cup in which there is no pleasure.
9 ಅವರು ಒಂಟಿಯಾದ ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯಗೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಪ್ರೇಮಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಾರಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
For they have gone up to Assyria like an ass going by himself; Ephraim has given money to get lovers.
10 ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮಾರಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಈಗ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವರು ಪ್ರಬಲ ಅರಸನ ಹಿಂಸೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಕಷ್ಟಪಡುವರು.
But though they give money to the nations for help, still I will send them in all directions; and in a short time they will be without a king and rulers.
11 “ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಪಾಪ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೂ, ಈ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳೇ ಅವರ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿವೆ.
Because Ephraim has been increasing altars for sin, altars have become a cause of sin to him.
12 ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ನಿಯಮದ ಅನೇಕ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿದನು.
Though I put my law in writing for him in ten thousand rules, they are to him as a strange thing.
13 ಅವರು ಯಜ್ಞದ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗ ಅವರ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅವರ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವರು.
He gives the offerings of his lovers, and takes the flesh for food; but the Lord has no pleasure in them; now he will keep in mind their evil-doing and give them the punishment of their sins; they will go back to Egypt.
14 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಅರಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಯೆಹೂದವು ಸಹ ಕೋಟೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಅದರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು. ಅದು ಅವರ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವುದು.”
For Israel has no memory of his Maker, and has put up the houses of kings; and Judah has made great the number of his walled towns. But I will send a fire on his towns and put an end to his great houses.
