ಹಬಕ್ಕೂಕನು 1
1 ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಹಬಕ್ಕೂಕನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯು:
The burden that Habacuc the prophet saw.
2 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡಬೇಕು. ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮೊರೆಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದಿರುವಿರಿ. “ಹಿಂಸೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ,” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಆದರೂ ನೀವು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
How long, O Lord, shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear? shall I cry out to thee suffering violence, and thou wilt not save?
3 ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡುವಂತೆ ಏಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ? ತಪ್ಪನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಸಹಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನಾಶವೂ ಹಿಂಸೆಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇವೆ. ಹೋರಾಟವೂ ಒಡುಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಲಿವೆ.
Why hast thou shewn me iniquity and grievance, to see rapine and injustice before me? and there is a judgment, but opposition is more powerful.
4 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೈವನಿಯಮವು ಪಕ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಇಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನ್ಯಾಯವು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟರು ನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪು ಹೊರಡುತ್ತದೆ.
Therefore the law is torn in pieces, and judgment cometh not to the end: because the wicked prevaileth against the just, therefore wrong judgment goeth forth.
5 “ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಗೊಟ್ಟು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಡಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವಮಾನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಒಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಆ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ನೀವದನ್ನು ನಂಬುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
Behold ye among the nations, and see: wonder, and be astonished: for a work is done in your days, which no man will believe when it shall be told.
6 ನಾನು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯರನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವರು ಉಗ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಸಿ ಜನರು. ತಮ್ಮದಲ್ಲದ ನಿವಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವರು.
For behold, I will raise up the Chaldeans, a bitter and swift nation, marching upon the breadth of the earth, to possess the dwelling places that are not their own.
7 ಅವರು ಭಯಂಕರವಾದವರು ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೂರವಾದವರು. ಅವರು ತಮಗೆ ತಾವೇ ಕಾನೂನಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವೇ ಗೌರವಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
They are dreadful, and terrible: from themselves shall their judgment, and their burden proceed.
8 ಅವರ ಕುದುರೆಗಳು ಚಿರತೆಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ವೇಗವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಸಂಜೆಯ ತೋಳಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಚುರುಕಾಗಿಯೂ ಇವೆ. ಅವರ ಅಶ್ವಸೈನ್ಯ ಎರಗುವುದು. ಅವರ ಕುದುರೆ ಸವಾರರು ದೂರದಿಂದ ಬರುವರು; ನುಂಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ತ್ವರೆಪಡುವ ಹದ್ದಿನಂತೆ ಹಾರಿ ಬರುವರು.
Their horses are lighter than leopards, and swifter than evening wolves; and their horsemen shall be spread abroad: for their horsemen shall come from afar, they shall fly as an eagle that maketh haste to eat.
9 ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವರು; ಅವರ ಸಮೂಹ, ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯ ಗಾಳಿಯಂತೆಯೇ ಮುಂದೆ ಬರುವುದು; ಸೆರೆಯವರನ್ನು ಮರಳಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸುವರು.
They shall all come to the prey, their face is like a burning wind: and they shall gather together captives as the sand.
10 ಅವರ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಧಿಕ್ಕರಿಸುವರು; ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವರು; ಕೋಟೆಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕುಚೋದ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವರು; ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ದಿನ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವರು.
And their prince shall triumph over kings, and princes shall be his laughingstock: and he shall laugh at every strong hold, and shall cast up a mount, and shall take it.
11 ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯಂತೆ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಗುವರು. ಅಪರಾಧಿ ಜನರವರು. ಅವರ ಸ್ವಂತ ಬಲ, ಅವರ ದೇವರು.”
Then shall his spirit be changed, and he shall pass, and fall: this is his strength of his god.
12 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ಅನಾದಿಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಬಂದವರಲ್ಲವೇ? ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರೇ, ನೀನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಸಾಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಅವರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನನ್ನ ಬಂಡೆಯೇ, ನೀವು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಅವರನ್ನು ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Wast thou not from the beginning, O Lord my God, my holy one, and we shall not die? Lord, thou hast appointed him for judgment: and made him strong for correction.
13 ನೀನು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಶುದ್ಧ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳುಳ್ಳವರು. ನೀವು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲಾರಿರಿ, ವಂಚಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀರಿ? ದುಷ್ಟನು ತನಗಿಂತ ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿ ಬಿಡುವ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರುತ್ತೀರಿ?
Thy eyes are too pure to behold evil, and thou canst not look on iniquity. Why lookest thou upon them that do unjust things, and holdest thy peace when the wicked devoureth the man that is more just than himself?
14 ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೀನುಗಳಂತೆಯೂ, ಆಳುವವನಿಲ್ಲದ ಕ್ರಿಮಿಗಳಂತೆಯೂ ಮಾಡಿರುತ್ತೀರಿ.
And thou wilt make men as the fishes of the sea, and as the creeping things that have no ruler.
15 ದುಷ್ಟ ವೈರಿಯು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಗಾಳದಿಂದ ಎತ್ತಿ, ತನ್ನ ಬಲೆಯಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು, ತನ್ನ ಜಾಲದಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅವನು ಹಿಗ್ಗುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
He lifted up all them with his hook, he drew them in his drag, and gathered them into his net: for this he will be glad and rejoice.
16 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲೆಗೆ ಬಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಜಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸುಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇವುಗಳಿಂದ ಅವರ ಭೋಜನ ಪುಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅವರ ಆಹಾರ ರುಚಿಯುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದೆ.
Therefore will he offer victims to his drag, and he will sacrifice to his net: because through them his portion is made fat, and his meat dainty.
17 ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲೆಯನ್ನು ಬರಿದುಮಾಡಿ, ಕರುಣೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಅವನು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೇ?
For this cause therefore he spreadeth his net, and will not spare continually to slay the nations.
